Stumbled upon Le Gourmet Break while looking for breakfast within walking distance from my hotel in downtown Orlando. First, the food is super affordable for downtown. Next, it's fantastic! I had an omelette sandwich on a croissant with veggies, bacon and Brie - TO DIE FOR! Our waitress also managed to quiet down a screaming customer under 3 by gifting him a treat and making him promise to be her best friend It was adorable and it worked. I'm pretty sure she made everyone's day. I grabbed a mixed fruit tart for the next morning and it was equally as delicious as the omelette sandwich. The bottom was coated with large grained sugar and I've never had anything like it. I highly recommend this place; a real gem.

Perfect place to get some delicious food for breakfast, brunch and/or lunch. I've enjoyed this place several times. The tomato soup is a must and the baguette sandwiches are amazing. The owner and her staff are attentive and friendly.

Very attentive and pleasant staff.. you dont need to go to a fancy place to have a great time, have great food or a great service. This small but cozy place has it all and it's worth the money. I would definitely come again.

Aurelie and her crew are always lovely and welcoming. The food is delicious, the pastries are delightful (I’ve asked her to sell the pastry cream with a spoon!), and she’s always ready to recommend something yummy if you can’t pinpoint what you’re hungry for. I always look forward to visiting her little shop for good food and a smile during the workday!

I think it is the best breakfast in Orlando! The omelet croissant is my favorite. My only wish is for real coffee cups with sugar dispensers and cream pitchers. Then it would be PERFECT!

Great breakfast sandwich. It came out nice and hot and included a free juice or coffee. I didn’t try any of the other pastries but overall cool place for breakfast

Walked in to get coffee, ended up buying croissants, a baguette and macaroons. Their pastries looked really good and everything tasted fresh. The baguette came out so deliciously warm and crispy, and it was, indeed, really good. The croissants were super flaky and the macaroons had the perfect texture! My favorite was the apricot!

Nice French themed cafe with affordable pricing. We had omelettes which included a choice of three different toppings. The omelettes were good. The only side included with the omelette were a few slices of baguette. You might want to order extra sides (such as a pastry) if you're especially hungry. Has indoor tables to seat about 20 people. On a Sunday morning it was difficult to find parking nearby so I had to walk for about 10 minutes from where I ultimately parked.

Great "French" place to stop at for a quick breakfast. I got the build-your-own omelette panini with spinach, cheddar, and bacon (thanks to the cashier helping point my indecisive brain in that direction). I was pleasantly surprised at the size of it & consequently did not leave hungry. The fact that it came with complimentary coffee/orange juice made it that much better.

Good authentic French food. Definitely recommended. The best pain au raisin I have had in US. Good crepes and good crepe options. Good baguette sandwiches. Good brunch place. I would have given them 5 star but for the coffee. The coffee was disappointing and serving coffee in Starbucks like paper cups is not acceptable.

This was my first time, and I didn’t give myself enough time to look at the menu. It was around 13:00, and they close at 14:00 on Sundays, I did not want to miss my opportunity window, so I had the brunch. Not bad. Croissant was OK, crepé with ham, cheese and egg was good, so was the orange juice. Next time I visit — earlier, for sure — I shall try that huge croissant with omelette, and the baguettes, and the other goodies I missed the last time. Cozy place, I liked it!

Went in too this place looking to eat breakfast while I was doing some work duties downtown and I must admit it was a great choice. If felt like this local bakery where you are a regular when it was just my 1st time. I came a little confused on what I would order. The lady at front so genuine help me in a fun way look at the menu and help me build up my customized veggie and eggs sandwich. I must say it was so good and the bread so fresh. I highly recommend this place and will come back with my wife the next time. She will love it.

The French cuisine, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff at Le Gourmet Break is sublime. With my many visits, so far, I have had the omelette croissant, baguette and white crepe for breakfast as well as the buckwheat crepe Aurélie for lunch (my favorite) and it's ALL amazing, and the portions are HUGE. I have never been disappointed, not, one, time. If your appetite calls for something less filling then try one of the savory friands or the traditional French breakfast which gives you a sampling of the freshly baked baguette and croissants created there daily. When I cannot deny my sweet tooth I'll pop in for tart, an eclair or one of the many other sweet pastries they make. The cafe itself is a warm cozy space to sit and enjoy your meal, have a chat with friends or take a lunch break from work. Just be sure to stop by the counter first to order as this is not a wait service. As you can see from their ratings and other reviews they are well liked and very popular at peak times (at breakfast and lunch) so either call ahead or order on line if you want to avoid wait times. Also, because everything is made fresh in house, items can run out on busy days and with a small staff more cannot be made on demand, so order early and have patience if this happens. Looking to provide a tasty moment for your next work brunch? Le Gourmet Break can create a catered breakfast/brunch/lunch for your office/event with at least 72 hours notice. You can also experience them at home through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub apps. So if you're looking for a taste of France, a quaint experience and friendly atmosphere, pop into Le Gourmet Break, they are trés magnifique. Bon appétit!
