It was very reasonably priced. It is a nice little snapshot of history with some really cool thjng s to watch and observe. The massive locomotives are really cool. The building is also very cool and this is a great location to take wedding photos. The train history is very interesting. It’s very quiet and your kids will love it.
Worth a visit if you like the history of the railway. Amazing to see the huge diesel engines, the coal fired engines. These are the units that built the country. Small fee charged to see certain exhibits, but worth it. The old car section is amazing.
When you come visit Ogden, this place should be on your list if you're interested in learning the history and to see an original train. There were 4 small museums inside (I think we paid few bucks each to access them) but worth it! We also enjoyed the vintage cars display!
We had a good time learning about Ogden City here. 🙂
Union Station has 5 museums in 1 location! Alot to walk through with the family. Hands-on activities too for little ones. Volunteers available if you have questions. Affordable too!
They really do a good job of keeping this place in great shape. It is a pleasure to visit here. Only one thing. You can't see the inside of the trains until warm weather, or May, they say, so be advised. You can see a lot of history in three museums, The Railway museum, The Browning Arms Museum, and the Classic Cars. All for 7 dollars while supporting a great effort to preserve these fantastic historical items.
I was there for the day of the dead celebration (dia de los muertos) 2023. It was a lot of fun!
Great place to spend the day. We got you see the inside of a Medic and Postal train, plus the Car and Gun Museum
An antique car exhibit, train exhibit, cowboy showcase, and the John Moses Browning museum all located in a historic train station in Ogden. This is an incredibly cool place to check out and spend a few hours. I was really impressed with everything.
Such a cool museum! It is an old.trsi. station that now houses 3 collection museums. The train museum is the largest and super informative and interesting. The Browning gun section is also extensive. The Browning family has a large and beautiful collection of early model cars. Volunteers were so helpful and friendly.
Such great museums. We appreciate all the helpful docents who shared so much good information with us. For $7 a person you get a train museum, western museum, car museum and Browning gun museum. You learn a lot about Ogden and Utah history and it is definitely worth a visit.
