Mac and cheese was okay. There was actually too much cheese and not enough flavoring. The service was a bit lacking considering we were one out of 3 tables there at the time. Appetizers were okay, nothing special. Beer selection was niceZ
Wonderful wait staff. Good beer. Excellent sunny day patio space! I have not eaten the food here but based on what I overheard from other guests the food is delightful.
Great atmosphere and staff. The mac n cheese was awesome. The sandwiches sound amazing on paper but my husband and I were a little underwhelmed. Great beers on tap. Would definitely give email another shot, if only for the mac n cheese.
Slaughters hall is a delicious addition to deep deuce. I thought it was a bit pricy to add $2 to your meal if you want to sub French fries or potato salad for the chips when the sandwiches already range from 9-15$ BUT the sandwiches are REALLY good. $3 mimosas is a plus for brunching and I like that they have a patio. We enjoyed the southwest philly, Cuban porker and cheese fries. We pretty much devoured everything except the potato salad. I won't say the potato salad is bad, it's just different. Our service was great and we will definitely be back.
Stumbled upon this place, and happy about it. Very laid back vibe, and the food had a bit of a newer take on some classics. Definitely recommend the Fire Mac. I'll be back for sure.
My wife and I stopped in before a Thunder game. Ben was the bartender and the host and the server--and he rocked it. The place seems to run very efficiently. The deviled eggs were killer as was my Triple Decker sandwich and the wife's Santa Fe Chicken sandwich. Less than 5.0 because they were out of the beer I wanted...on a Thursday night. Womp womp.
Have ordered from here a couple of times & picked it up to bring back to the office - the tomato soup is really good! In fact, everything everyone here at work has gotten we have really, really enjoyed. Several different sandwiches, mac & cheese, fries with meat & gravy (not sure what the menu name is) - all tasty! The reason I didn't give S.H. a 5 is because their service is inconsistent. Sometimes they're all over it & able to get you in & out...sometimes, we've had to wait a while for the to-go orders. Went today to dine-in and they were shorthanded. Waited, waited and waited....no one ever checked on us, waited on us or even brought us menus. After 15 minutes we left. Our company VP is coming to town next week and I recommended this place; however, going to have to rethink that. I think a group of 15 people for dinner probably wouldn't be a good idea here. Make no mistake - I'll be back because the food is awesome, but never when I'm in a hurry of any kind :) Oh, forgot to mention: A waitress/bartender did thank us for coming in today as we were leaving lol, so that was nice.
Great sandwichs. Get the double decker. Do it do it
I ordered the Carolina Porker - the sauce had a little kick. It had slaw and fried onion strings on potatoes bread. My husband the Reuben. We both cleaned our plates. They smoke/cure the meat on location. The place has a cool history. Ask about it. Love Love Love! Awesome! Fantastic! Check it out.
Slaughtered by great Sandwich!. I ordered the piping hot Reuben Sandwich/Fries today for lunch and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and the modern urban ambiance was pleasing. I enjoyed learning about the historical significance of Dr. Slaughter and the old photos on the walls. Looking forward to sampling the halls of beers on tap in the evening.
Love love love, but I’m all also a Mac n’ cheese lover. Staff were incredibly friendly and their chili is top notch! They have a great selection of mac and cheese that I’m excited to continue to explore. Great place!
Amazing Mac and cheese, great drinks and atmosphere. I had the banh mi and it was good but alittle too sweet
This place is the worst. Everything on their menu sounds delicious, so it takes forever to pick your food. The food comes out promptly and then you find it actually is delicious. And fresh! The nerve...
(Almost) every beer Is amazing. And worst of all, the servers are upbeat and attentive. Those who seek mediocre dining should look elsewhere.
If you want a proper Reuben Sandwich, made with Russian dressing the way it's supposed to be, look no further.
We had been traveling via airplane all day, taking two hops to get to OKC, and hadn't eaten. We were in terrible need of some hot chow. The food here was very good and did the trick. The nice accent was the soothing Frank Sinatra music. Very nice experience. Half-price appetizers and local craft beer sure helped, too.
The bar staff are really friendly. They have great drinks there as well. I've only tried their chicken nachos, but as good as far as I can tell. I would definitely come back for the drinks.
Girlfriend and I ate here on an Oktoberfest promotional day and the food was delicious and paired great with the beers on tap.
We started with the Dip Trio which is pimento cheese, caramelized onion dip, and hummus. All 3 of these were great, and that caramelized onion dip was great.
We ate the special which was bratwurst with caramelized onions and sauerkraut with a side of potato salad. Everything was really good. Will definitely enjoy more beers and food here.
This place was recommended by the Aloft Hotel where I was staying just a block away. Oh man was I happy they did. This place was AWESOME. I loved the microbrews, and food was reasonable and out of this world. You have to try their Fire Mac 'n Cheese, you won't regret it. I also had ordered their Southwest Philly sandwich, which was amazing as well. The place has a nice feel to it, and everyone working there is friendly. I was visiting from Houston, TX to see a concert at The Criterion, which is within walking distance, so if you're looking for grub before a concert, then walk it off, this is your place. Of course I'd recommend it even if there weren't a concert. Good think I don't live in OKC otherwise I'd be eating here three times a week and watching my waist expand.
Fresh food, and the taste shows how much they care. This was my families first time and won't be our last. The chef even came out and greeted his tables which I thoroughly enjoyed. It's an amazing place and you should give it a try!! Proud to have this place here!! Thank you for the great experience.

Started a new job like a block away and have come by a few times for lunch. Really fantastic food and friendly service.
Not too busy around lunch, which I can't figure out because this place is great!
The Uncle Joe's Lunchbox is the perfect lunch, especially on these cold winter days. :)
Just happened across Slaughter's while trying to find some lunch during work. The place is phenomenal! I had one of the mac and cheese dishes that blew my mind and my coworker was quite impressed with the sandwich he ordered. I will definitely be coming back when I'm working in the area again.
Easy to find parking. The most amazing mac n cheese. Great beer selection. Bottomless mimosas at brunch. Really calm environment. It was a great find. Deli and beer in one place. It was awesome. And the staff was great
Atmosphere, service, and drinks were all excellent. The food was underwhelming. Dry meat, sides were a little bland. No sauce on sandwiches, which kinda made a The meat seem even more dry. Mac and cheese was really good though.
Awesome mac and cheeses, and a good rotating beer list. Its always kind of loud and a bit too sports bar-ish for me (WSKY is also theirs next door and more my speed).
So...Here is the thingy dingy with Slaughter's Hall...THEY HAVE THE BEST DEVILED EGGS THIS SIDE OF SATAN'S OWN KITCHEN!! I have been paid and bribed in their eggs. Others than that the sandwiches are inventive and delicious. The beer selection is more IPA than anything, but seems like they rotate a lot which keeps things fresh for repeat visits.
I didn't think I would like the BBQ mac & cheese, but it was really very good! A large serving for a reasonable price, too. Beer selection was good, too.
Very strong drinks, and very creative eats. It's a hipster dive, so if that's not your scene, don't go. But they have big televisions to play games, and solid service.
The best mac and cheese in the city. Sandwich options are great, as well as the beer selection. This is my go-to place in the CBD to grab food before shows at Criterion/AMC.
One of my favorite lunch spots. Or late night mac and cheese. Great food and is definitely above being a "deli." Plus they have 25 beers on tap, alot of which are local!
