Quick service and friendly staff. Lobster roll was pure lobster however we each had a tiny bit of shell in our roll but no big deal! Some of the lobster pieces seemed a tiny bit over cooked and would have liked more butter or extra on the side which I will ask for next time. Each roll was $22 and comes with a bag of kettle chips.
I haven’t been to sandwich bar in a few years so I finally got around to trying it again. The ingredients are always super fresh. The sandwiches are delicious. Cutlet hoagie is my personal favorite. Make sure you get there early though- they tend to run out of stuff during the height of summer because they get very busy. Definitely recommend their sandwiches!
Never had a bad sandwich here. Had the hot cutlet which had a really great Buffalo flavor. Cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve had at the shore and lobster roll is overflowing with chunk lobster meat. The bread on the sandwiches is great. If they don’t answer their phone just go there an order.

We are also in love with their sumptuous lobster roll - wow! The roast pork is absolutely delicious as well. The fresh cut fries are an added delightful bonus.

This is the best sandwich spot in Ocean City New Jersey. I was told about this place from friends on the West Coast and ended up staying two blocks away. Let’s just say they kept me and my girlfriend well fed all week. If you’re coming to Ocean City stop by and try it out. It’s well worth it! - See ya guys tomorrow on our way out.
Ordered the lobster roll and the chicken cutlet hoagie w/herbed mayo. BEST lobster roll I’ve ever had - pure lobster meat, no fillers, and unlike most places, it wasn’t covered w gloppy mayo. The chicken cutlet was very tasty - loved the seeded bread they served it on! The cook takes pride in his craft and it definitely shows through.
Got the lobster roll and a cutlet hoagie. They were both the BEST I’ve ever had!!!!!! Definitely call ahead because they get busy but for good reason!!!! 10000000% worth any wait. Gonna come back every weekend!!!!

My favorite place to go when I come to the jersey shore. One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had! The lobster rolls are also to die for. I look forward to coming here every summer. Amazing staff too.
PHENOMENAL…It’s called an UNCLE JIMMY (Cheesesteak w/ Long Hots)…..EVERYTHING on the menu is great.

Absolute gem hole in the wall sandwich shop, an ocean city staple! My favorites (clearly hard to pick just one) are the chicken cutlet and long hots, classic Italian combo, cheese steak and lobster roll. Don't forget their hand cut fries! They are the best around and are always busy so call early!!
The Sandwich Bar is an excellent, family-run take-out restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is fast and friendly! The chicken cutlet with the long hots is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! When you're in OC, this is a must stop!
Great cheesesteak. Wife got cutlet hoagie and loved it. The seeded rolls are excellent and the Half and Half drink is really good too. Great lunch spot.
Hour long wait on a Saturday after ordering was totally worth it—recommend calling in that far in advance if you can’t just hang on the beach to wait like we did.
Been wanting to try for a while. Got the lobster roll and the roast pork. The lobster roll had big chunks of claw meat and minced lobster meat mixed in. Absolutely phenomenal.
The roast pork was juicy and flavorful. Recommend long hots for some nice flavor and heat.
Highly recommend, can’t wait to try the other offerings.
