Just had one delicious meal at Kenny Ward's in Ocean Springs. From the 1st Lemon Drop Martini, to the Creme Brulee;, appetizer of grilled oysters and 8 oz. fillet with grilled asparagus and the 2nd lemon drop martini!!! Thank you Butch Gager for a lovely dinner. We should go back sometime.
Also loved the ambience, wait staff, bartender and thank you Kenny for greeting your first guests of the evening.
My family took me for an early father's day meal to Kenny Ward's tonight. The ribeye steaks were delicious and tender, grilled shrimp was awesome and my daughter said the crab au gratin was excellent. They were very accommodating of our handicapped son and he thoroughly enjoyed his chicken and potato wedges. We will be going back and highly recommend Kenny Ward's, PS-It's a little pricey for a family of four, but worth every penny!!
So happy Kenny Wards is back!! I’ve dreamed about his bacon wrapped scallops since he closed downtown. Already been twice since reopening and it’s still as amazing as i remembered. One of the best places in Ocean Springs.

This is a fantastic new restaurant in Ocean Springs. We sampled a variety of things and each and everyone was great. From the drinks, appetizer, salad, main entrée, and banana fosters dessert we were greeted with top-of-the-line fair. It’s small, but very well put together. You need to go and experience Kenny Ward’s.

Walked in and got a table. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was DELICIOUS!! Had a filet and the asparagus and it was cooked perfect. The chocolate cake is AMAZING!! Will definitely be back!!
This is one of our go to places for exceptional food and great service. Ryan waited on us last visit where we had marinated crab claws and lobster stuffed eggs as appetizers and then dined on exquisite crab cakes, Halibut tri-fecta, and steak that melted in my mouth. In addition - bread to die for. Can’t go wrong with a visit to Kenny Wards

Best Steak on the Gulf Coast, hands down. Kenny puts his heart & soul into every dish he makes starting with his mother’s Italian Bread. You HAVE got to try it! Never disappoints and the quality of food is always the best. Oh and the HAPPY HOUR! 1/2 off chargrilled oysters and $5 martinis! Amazing!
Such a charming and intimate atmosphere is found at Kenny Ward's . I enjoy romantic dinners here with my husband. Each table is beautifully set with a long stem red rose and tealight candles.
A few warm slices of Italian bread, baked with salami and Asiago cheese inside, and dipped in seasoned olive oil, is just the beginning of a scrumptious dinner. The bread pairs perfectly with a cup of crab soup or crab cakes.
A more tender, juicy ribeye will be found nowhere else. I know because I always steal a bite or two off of my sweetheart's plate. I usually opt for a trifecta fish dish or the lighter lobster ravioli with Honduran lobster tail. I've also had the very filling chicken alfredo.

Kenny just opened back up about 3 months ago after being closed for years. He's at a new location in Ocean Springs on Hwy 90, It's a very small venue that seats about 30 people with a wet bar in the front. So if you plan on dining be sure to call ahead to get a table. Kenny personally makes the menu and cooks the orders himself, all to perfection.
My wife and I have eaten here about 7 times now and we intend to keep coming back. The food is amazingingly good, well prepared, and presented. Kenny puts his heart into each order and has never cooked my steak or fish not to my liking. He personally comes out to check on you as well. Often we've had Noah greet and seat us, as well as wait on us. He's always very attentive. The entire staff is pleasant and willing to help out.
If you're looking for a good steak or seafood in Ocean Springs be sure to put Kenny Ward's at the top of your 'to-dine-at' list.

This weekend I took my Wife out to dinner for her birthday, and I wanted to make it special. I already knew that we'd have to come to Kenny's because the food and service has been very good since first dining. I called a couple of days ahead and made reservations and told Lindsey that it was my wife's birthday and they really made it a special evening for her. I got her an entire loaf of Nana's Italian bread which is her favorite. She's probably at home eating some as I write this review (hah). I want to mention that Kenny has modified his menu some by adding new items to it, and adjusting some of the prices. So he has some items that compare in price to most chain restaurants, but the quality and creativity of flavor is still far superior to anything else you'll find on the gulf coast.
The next time I visit I'm trying a new item on his menu which is an 6oz Filet Burger that is covered in caramelized onions and applewood cheddar cheese, and a special house made aioli between a crustini bun, served with house fries seasoned in sea salt ($15). He also does a Grouper sandwich like this for the same price.
My wife had the Lobster Raviloli with Lobster tail and baked potato. He has increased the amount of ravilolis in the dish. (thumbs up!) Each time I visit I try to take new photos of our plates to add here.
I just want to state that I am in no way affiliated with Kenny Ward's, I'm just a patron who has been there at least 8 times now in 2018 and have not had a single bad experience. And as much as I eat out (way more than I write about) the food is far above the bar compared to any place else I've eaten, both fine dining, and chain. I don't know what happened in 2011 and 2012, but he had a lot of bad reviews. He's back and so far it seems any issues he had back then have been corrected. I implore anyone reading those old reviews not persuade your decision from coming here. Try it for yourself first.

Expensive but excellent food. Was staying at a casino in Biloxi not too long ago and Kenny Wards was recommended to us. Short drive over the bridge into Oceansprings from Biloxi. The decorating is ok, nice table setups but seems like it's missing something. bar was small but it had some charm. The service was very good but we were one of two tables dining that evening.(too muggy to eat outside however the patio is nice) Great wine selection and their martini menu is great. I think the menus could be updated, they're huge pieces of plastic like what you get at waffle house.
Appetizers: Dozen chargrilled oysters(AWESOME!), crab cake(AWESOME!) Entrees: (me) Surf and turf with grilled scallops which were wrapped in bacon with some sort of crab blue cheese drizzle. steak was cooked perfectly mid rare and scallops were amazing. (wife) Stuffed flounder stuffed with crab cake and shrimp cream sauce on top. WOW the meal was excellent!! we shared a portabello mushroom and asparagus. both pretty good.
overall the expreience was fantastic. prices are high but the quality of the food is also very high. would be good for special occasions. althoug next time we visit Biloxi i will return (if the casinos don't take my money!!!!!)

Had a great time! Grilled lemon fish with softshell crab was excellent! Char broiled oysters and crab soup were very good too!
Great service. Crab dishes had plenty of lump crab meat. Steak was great and prepared just right. Small lobster tail was wonderful. Bananas Foster was a great way to finish. Didn't mind the cost as all was well worth it. Highly recommend.
Always a good experience. I have always had a great experience at Kenny Wards....Steaks are outstanding....and everything else we have tried has been very good....I think the new outdoor area will be very enjoyable in cooler weather..
As Good As It Gets. This place has some of the best food on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The steaks are outstanding, seafood perfect and the speciality dishes are remarkable. Best Crab Cakes on the coast. The have a steak called a carpetbagger that is one of a kind. The service is over the top. I asked for a special wine for my wife. They did not have it so they went and got it. The price is high but this is worth every penny.
First I’ll start with the food is amazing one of the best steaks I have had! My wife had the shrimp Alfredo! Super service and when I say that we just popped in for dinner, we didn’t have a reservation, the place was packed Mr. Kenny himself not having to at all but said he was short handed and was so sorry about not having a table about that time a waitress pulled up, he insisted we return inside to be seated. What he didn’t know is it was my wife and I first break to have a date in a while! Thank you so much!
Everything was really good. It fell short of great and 5 stars because the deviled eggs were missing something. The egg flavor overpowered the stuffing. The salads were fantastic! The pecan vinaigrette on the side salad was wow! The grilled romaine salad was a great surprise, I highly recommend it. The lump crab soup was awesome! The prime rib fell short of expectations. The flavor just wasn't there. Overall it was a great experience and the staff was great. Better than most other restaurants we go to.
Marlo was a fantastic waitress. The food was delicious and we will definitely be going back. Prime rib so tender. Oh yeah they have a bread before all this that was yummy.
I am trying to find the words to describe my experience here. I rarely leave reviews, but I could not go without posting my experience here. Dinning out these days can be a hit and miss, but this is some of the best food I have had in a long time. Customer service was excellent, the waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and could recommend items to try. The food was mouth watering. Starting with the bread to the crab claws, to my steak right down to the bake potato, everything was fresh and sizzling hot. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a delicious tender steak that was seasoned to perfection.
Best steaks and seafood on the Gulf Coast! Kenny Ward’s is our all time absolute favorite restaurant and we’ve been all over the world. Everything he cooks is fantastic. You can select anything on his menu and you will be thrilled when you taste it. He does everything with excellence from soup to dessert! You haven’t really experienced the best of Ocean Springs until you’ve been to Kenny Ward’s!

We have driven by this place for years and it’s always reminded me of the old Steak Houses in Hollywood where I grew up!
We read the reviews for this steak house. While we’re we’re excited to have a nice steak, the tipping point for us was honestly the prior review about the deviled eggs (at a steak house👌😂🥸).
WE LOVED THE DEVILED EGGS!
Ordering the 16oz rib eye medium is a MUST !!! It comes on a sizzling plate and perfectly to temp!!!
The crab claws are incredible- actually, the best I have had since Sal and Judy’s !
The wine selection was perfect. The onion rings and spinach were tremendous.
The Italian cream cake reminded me of Little Italy in NYC❤️. Please treat yourself to this!!!
And THE SERVICE FROM THE MOMENT WE STEPPED IN THE DOOR WAS TREMENDOUS!

The food and atmosphere were great. Had Devon as our waitress and she was phenomenal. Thought the preparation she did for us was great for the banana foster which I didn’t expect at all. She brought out a cart and made it there for us, definitely give it a try !
