It’s so hard to find the right bakery and BINGO! My new fave. The cake decorator was the sweetest person and helped me pick the right fillings and choices. I specifically said I’m not a fan of fondant because I don’t like sweet cakes. Their buttercream is like silk. To die for. In addition people might not know but for their buttercream you need to let it thaw out before your event leave it out for 3-4 hours. So it’s not hard and it’s a delightful silky taste. The guests at the party were delighted and enjoyed every bite and went for seconds. Picture below I added the giraffe figures. They did the design and added the sun flower. Thank you Sugar Fixe. Sugar Fixe provided macarons, mini fruit tartlets, and mini cupcakes for my bridal shower a few weeks ago. Not only were they able to do this for me with only a couple week turnaround time, but they did a truly incredible job with everything! They were organized, communicative, and timely in delivering each item. Each baked good was delicious, but I think my favorites were the fruit tartlets! They were such a refreshing pop of color and flavor, and a unique addition to my dessert table.
They were able to create a tower of macarons in pink ombre with gold splatter for me, which was just incredible! They had such great flavors too: vanilla, raspberry, and lychee rose.
The mini cupcakes were red velvet and vanilla, and both were a total hit with my guests.
In addition to everything tasting incredible, each staff member that I spoke to were so kind and treated me in such a special way. I cannot express how appreciated it was. I cannot wait to utilize Sugar Fixe again for gorgeous and delicious desserts for future events!
If you want excellent pastry this is the place to go! Our local guides brought us here for pastry after leaving another business which also served pastry....they said this was definitely the place to come. There's limited seating inside as well as out. Good location within Oak Park.
My family got me a birthday cake from here, and it was the best cake I’ve ever had. Their buttercream frosting is amazing, and the cake wasn’t overly sweet. Just perfect. My new go to place for cake, thank you Sugar Fixe!

Recently stopped here for the first time to pick up some cupcakes, etc, for a friend's birthday. They were delish and reasonably priced. Great boxes for transport, too. Everyone was friendly. Thanks!
