This is our favorite place to eat with our family! The beautiful location in the harbor is in the middle of where we all live, but we can reserve a place in line via the "No Wait App." Our picky 90-year-old loves it best ... the food and the awesome customer service ... and even with a bit of a wait due to Father's Day, it was worth it!! Never a bad meal, and the coffee cake melts in your mouth.
This little place is awesome and a hidden gem. We've been there numerous times for breakfast and the food and service is top notch. The outside patio is dog friendly and offers great views of the harbor.
This place is awesome! I wish they had one in St Paul, MN so I could be a regular; highly recommended. I had an amazing omelette, and my boyfriend had the best French toast I've ever tasted. Everything was fresh, generous portion sizes, and a beautiful presentation. This breakfast joint knocks it out of the park. Will definitely be going back while I'm in town.
Had lunch there yesterday with my husband. I ordered fish and chips and when I got my order I noticed the batter on the fish was way underdone. I couldn’t eat more than one piece.. So I let our server know and they took my meal off of our bill, the manager (I didn’t get his name) came out shortly afterwards and apologized. He was EXTREMELY accommodating and very very nice. He even offered us a free coffee cake!
I rated 5 stars because I have had their food on other occasions and it was really tasty, so that’s why I figured it might have just been a slip up with the fish. I’m really satisfied with the service we got. We will be going there more often
The atmosphere is nice too.
Our favorite place for breakfast. Best food, great service and wonderful atmosphere eating on the patio overlooking Oceanside Harbor.
Great So Cal classic breakfast menu with friendly wait staff! The view of the harbor while sharing a Sunday morning cocktail with the fam... perfect!
Food is delicious, beautiful location, friendly staff and good service. Josh the owner is always there, working hard, that tells me he cares a lot about his business and customers. Oh and the coffee cake is to die for!
Great food, great service and fabulous view. The coffee cake is to die for. And loved the Chilaquiles Jalisco. Will definitely return.
Great location in the harbor with a great view in their patio dining area. Also delicious coffee cake.
Loved this place. Food was great and the coffee cake is to die for. Will definitely go back next time we are there.
Very nice people. The food is Outstanding! The prices are great, especially because of the harbor view. My Wife and I love this special place.
I went to this restaurant to eat brunch with my husband. I didn’t expect it to be different then other regular restaurants where you sit down and a waiter comes to you. You have to order your food and sit down and then it’s brought to you and a waiter or waitress doesn’t check on you again. But overall I had a good time and the food was pretty delicious. I been dying to come to this restaurant and I finally came. I do recommend this place to anyone.
Very good spot that makes everyone feel like a local! We loved our meal and everything about the spot! Food was phenomenal and just simple classics! The coffee was not the greatest. I would have enjoyed a more classic cup of dinner coffee.
Yum yum! Family and I had brunch here Sunday afternoon right after church.
It very much a self-serve style which surprised us. You seat yourself and then head up to the counter to get a menu/order; You then get a number after ordering and they bring the food to the table for you.
Food came out at just the right time and it’s worth the wait. We got Chilaquiles, a breakfast burrito and kids pancakes. Chilaquiles were flavorful and fresh. Burrito was huge and packed with a perfect blend of everything! We got the seasoned potatoes on the side and they were delish!! Daughter loved the fluffy pancakes.
Overall Stratford proved to be a great place to eat with friends for a flavorful and relaxed breakfast/brunch at the harbor. Looking forward to going back again!

The first time ever going to this place I'm very skeptical because it's in a tourist zone obviously the view is gorgeous right in front of them right now can't beat that this place seems to be new because every other restaurant is pretty broken down and ugly you get in line and you pay before you sit the breakfast was actually really good most places mess up simple things but they hit it right on the nail nothing was undercooked nothing was overcooked and I like how the food had the spice to it because we are in San Diego my fiance enjoyed her meal as well definitely a place to check out if we had more time in San Diego we definitely go back again thank you for taking the time to read my short review 😎
The restaurant has incredibly kind employees. We came with a group of 9 and they served us quickly and efficiently. The food was good but not amazing (the reason for 4 stars). The price is high. For two breakfast plates, plus a drink and side of toast, the total came to the $45 mark.
The atmosphere was nice and clean. The restaurant wasn’t to hot and overall, a great experience!
Busy, we had a reservation and were seated within 5 min of arrival. Many waited 45+ for a table.
We opted for savory (hash) and sweet (French toast) and shared. The hash was chock full of corned beef. French toast with the crust was delish.
Tight squeeze on the table eat the sidewalk but it worked. Lots of foot traffic for the boat charters so its buys and not a quiet romantic spot :)
Service was good and would return again.
Today we tried this place for the very first time for breakfast. Let me tell you it was totally amazing! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Hot, fresh and made to order. We tried two dishes, one being the chilquiles and the other the country fried steak and eggs. Both were very flavorful. The view was lovely with the boats docked in the harbor. The weather was perfect. They have heaters on their patio area if needed. We highly recommend this spot for breakfast and we’re already planning our next visit.
Given all the prices going up if you are looking for a really good breakfast (the coffee cake YUM!) place, come here. This is my go to place in Oceanside. A variety of coffee, the corn beef hash is a little crunchy and so flavorful.
Love the music here too.
