I didn't know that it was a restaurant that serves good pizza.I ordered the 18 " plain cheese pizza it wasn't good. Infact the pizza was absolutely phenomenal. Totally on point the perfect Pizza.
Loved it! It does feel like a backyard and the food is adventurous and fun. Rice bowl with Thai chili and special sauce? Sure, let’s have fun ... it was yummy. Shaved steak and cheese with a side of Mac was awesome as well. Our waitress Teri did an awesome job. Will definitely be back!
What a gem!! We were literally found it as we detoured through Ocala. We had the meatloaf, fish wrap and Mac & cheese. All of it was outstanding! Service was friendly and helpful. It’s a humbly decorated gastro pub in a non assuming strip mall. But just amazing food. This “detour” will definitely become out permanent route!
Had Father's Day lunch after church. Food and service very good, friendly guy waited on us. We had a portobello prime rib burger and a star spangled salad.
In Ocala there is a place that you must go to eat. Trust me on this - cheese bites and garlic knots.
I have been to Brooklyn’s on multiple occasions over the last few years. The food and service is consistently outstanding. Highly recommend.
We have been here several times over the past 6 months since discovering this gem. We have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and attentive and the food is phenomenal. Even my picky eater child will ask if we can eat here when it is family night out.
Service is always great and never had a bad thing on the menu! Love this place.
They are community minded. Also they have great pizza and a peach cobbler dessert with vanilla ice cream that is worth going just for that.

Shout out to Brooklyns Backyard for having so many vegetarian options that are CLEARLY marked with a "V" on the menu!
Also got a Pasta straw as a substitute for a regular straw. Thanks for the Vegetarian & eco friendly options! Will definitely be visiting again soon!
The food was fantastic. I had the St. Croix burger and my wife had the Philly cheesesteak and both were phenomenal. We also got the s’mores that you cook at your table for desert which was a great experience. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very fast. They have a great selection of draft beers to was your food down as well.
My Mom and I had the St. Croix burger. It is enormous! It is so flavorful. You will finish it and be stuffed. My husband got the stromboli. He said it was very good. It was packed when we arrived. The wait was an hour, so we opted to sit outside.
Home cooking. Fresh ingredients. Pure comfort food when it's cooked this good. Quality. Well worth a 30 minute drive from anywhere. The meatloaf is ALSO outta this world with the legit mashed potatoes underneath. Service? Amy was OUTSTANDING in providing superior service. She suggested the menu items as this was our first time (but DEFINITELY not last time) eating here. Brooklyn's Backyard is that diamond in the rough. Don't miss out!
Sat at the bar and had a few beers with some apps and dessert for my daughter. We loved the garlic knots, pierogis, and cheese bread. Mike the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Will be back again when in the area.
We come here at least once a month. We love all the specials they have and the pickle wings are my new favorite. Servers and bar staff are always great. I want to give a thumbs up to everyone.
The ultimate comfort food Mecca of Ocala! My husband and I both had a horrible day and decided to try this place out. The food is amazing, service is great and you truly feel like you’re eating at your friend’s backyard. We ordered cheese bites, wings (dill pickle wings are awesome), the big cheese, edamame and they even have an Angry Orchard burger (pictured below 🍔). The mojito, blueberry mule and Russian are great drinks too.
First time going here with my husband this Sunday afternoon for lunch. The good reviews and healthy food options brought us here. We ordered takeout, a St. Croix well-done burger w/ fries, a Philly cheesesteak w/ fries, and cheese bites. Total with tip was about $53. The whole order took about 20 min to get ready, which was ok since we went grocery shopping at the nearby health food store.

I chose this place because of its many gluten free options. Service was friendly and atmosphere was clean and brought. I ordered the blackened ahi on a gluten free bun with a side salad. It was okay, but it certainly wasn't blackened. And croutons came on my side salad...not an appropriate option for someone who posted a gluten free bun. However, I give them a 4 star because my husband said his burger was the best burger he'd ever eaten, Angry Orchard Burger, and loved the crinkle cut on the sweet potatoe fries.
Brought my dental hygiene class here for our Christmas party and we all had nothing but good things to say about Brooklyns! The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic. Ashlyn did such a great job serving all 22 of us by herself. Not one drink went unfilled and our entire table was in and out within an hour. We were highly impressed! Thank you so much for having us!

Overall we enjoyed our lunch to celebrate my two year olds birthday.
The food was phenomenal. I had the BBQ burger and it was delicious. I ordered sweet potatoes as my side and they were perfect! My husband had the Angry Orchard Burger. Although, it was very greasy he said it was probably the best burger he could ever have.
Our waitress was training another waitress. They were so nice and understanding of our two littles who were a bit wild at times. They even allowed my very picky eater to have his own PBJ from home and were more than polite about it.
All in all this is a great little hole in the wall restaurant on the east side of Ocala. We would definitely come back again.
This place is better than I expected! Had the bowl with chicken and it was so flavorful with all the veggies and sauce. Was very pleased with the survive, the place literally looks like a backyard! Went here on the way back to Florida.

Great food and great service. The inside is so cute! They have the best Philly. As well as a very good country fried chicken. I haven't found one thing I don't like here. It is a must try!

There's few restaurants now a days that inspire an actual family, homey feel when you enter the door and thankfully Brooklyn's Backyard is one of them! Seriously, from the time you step foot inside, you're IN what feels like the best backyard hang-out spot with patio furniture, a tree trunk in the center, a backyard bar and great music.
The atmosphere is downright friendly with helpful and friendly servers. We had the pleasure of having Brooke today and she was amazing.
Great beer and cocktail selections, their menu is filled with familiar favorites and choices that are competitive with artisanal gastropubs!
We had the key west smothered pork fries as a starter which is a LARGE portion so bring some friends! The presentation alone was mouthwatering but the explosion of sweet and savory is delicious.
Lunch was the Truffle Shuffle which smelled heavenly as Brooke walked over with it from the kitchen. It honestly was so beautifully presented with the garlic aioli and truffle oil drizzle but who are we kidding it was ENTICING and we savored every single bite. The dough was perfect, chicken was juicy and not overdone, and the combination of flavors is an absolute delight.
Best pizza in Ocala HANDS DOWN.

Loved it! Got the edamame beans appetizer. Pulled pork fries and pepperoni Stromboli. Portions where huge. Quality was great. Exploding with flavor. Our server, Sarah, was attentive and glasses where always full. One thing I can not stand is always having to ask for a refill. Will absolutely be back soon!
Great experience - great food - great family. We found this place a few years ago and loved their pizza. We were family and one of my nephews suggested this location. We were seated in the corner under the umbrella. We got the Garlic Knots for an appetizer! Wow, sprinkled in Garlic cloves and powder, drizzled in butter. So delicious that you can make a meal out of it. There were 6 knots and a small tub of marinating sauce in the middle of the plate. My wife and I ordered the Anti-pasta salad. This salad was packed with meat that was sliced. The best Anti-pasta salad I ever tasted. To wrap it up, we ordered the Truffle Shuffle Pizza, which is your basic White pizza drizzled in truffle oil. We was cooked to perfection. Natasha took excellent care of us and we finished stuffed and with leftovers.
Pizza was good, had the BBQ pizza with extra fried onions.. didn't care for the sour mix they used in my whiskey sour but wasn't terrible. The service was on the slower side.
