There is not a place to sit down and eat so approach accordingly. That would be the only slight negative about this place because, although the menu is somewhat narrow, the food is executed flawlessly. There is a lot of care in the details present here and the owners are friendly and have a lot of pride in the business. I will most definitely be coming back.
I've been wanting to try Mediterranean Delight for ages and am glad we finally tried it today. We got 2 appetizers, a salad, a huge entree, and dessert for $26. The owner was very friendly, the food was fresh and everything tasted great. The chicken shawarma plate was enough for two people. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
I'm trying to stay away from processed food. So thought I'd give Mediterranean Delight a try. I wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly and my meal was fresh and flavorable. Will most definitely be back on my next visit to the lovely city of Oak Ridge.
This is a true hole-in-the wall place and well worth trying if you like middle eastern food. Personally I think they have the best baba ghanoush in the world, but who am I to claim such a thing:) Very little seating space, so you'll likely take your items back to work or home. For me the salads are on the weak side, but I've had good luck with a variety of wraps, shiskabob-style items and others. I am also a big fan of their lasagna and their moussaka, but I always take these home and have them for dinner on another day...be forewarned, both are spiced in unusual fashion, so if you are thinking Italian lasagna, you may not like the flavor. But if you like the more fragrant herbs of the middle east, you may like these as much as I do.
Holy cow!!!!! Amazing!!! Had no clue this little place was so close to me! The owner is one of a kind and so helpful and the food is crazy good! Will def be goin back! Don't go for the building because it's not much but the food will make you wanna go back! Reminded me of a restaurant I went to in Greece.
GOOD FOOD -- GREAT OWNER. We stopped by there this afternoon to try the Mediterranean cuisine--it's a bit hard to find, but the food is good. I had the chicken shawarma plate with Greek salad. The shawarma is flavored well over rice. The Greek salad is...Greek salad--the olives were still pitted, so be careful before biting down. The wife's hummus was some of the best I've eaten and the baba ghanoush has a great smoky eggplant flavor--extremely with pita.
The owner is passionate about his restaurant and food--he is proud of it and wants to ensure the customer is well-fed and pleased with the meal. I found it interesting that he barters for some of the ingredients from local farmers. Awesome!
Wonderful !! Hidden on the corner of a tiny strip mall!! By far the BEST, FRESHEST, AUTHENTIC AND MOST DELICIOUS Meditteranean I have EVER EATEN! Definitely a DELIGHT!!!
I just recently discovered this restaurant and it is fantastic. A little small, so get ur order to go but great food. Will continue to frequent this establishment!

Fresh and Delicious!. I love a good Greek meal and this did not disappoint. I had a little bit of trouble finding the place, just as I was ready to give up I saw a sign pointing in the direction of the place. The small restaurant is located in an industrial complex. Don't be put off by this as the food is worth it. There are a few tables outside and they have the office space next door with a few tables. It is a little awkward if you go this route if there are others in eating too. Small quarters. If that makes you uncomfortable you may want to get it to go.
I got the chicken kabob combination. I liked the fact you could choose different items for your combo. I had the hummus, cucumber salad, and pita bread. I also got one "Sambusch" which is considered a finger food. It was a type of dough filled with seasoned hamburger. The seasoning had a nice hint of cloves. I dipped it in my garlic sauce and it was yum! The chicken kabobs were excellent. Very moist, perfectly seasoned and not over cooked. Just amazing. The pita was fresh and a perfect pairing with the rest of the meal.
They have a nice menu selection and everyone was helpful and friendly. It is a very small place but the awesome meal makes up for it. The portions were just right. The tea was good too, I had half sweet tea/half unsweet. Just right.
I would recommend it if you enjoy a good Mediterranean meal.

Location: across the Oak Ridge Turnpike from the Methodist Medical Ctr; located in the back, far right end of the 2nd bldg (of the 2 bldg strip mall).
Sounds confusing, but act like your going to go behind the physical therapy bldg from the left side, then veer right. You should see the sign for it!
It's a must for great food and the owners are incredible! The food always fresh, made at the time of order. They even have Turkish coffee that is out of this world! Enjoy!

This was my first time ordering from this place and the person taking my oder was incredible and really nice. So that made this experience that much better for me.
But now let's get to the food. I ordered Shawarma (with chicken) and a few Grape Leaves.
The Shawarma was absolutely wonderful, the seasoning and the meat/veggie ratio in this dish was so so worth the price it goes for. I definitely recommend it!
The Grape Leaves are also very refreshing, and taste so amazing! A very nice little side snack that can also be very filling!
If you happen to be in this general area and get hungry, let me recommend this location for a Mediterranean Delight. (Pun intended) 😁
Best food in the area. Always fresh and tasty. They have a variety of options for every taste. My kids love their lasagna, and I love the vegetarian options. The people running this place are friendly and I enjoy having a brief discussion with them when picking up the food. Highly recommended.

It was my first time going to this hidden gem. Everything was excellent! I am allergic to dairy so he was quick to offer substitutions to my meal. And I finished off the hummus and chips and I have been all but dreaming about them ever since. It is safe to say I will be back soon,haha.
I’m usually an avid take a picture of your food kinda gal but I was to excited to find a gyro place that I had no idea even existed in Oak Ridge! This place was delicious and the owners were very kind! We will definitely be back!
When you see the owners apologize and return $3 on a pre-ordered item when the customer had no clue you know this is a business you want to support.
Add to that the fact that the food is carryingly prepared and increasing decicious and this is definitely worthy of your business.
I had the gyro, cucumber salad, grape leaves, and baklava. The gyro was put together a little more like a burrito, but that made it better in many ways. I definitely recommend!
Was looking for a quick bite and found this place just using my map app. The reviews were good and I thought a falafel sounded good. Wow. I was not disappointed. Best falafel I ever had. Period.
Food was pretty good. It is in a business district and a little hard to find. Good authentic Greek food. The dining area is next door to where you order. Some older decor with some authentic places and wall hangings. I forgot to take a picture of the food. But the chicken combo plate was quite tasty. The hummus was good but the pita bread tasted old and very dry.
