Absolutely fantastic. I had fried chicken, okra, collards & split pea soup. Nothing was frozen—even the okra. Honestly, some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. They even opened the doors for us—I hadn’t realized they were closed. Reasonable prices, too. Just in town briefly with the Globetrotters, but will remember this place when I’m back in town next year. Thanks ladies for making us feel welcome!
Comfy atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was good and I will be going back. The only complaint was that their marina sauce was week, good but bland. Needed spices to perk it up. Hamburger was cooked perfect but could have used salt and pepper while being cooked. I will recommend this place.
Awesome little family restaurant. We were just driving around & happen to see it while stopped at the red light. The service was great, everyone very friendly. The food is good, you receive nice sized portions and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed it very much and have went back even though it's quite a drive from home to there. They have an all you can eat fish dinner that is the best I've ever had. My hubby enjoyed the steak he had.
Food was good. But the people stared at us when we got there. We felt out of place. Then again we were the only Hispanics in the place.
Went for the first time about 10am on a Saturday. They let us order whatever we wanted breakfast or lunch which was really nice. The ranch is really good. Everything our party ordered we liked. Will be back.
Food was very good, with generous portions. Service left a bit to be desired. Our waitress served salad at the same time as the meal & left the check. She then went to visit with another customer, never to return. It wasn't busy, & they had lots of staff but I picked the wrong table. I will give them one more chance.
Outstanding bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll, with a slice of tomato. The tea was very fresh. Service was cordial and helpful without being overbearing. This place is totally unassuming and we would have passed it if we hadn't been running out of options, but glad we stopped in.
