Great place to eat while passing by from the C & O Canal, Its a small, quiet area to eat. This place was actually a school back then, but was officially shutdown before I was born. I would also go here if your children needed somewhere to play (Playground next to restaurant), or that's where I go when I practice baseball or tennis. There's a tennis court and a baseball field near them too.
Definitely a pleasant surprise for breakfast one morning. The French toast and ham were awesome. The old school setting is very unique. Well worth the stop especially if you are riding the GAP trail.
Stopped here on my way down to DC from Pittsburgh on the C&O towpath last fall. Incredibly friendly people and atmosphere. They even let me crash in one of the unused rooms for the night instead of having to set up camp in the dark. One of my favorite stops along the way.
Rita is the best and will do whatever you need to make sure you are happy! We ❤️ Rita!
Rita made this stop even more special! Don’t pass up her carrot cake
A very unique and chill place for a quick bite! Super reasonably priced, wonderful service. We for sure plan on returning!
Everything was great. I think the burger is better out west but this place has a greater variety of things including some of my favorite things ie Jalapeños and Bacon . She was super friendly and told me about her family living out west and dying to visit them again. I will be back!!Z!Z
Very nice small restaurant, food is made fresh when ordered, nice atmosphere, good food
