Boardwalk Deli- formerly called Boardwalk Bakery is a quaint little shop offering sandwiches, baked goods and beverages. You can get your resort mug refilled here too. Food was good- typical Disney prices. We got the roasted turkey sandwich, kids ham/cheese, chicken salad wrap, croissant and banana bread. All very good- no complaints. Sitting at the tables outside next to the water was enjoyable and this was perfect for us while staying at the Boardwalk Resort.
The Boardwalk Deli (formerly the Boardwalk walk Bakery) is a great quick service location to grab a bite to eat if you are in the Disney Boardwalk area.
They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a nice selection or pastries, salads, sandwiches and wraps.
On this visit, we tried the Pastrami Reuben, and Chicken Salad Wrap.
Both items were very good. The pastrami was on a very thick and fluffy marble rye bread, with a very very generous portion of pastrami. The pastrami was nice and tender.
The chicken salad wrap was full of chicken salad made with white meat chicken salad and was also very good. I would get both of these items again. For our side item, we both ordered the house made chips which were also very good.
This is definitely a great option for a quick meal.
Located inside of Disney's Boardwalk Hotel.
I think the plant-based Vegan Ciabatta breakfast sandwich might be the best sandwich I've had across all of Disney property, breakfast lunch or dinner. The flavor of the plant-based florentine with the argula and tomato jam, on the fresh and soft ciabatta is mouthwatering. The sandwich was definitely warm, delicious and filling.
It was the morning rush and this place was busy with in person guests, as well as mobile orders and they looked to be short staffed. The Cast Members (Shoutout Cynthia and Stef) were definitely doing their best as they got to each order as quickly as possible and apologized each time for the wait. Some guests had zero patience and unfortunately continued to complain the entire time. Please don't do this to the Cast Members when you see they're hussling and trying to do their best. Please also note that this is a FRESH bakery where food is prepared fresh and on site as many of the guests complaints was that they should've already had sandwiches ready to go and pre-made. If you want a "quick" and non fresh sandwich, please find a different place to get your food.
Good place to grab something quick! Sandwich & orange were only $8.99 and very filling! Nice tables to sit out front of the place to people watch and look out at the water!
This lovely Bakery is a must stop multiple times while we are on vacation. My favorite is the Mixed Berry Scone. The Key Lime Tart is just as great. We grab our breakfast, find a spot around the Lake and just enjoy the moment.
It's a Disney bakery. What's not to like. Yummy food. Had the key lime tart. Service is great. Typical mickey tax pricey, but it is Disney and not too many other places to enjoy baked treats with that boardwalk view.
I had an issue whit the lady helping me. I had asked for a slice Crumb Cake that didn’t have the side, but she gave me the side part anyway.
I told the cashier about it and he was nice enough to give me the piece I wanted and let me keep the other one for free.
The Crumb Cake was soft, moist and delicious.
The other dessert I ordered (Scone Mixed Berry) wasn’t as good. It was moist, which shouldn’t be the case for a scone, and acidic.
Board walk consistently delivers chill vibes and a great spot to end a day. This bakery in particular is a great spot to get some snacks. I highly recommend giving the Mickey cinnamon roll a try. It was incredible
Honestly worth it...
The grilled cheese sandwich what surprisingly good with a side of the best tomato soup I have ever had...
If you didn't manage to get a reservation for Trattoria al Forno and don't feel like eating pizza at the walk-up window then this is the place for you.
Love the pastries and sandwich options here. They also have healthy snacks such as oranges and cheeses. Coffee lovers, hey also have cold brew! Their specialty cupcake flavor changes each month.
Update: December specialty cupcake is Gingerbread, a lightly spiced vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and a fluffy gingerbread mouse in the middle.
Truly love this bakery. Limited menu due to Covid and lower numbers visiting disney but still magical. One tip to remember is that they have a lot more than baked goods and everything here is really good.
Delicious freshly made bread products.
Enjoyed the Cinnamon Bun for breakfast one morning and a Mickey Fudge Brownie with a Peanut Butter Cheesecake for desert another night.
Convenient quick stop with a variety of choices.
Cold brew, cupcakes, cheese, hard boiled eggs. Anything you might need on the go!
I will say, the cupcakes were not as good as they looked. Really not worth the money or calories.
Plenty of delicious Disney inspired treats to be found here.
