No pretense. Everything you'd want in a range plus a full bar. Two decks, with a couple stalls for a teaching pro. Par 3 course too. Plenty of parking.
This place is awesome! Parking is great, the quantity of balls for the money is fantastic, and the range is two tiered so even on rainy days you can get your practice in. Balls are preloaded into baskets which is super convenient and saves you time. Staff is super friendly and very helpful, it was my first time there and they made me feel very welcome.
The best part is the hours, they are open until 9pm Monday through Saturday, and until 8pm on Sunday. So far this range is open the latest of all ranges in the east bay Berkeley/Oakland area. Awesome place, don't miss it!
This is where I first played a round of golf as a kid 27 years ago. I have some great memories of my dad and I hitting balls at the range and teaching me the game on the little par 3 course. My my wife is starting to pick up the game as well and I think this will be a good first outing after she gets a little more comfortable with her swing. $7 to play the course Mon-Thurs and $9 Fri-Sun. Range balls are a decent price and the double decker driving range is fine. There’s also a tiny little chipping/putting area. The bar and patio gets pretty busy on the weekends but it’s a fun atmosphere. Overall, it’s a fun little spot and worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Montclair Golf Enterprises is a great place to practice your golf game. They have double decks, so there are a lot of bays to go around! I love this place because it is nestled in a canyon filled with trees, it is like I am away from the city life when I am here.
The range is not like the others, you wont expect rolling green grass here, but its still really fun.
The bar/restaurant is awesome, they have alcoholic beverages and a lot of food to pick from. I personally love their bacon cheese burger! just make sure to hear your name when you're hitting haha, save the waitress the trouble.
10/10 would recommend
-i've found my new range :).
Great neighborhood driving range. Solid beer selection. More targets would be nice, but not required, I still love it.
The most rustic Golf Course around apparently the bar is the main draw here driving range is below average and I hear the 9-hole golf course is extremely below-average not bad if you don't mind crabgrass & tumbleweeds
So much charm and character — old school feel that reminds me so much of where I grew up. I always tell friends new to the driving range that this is the OG Top Golf (& it’s so much better than Too Golf). Fun, affordable, group entertainment in the Bay.
