Possibly the best pizza in New Jersey... maybe even the entire United States. Been coming here since I was six years old, and even though it has changed owners over the last few decades, the pizza and atmosphere is still the best.
Perfect crust, toppings, and sauce. You couldn't ask for a better pizza by the beach.
Staff is always friendly - even when they are super busy.
Tip: Order a whole pie... you can do half-n-half as well. Pizzas are all made fresh to order. You can't go wrong.

Its 2023 the worlds on fire thats the only reason things seem to be getting so expensive. In that context, $25 for a custom pie aint bad.
Personally wanted the philly cheese steak pizza, no discretion or picture so im taking care of that.
Its basically a pizza stake.. but in pie form. It's not bad.
If you're looking to try different places when in Ocean city, i would say try it.
We came here last year at the recommendation of our friends. Loved it so much we came back the next day. This year, we didn't wait to unpack and went straight to Preps. Yep, still delicious!
Very good pizza and a solid option to enjoy on the boardwalk. If you were to compare this to the other very popular boardwalk pizzeria the biggest difference in my opinion is the sauce at preps is far superior and their competitors have a very salty sauce. Great service as well
This pizza is probably the best pizza I've had in Ocean city. The service is great, prices are awesome, good seating and most importantly the pizza is amazing, the crust is divine and perfectly cooked pizza. All around amazing! Highly recommended going here
Had an amazing pizza here at preps , me and my boyfriend both enjoyed the ambiance and vibr of this place over all it was a bit crowded but everything was fast and hot when it came to us. Our server was nice didn’t say much but still very upbeat and positive , everyone worked like a team! The pizza was incredible, crunchy bottom soft top ! The presentation was just awesome ! I 100/10 recommend this establishment if you are looking for good quality pizza !
Always LOVE Preps! But has something changed?? This past weekend ordered 2 pies to go after an event at the Music Pier. $22 each, got them home, and both were way over-done, black and burned on bottoms. And pizza seemed doughier than we remember. Will give another chance, but hopefully they haven't changed in some way, cause this was nastiness.
The food was great. I enjoyed it a lot. However the crust was too hard in my personal opinion but not necessarily something they did wrong so I still strongly suggest it.
This place has great pizza. Very good crust. Was going to Mancos for years, but found out recently that Prep’s is better. Friendly service too.
We have been going to preps since I was a kid. It’s been a really rough year with inflation and it was nice being able to eat at preps. This is one of the only pizza places on the boardwalk that offers affordable family friendly pricing with great service.
We have ate there three times this week. We usually get pepperoni pizza or white ricotta. The Stromboli’s are good as well. We had the pepperoni bread and it was filled with cheese and pepperoni. The sauce was really good too. The pizza is crispy and thin. It has a perfect cheese to sauce ratio.
It’s really good boardwalk pizza and it’s nice getting in and out of there!
The best pizza on the boardwalk. Clean very friendly and so accommodating. Had a great time there. The ice cream was so reasonable and delicious.
This place has the best Pizza in my opinion 9n the Boardwalk. I've been searching for a cheesy, crispy crust pizza for a few years now and they have it. It's so delicious and the customer service was excellent. This is my new favorite spot in Ocean City.
Pizza is always good, and so is the ice cream.

Has been one of my favorite pizza places for over 35 years. Just wish they were open year 'round. It may be the cheese that makes this pizza. Dough is not too thick and the sauce is not acidic or too sweet. Get a slice the next time you are on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. 🍕
The sauce is sweeter than most in the area, and on the boardwalk. The tradition seems to be putting the sauce on in a spiral pattern.
9.9/10 this pizza has traveled back to NEPA ( near Wilkes-Barre, PA)

Yo this place is low-key– Never mind hi-key the best pizza place I’ve ever been to. Get the Hawaiian pizza. It’s my favorite. The broccoli one is really good as well, and even just the plain cheese! Idk overall the pizza is just delicious. They need to become a chain business like McDonald’s or Domino’s or whatever. But better. The ice cream is good too, but on the boardwalk here I like to get Kohr Bros because it’s soft serve. No offense Preps.
Pizza was good but I just didn't like the lack of flavor in the crust and it was just too crispy for me as well.

Best pizza on the boardwalk. Watch it being made right in front of you while you take respite from the sun and wind coming off the boardwalk. Go ahead and order the whole pie, because you'll want to eat it again before you leave. Great crust that's thin, chewy, and crunchy. Perfect!
