This restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment I stepped foot through those doors, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance was nothing short of stunning, with a perfect balance of traditional Thai elegance and warm hospitality. It appears that the owner takes great care to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation area. I felt welcomed, and the staff was attentive but never intrusive. The menu is a combination of dishes from regions throughout Thailand. I recommend Basil Fried Rice and Tom Kha Kai. The Thai tea was spot-on, enhancing the entire meal.
this is an elegant thai dining experience. the ambiance is calm and immaculately balanced. one feels at peace inside due to the buddhist decor that promotes peaceful feeling. i was a bit confused about the curry. we had fried spring rolls for appetizer and the small portion only had 3 spring rolls. i had red curry with chicken and it wasnt red in terms of color. my girlfriend had curry also albeit a different type and it was more red than my curry. i asked for 2/5 spiciness and it wasnt spicy at all it was actually very mild in flavor. her curry was 3/5 spiciness and it hardly had any spiciness. the menu was so well written we were expecting a major culinary experience but to my surprise the food was rather underwhelming. both our curry had watery consistency and i am not sure if this is the standard for thai curry. japanese curry is like gravy except thicker in viscosity. indian curry is also thicker in viscosity. strangely the curry here is watery and thin. i enjoyed the dining experience but nothing really impressed me when it comes to the food. the decor and ambiance is five stars and service equally elegant.
Massaman and Drunken Noodles is absolutely exceptional! Very clean. Sweet folks and great service. Fresh flowers every time.
Delicious food made to personal request for spice level. The atmosphere is wonderful and everything we had was fantastic. We also tried the mango rice dessert and it was absolutely delightful!
While the portion of the Drunken Noodle and Teriyaki Chicken we ordered were smaller than other restautants, the flavors were on point. And like some customers have suggested, if you enjoy their Iced Thai Tea, order the bottled version as you get about 2.5 servings. Service was prompted but that's probably because we were the only customers right when they opened at 11am. Nevertheless, we enjoy the food and ambience in this hole-in-the-wall establishment that has been around for many years now.
I’ve ordered take out and eaten in the restaurant twice and they have never disappointed me! The wait staff is very helpful and friendly and the service is quick but not too quick that the food comes out wrong/bad. I have always gotten exactly what I wanted so it is the perfect place to go if you want good Thai food quickly!
A gem in oklahoma City. A friend took me here. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have tried it myself. I would have missed out food is great.
Delicious & authentic! Flavor never disappoints at Sala. Unique collectables & sauces for purchase make this a must visit!
I have come and order Pad Thai Noodles. The taste is great, authentic Thai flavor. The place is clean with nice decor give a clam feeling makes me enjoy food even more. The waitress is friendly. Hope to come for drunken noodles next time.
*Review for vegetarian (vegan) dishes*
Since the day we found out that they are preparing their curry in coconut milk and has dedicated options for vegetarian/vegan people, it’s coming out to be our one of the best go to place for Thai.
The staff is very courteous. (5/5)
Food quality (5/5)
Serving speed (5/5)
Don’t forget to order their signature thai tea (opt for a bottle) if you are sharing with someone - it’s worth.
It was our 3rd visit and this time we ordered basil fried rice and potato curry. Both were super amazing.
They are new in town. Go for it guys…
Whenever I crave pad Thai... this is the pad Thai that I want! This place is adorable, obviously a lot of heart and soul was put in buy the owner. The atmosphere is so pleasant, cheerful and peaceful. I don’t get to eat here often because it over an hour away but if I find myself “in the city” wanting Thai this is where I go. On my most recent trip, as usual, the service was great. The food was delicious. No problems, no issues.
For my fat friends: This place has a variety of seating and I had no problems being comfortable as a person of size. Also found the bathroom to be easily accessible.
The spring rolls are exquisite. My red curry trout was very flavorful. Soups are so-so. Jasmine tea was light.
The best Thai food available in the city!! Friendly wait staff, great atmosphere, and incredible food. Do not pass by without stopping in, you'll thank me.
They are just the sweetest that could be. The food is always great and consistent. I always get a level 5 spice and they make it perfect every time.
From the entry of the restaurant, the authenticity is visually captivating. The food is priced so well and the FOOD you have to try for yourself. My wife and I came here on our 2 year anniversary and we had drunken noodles and ginger Thai chicken. Thank us later!!!! Best Thai food in OKC !
This is THE perfect place for tasty treats! Vegetarian friendly with a refreshing atmosphere! The staff are top notch and the service is excellent! AN ABSOLUTE TREASURE!
