I remember 7-11 since I was a kid in Orange County back in the 1960s. Sorry to see that the founder passed away recently (in his 90s), but he left a tremendous legacy.
Today, I see 7-11 corporate and franchise stores constantly evolving their merchandise, much more than in the past. But again, technology and the 'information age' paved this evolution (along with Sam Walton, Walmart founder).
One 'critical' remark to make regards franchise stores. There is a consistent issue of cleanliness both inside and outside.
(1) Coffee Bars, Soda Bars, and self-serve food prep areas MUST be wiped-down constantly, morning - day - night.
(2) Outside areas must be scrubbed, daily (or nightly).
Some 7-11 locations look, well, "third-world," and they smell that way too.
But overall, I look forward to stopping into a 7-11 location at least three times a week. Yes, Starbucks is nice, but they do not carry the 'selection' of a 7-11.
Justin the cashier at night is underpaid for what he does. He simply makes your day. Seven eleven convenient store around the area have lost the one main factor that actually is important: guest service experience! I have made it a point to avoid several seven eleven stores because the people working there have lost respect for the guest business. Listen people; is YOUR money from a simple quarter to a one hundred dollars bill is your hard work earned money, YOU decide where to expend it! Your business should be appreciated and if not; then there's a million more places where you can go. Do not settle for anything less than excellence or else you'd be doing a disrespect to yourself and your money

Founds items quickly. Staff was a bit dustracted but i erall for a 4 am order i was doing for another customer at was a smooth tranaction with myself and the staff.
This is one of the smaller 7-Elevens but the gas station makes up for the smaller convenience store (for those who get here in cars; I bike here).
STAFF THERE ARE ALWAYS NICE TO FOLKS, STORE HAS EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR ME. VERY CONVIENCE
Good service, they don't have cold 2-L drinks though!
Cashier manages 2 cash registers at once! Never have i seen that motivation anywhere else.
