Never had a bad experience with Bahama Breeze. The food is always delicious the atmosphere is great, the music and style will take you to another world ............just nice vibes. Seafood Paella and the Jerk chicken in the pineapples are delicious. The Seafood Paella had muscles in it, and they were cooked perfectly.
Great restaurant on Federal Highway (Rt 1) in Ft Lauderdale. Lots of unique dishes and cocktails. Friendly staff and prices are reasonable.
Really liked this location because it's not as crowded. We got our food fairly fast. Food was good and drinks were tasty.
A nice Caribbean look and feel, like you are on a tropical island. The food was good with many options. The server and staff were very nice and helpful. The pricing is competitive and appropriate.
Great Caribbean Island restaurant. Welcomed by many as we walked in. Friendly, cute staff. Great vibe w DJ on the patio. Classic American & Jerk Seafood food favorites, Island drinks and appetizers. Happy Hour M-F 4 to 6pm. We enjoyed Seafood Paella and Jerk Chicken w Rice in Pineapple. Large portions, you could share. ;) We sat on the patio, enjoyed a great breeze and shade. Great service, location and food for everyone that can show up. I highly recommend.
Easy ordering through the app and pick up was painless, however all 3 meals were stuffed into 1 plastic bag. Paper straws were broken under the bag, only 2 cutlery for 3 meals.
I would like to start this review by saying I was invited out to dinner to spend an evening fellowshipping with other married couples.
We thought there was a reservation and surprise there wasn’t. After communicating with the seating specialist we were able to secure outside seating with our party which was the original plan!!!
We had a great time and the love dj was amazing playing a great mix of songs for our very diverse party.
Now there important part the food. We ordered the jerk shrimp and it was good but a little oily. So we asked for a jerk style dipping sauce and the kitchen didn’t disappoint. The jerk butter sauce they whipped up was amazing!!
The drinks were also very good and we had a very good time.
Thank you Bahama Breeze.
Had a magical Margarita and a wonderful Shrimp & Lobster Linguine (No you can’t have too much cheese)
This restaurant is so clean and spacious. I love their jerk chicken, black beans and plantians, but when we're in Ft lauderdale, we mainly go there for their out-of-this-world drinks and Caribbean like atmosphere. They also have live music!!!
Great drinks, ambiance, service and prices - especially during happy hour.
I had coconut shrimp and yellow rice. Tasted great. We also had fried chicken sandwich. Love the music.
Quick tourist lunch visit with no wait for table for 4, sweet. Our server Sylvia was all smiles, so sweet & friendly.
Our food and drinks arrived promptly. Our daughters enjoyed the festive nonalcoholic drinks. Food was flavorful and restaurant was very charming with tropical vibes.
Upon exiting, everyone was so engaging and happy.
Would definitely recommend visiting.
Beautiful restaurant decor. Great customer service. Drinks are weak but food was great. The chips were overcooked but the seafood dip was delicious. I'd definitely come back but if you're looking to converse with your date or friend sit outside away from the music because they play it so loudly you will not be able to hear the other person speaking.
Visiting the happy hour while on vacation. We Sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and nice. He Gave good recommendations of things to do while we were in the area. Food was good and atmosphere was nice. Only issue was There was a lady manager that would come behind the counter to make drinks, but she didn’t wash hands or anything before touching items behind the bar. Which was only a concern because she was all over the Resturant helping customers as a host, at tables, and then making select drinks at the bar. She seemed more in the way of the bartender then a help. We figured she was making the drinks for the people she knew as she would come up and tell him “I’m making at one” or just come back there and start making drinks. She was annoying me as a customer so I’m sure the bartender was annoyed.
Located along Federal Highway, Bahama Breeze is an appealing restaurant that caters, has happy hour, indoor/outdoor seating, live music, and offers a variety of island-infused dishes such as:
* Steak/pork/chicken/seafood dishes
* Appetizers/soups/salads/tacos
* Kids menu/desserts
* Full stock bar/cold & hot beverages
I decided to come here for lunch. I already knew what I wanted so after being seated, I gave the pleasant female server my drink and food order. Within minutes, the server placed my order in front of me. After taking a few pics, I began to indulge...starting with the coconut shrimp, which was served with a bowl of Bahamian seafood chowder.
The shrimp was perfectly prepared with a crunchy coconut coating. The citrus mustard sauce complemented the shrimp so well. Really wanted more of it. The chowder was delicious, creamy, and full of flavor with tender bits of potato and seafood pieces in every bite. The pineapple-coconut martini was lightly sweet with a touch of rum. Wasn't overpowering.
When the server came around to see if things were ok, I asked about the dessert menu since I had a bit of room in my tummy. As the server verbally recalled the dessert list, I knew I heard pineapple cheesecake in there. The server then explained it was pineapple cheesecake empanadas. I contemplated whether to try it...but I wouldn't be a foodie if I didn't...why not.
As the plate was placed in front of me, I stared at it in awe. Visually the empanadas was appetizing. Four freshly made empanadas filled with pineapple bits and cheesecake, fried to a golden brown with cinnamon sugar and chocolate/raspberry drizzle. I never tasted cheesecake hot before, but I have to admit the flavors of the filling together with the fried dough was amazing, and it wasn't too sweet.
I managed to eat two of the empanadas and take the remainder home as a snack. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Though it has been over two years since I dined at Bahama Breeze, I am glad that the chill vibes at the restaurant are still there, as well as the good customer service, refreshing drinks, and well prepared dishes.
This place is great!!!!!!! Food is top tier and definitely a great stop, if you have the server named Bere consider yourself lucky, she is super duper nice and treats everyone like family, this place is overall a five star, I recommend the shrimp and lobster linguine. Have fun at this awesome resturaunt!
