Love the story, the name, love the place and most of all the food! I literally felt like a kid in candy shop, I couldn't stop smiling. It is so hard to find quality GF baked good. It was like walking into heaven!

I visited San Francisco in August of 2016 and made Mariposa in the Ferry Building a destination on my trip.... and was blown away! This is hands down the best gluten free bakery I've ever had! We made numerous trips while we were in San Francisco to have Mariposa, even made sure to allow enough time to grab a quick bite before we went to the airport on our way home. On Thursday, I came home to a package of goodies from Mariposa for my birthday today from my sister and couldn't be happier!!! I'm in New York and can't wait to visit Mariposa the next time I'm in California.

So good! My 2 year old lives gluten free and he had his choice of all kinds of goodies. I really enjoyed the ham and cheese pastry pocket, it was rich and full of flavor.

I was having a very difficult time finding gluten free eateries when visiting California with my family last onto. I was told to visit Mariposa, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The baked goods, from bagels, to soft pretzels, croissants and pain du chocolate were amazing! I would love to broadcast about this incredible piece of gluten free heaven to all my listeners on my podcast!

My husband and I had lunch at the Ferry building store today and it was absolutely delicious! He was very excited to see such a range of gluten free food, which tasted so good too! We would both highly recommend the cinnamon rolls and baguettes! Come to Melbourne, Australia please! We need Mariposa there!

I was in town for a visit and stopped by your booth at the Ferry Building. Everything looked so delicious! I purchased your pumpkin and chocolate chip muffin and was not disappointed. It had all the right notes of pumpkin spice and soft and moist like a regular muffin. So so good!

If I could live outside in the dumpster and just come spend every day here with their delicious gluten-free dairy-free bearclaws, cinnamon rolls, sandwiches, and baguettes...I would. Even though it might be really cold in the winter.

Honestly, if there was a 10 star rating, I'd give them all 10!!! Lost my mind when I found this gem while visiting San Francisco and the Ferry Bldg. AMAZING baked goods-- ALL GLUTEN FREE, scrumptious lunch options AND they deliver! We made two trips back to this lovely spot while we were in town, and if I had more room in my suitcases I would have bought more to take home. If you are in San Fran this is a stop you don't want to miss :-) heaven on earth

All of the treats I have tried from Mariposa were absolutely delectable. I didn't miss the gluten at all. I'm so happy some of my local stores carry some of their bars and filled cup cakes. At their San Francisco Ferry Building location this morning, it was impossible to choose between the chocolate chip pumpkin muffin and the morning muffin, so I got both! They were so scrumptious, before I knew it, I had devoured both of them as I idly meandered through the farmers market.

Mariposa provided some delicious little breakfast cakes for our vocal festival last weekend (SheSings), and I cannot tell you how many times I heard how amazing they were. People were trying to ration themselves because we all just wanted to eat them all! The lemon was to die for and now that I'm back on the east coast, I'm mourning that there will be no more delicious lemon cakes! But if you're lucky enough to be in the area, do yourself a favor and check out their delicious stuff!

Wish there was one close but love the food. Not too happy about the prices either, but I had a lovely filling lunch and no worries, so I guess that is the price I have to pay

I am not generally gluten-free, but thought I'd try it for once. I bought a loaf of the GF multigrain bread and I can't stop eating it. Wonderful flavor and perfect for my breakfast :)

Seeing my 9y old daughter's face light up in front of the sweets case after telling her she can eat ANYTHING in the cafe was priceless and melted my heart. Normally we have a small section of food options at most restaurants and it's nice to have a safe place with lots of choices just for us. Very grateful for this place. Can't wait to go back!

Friendly people, friendly food. Do not be discouraged by trying to find this place, it is worth seeking it out! I was in awe about all of the gluten-free choices they had in the display case and freezer. The "rye" bread is great and the baguette toasts up nicely for bruschetta or the like.
In addition the people who work here are all really friendly and kind.
Be prepared to drop some money in this place, but is worth it. If you like biscotti, buy the "ends and pieces" it is a couple bucks less and still delicious!
They also have a few gluten-free resource guides to look through while you eat your snack. I only wish I lived closer to this place!
