The staff is always super friendly and reliable. Full menu available until midnight 365 days a year. It's very much appreciated, especially being in the restaurant industry, many places are closed once you get out of work.
Great rotating draft beer selection, pizza on point. I always recommend it to out-of-towners or those looking for a late dinner.

We've used the upstairs at B.J. Ryan's for our Lacrosse Team meetings and the space, food and staff were perfect! I highly recommend B.J.s to anyone looking for a space for a private event.... and it's great for a night out as well!
The famous TV show Cheers gave America a vision of what the corner bar should be. A place where friends gather at the end of work or to watch a game "where everybody knows your name".
BJ's hits the mark in that tradition. The staff know most of the patrons by name plus their preferences in both food and drink. They are always welcoming to new faces as well. You feel not like you are going to an establishment but more like you are going to a friend's home except for the tab. (LOL)
BJ Ryan's is our go-to for friendly faces and consistently great food in Norwalk. The beer list is constantly changing (in a good way), the mainstays on the menu are solid and the daily specials always offer great options to mix it up a bit. Great place for a few drinks, good conversation and to take in a game or two.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food last night. The ribs were juicy and tasty. I had leftovers for lunch at the job and my co-workers kept asking where I got them. More casual than [219910254714090:BJ Ryan's BanC House], but the food and portions were just as good! #jazzonice
BJ Ryan’s has it all. A cozy bar/restaurant downstairs with a big energy/ overflow room upstairs. The proprietors are hands on and friendly and the menu a great mix of dishes from the owners favorite restaurants around the country. Don’t miss the bang bang shrimp, basic cheeseburger, poblano peppers and a host of other down-Home and specialty dishes. It’s like family in there.

We went here for a birthday dinner and was not disappointed at all. The selection of food and drinks are fair prices for the location in Fairfield County, and this being a chain restaurant ,the portions for the price are more than reasonable.
Certainly a great location with plenty of parking and the sports bar located inside was impressive.

Always love BJ Ryan's. Often go for drinks and Sunday meal. Max is usually our waiter and he is great. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Dawn has shifted to days. Wish you the best Dawn! We have been going to BJ's for years as well as doing takeout when they were closed at the beginning of COVID. Always great service and fantastic food. You can order anything from a simple omelet to something more substantial. Great desserts too.
I believe the restaurant part is there mostly as a service for their bar. Some custom likes to eat and drink at the same time. I go there for the food as I don't drink, at least not fermented or distilled beverages. The food is great. They serve a nice steak as well as the chicken marsala (my choice). The waitress might not be there in second you sit down, but she (there are several "she" but only one at a time) is friendly and efficient. I will be back. I have been there many times and I might bring a friend too.

Prime rib is the best in town. Kitchen is open very late, the food is pretty good. Try the perogies. Took one star off due to the rude blonde waitress there during the day. Came to pick up my order and paid cash. She asked if I needed change (seriously?) and I said yes please. She copped an attitude and came back and tossed the change in my hand. I assume because I didn't tip her (for a phone in pick up order) or she felt she was too busy with customers seated inside. Either way, I'm not your boyfriend, save that attitude for him.
