This restaurant is an absolute gem! The incredible food, authentic atmosphere, reasonable prices, and exceptional service create an unforgettable experience. It's like a mini vacation from Orlando, and I can't get enough of it!
Il Pescatore is a "Mom and Pop" style restaurant that serves a variety of Italian cuisine and homestyle comfort food. Its staff is friendly and accommodating and quick to address customer requests, questions or concerns. Ava, our server, ensured our food was cooked to order and promptly delivered. During our meal, there were several diners who appeared to be regular customers of the restaurant which a good sign where the locals eat.

24 Jun 2023. 8:30pm First time visitor to this wonderful, family-owned restaurant. We discovered it simply passing by. We always prefer family-owned restaurants over franchises/chains. The restaurant is very quaint. Reminded me of the cozy Italian restaurants I used to visit when growing up in Queens and Brooklyn in the 70s and 80s. We ordered the Stuffed Eggplant and Chicken Marsala, came with dinner side salads and garlic bread. The food was as good as the pictures look... And the pictures look VERY GOOD π€£ We always try some of the sauces by themselves before anything else. That's our litmus test for good Italian food. If the sauce isnt great, the rest of the meal won't be either. The red sauce was not overly salty and was nit too sweet. Had a good tomato flavor and was slightly on the acidic side β
The Marsala sauce was not overly salty, had a rich darker color and strong wine flavor β
and, the mushrooms were visible and sizable. Nothing worse than advertising that a dish contains mushrooms and then finding lots of little l, hard to see bits and pieces. See the pics. You get MUSHROOMS here. Our server was great.... He was friendly, attentive and prompt. The only suggestion I have is to ensure the Stuffed Eggplant is hot in the middle of the layers. The top and bottom were hot, presumable from the oven heat. But the center was room temp. I didn't want to complain, because I was hungry and I didn't want to wait before I could dig in π... a simple thermometer check could prevent this in the future. Never the less, the quality and flavor is excellent and we will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Great Italian food at a great price. The place is very welcoming and has a warm atmosphere. This restaurant was a happy find for my wife and I while visiting Orlando. Without the razzle dazzle of many other places in Orlando, Il Pescatore delivers delicious food. Try the Chicken di Stefano or the sampler. You won't be disappointed!!
This restaurant is like a not-very-well-hidden secret because everyone in the neighborhood seems to know about it and adore it. The food and atmosphere has an authentic feel and great taste, and the staff all make you feel like part of the family. It also has a superb wine collection that's not overly priced.
I worked in an Italian restaurant in NY when I was young, and this restaurant is as good as it gets. Anyone giving it less that 5 stars does not know authentic Italian cuisine. The staff is vantastic and the menu is amazing. My favorite dishes are the Tortellini Di Stefano and the Pescatore Special Stromboli. Their house salad dressing is so good, I mop it up with their complimentary home made garlic bread. They even make their own pasta. The calamari is succulent, never ever chewy. Their portions are more than generous, and their prices are great. We usually don't have room for dessert, but they have the BEST desserts. Where else are you going to get an authentic homemade Italian dessert for $5.00? NO WHERE. You cant go wrong here, you just cant. Thank you IL Pescatore for always treating us like family, and always sending us home holding our stomachs with a big smile on our faces.
I had the eggplant stuffed with manicotti with rigatoni. My partner had the garlic, olive oil and parsley on linguine. Both were delicious. Each came with a fresh crisp house salad and a basket of garlic bread for the table. Everything was delish. The service is delightful!

The food is so much better than we hoped for! Luckily , allot of places were shut down due to Nicole blowing through. And so thankfully we ended up here. And what a treat! Excellent eggplant Parmigian! Excellent Stromboli! I mean it stands out from any other Italian restaurant I've been to. If you don't try it, you will be missing out big time!

My husband enjoys going to fine dining restaurants that have a cheap facade but the food is delicious. He says " they spend all their resources in fresh products for great food" rather than the outside appeal. He is usually right. This place is not in the downtown tourist district but it was very friendly. The waitress was very good and there was a friendly family feel to it. The food was well proportioned they served a lot but the best part was the pizza. Oh my the pizza was delightful. Even my picky mother loved it. All the food was hot abd very good.

Excellent food! The Bolognese is the best I've had in many years. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the restaurant creates a welcome space for all. Will definitely return. We went there for my son's 26th birthday and he raved about it. We brought in balloons and a cake, which the staff was more than happy to serve to us.
Annette the waitress was very sweet and accomadating, she kind of remind me of the waitress "Flo" on the show Alice years ago, the attitude - "you get what you get". I would have to say the restaurant food was "Yummy"ππ and my husband and I would had stayed to eat the desserts, that were homemade - the tiarmisu and cannolis, but the emergency call from my petsitter took priority, and had to leave quickly, so we took the desserts to go. Annette was very helpful and I wish her a beautiful future with lots of blessings and peace in her journey in life.β€π
Our favorite Italian restaurant in Orlando! This is a mom and pop restaurant family ran. Our favorite dishes are the Stromboli and chicken marsala with Alfredo spaghetti. Pizza also very good here. Great place for a date night. Not overpriced and amazing food. Highly recommend!
My husband found this little gem after attending A Christmas Carol. We soooo enjoyed our dinner and the service that we made the drive again New Year's Eve Eve.
I had the Linguine con Vongole ππΌπ and my husband had the Linguine with Bolognese. I loved the house salad, too. We also had the cheese sticks and they were delicious.
On our second visit I had the same dish - Linguine con Vongole π βΊ and my husband had the pasta combination dinner πππΌπ.
When we return to Orlando again, we will be sure to stop in.

You know itβs going to be an authentic Italian meal when you enter the restaurant and every seat is filled with what you can only describe as locals!
Ava was our server and she was friendly, efficient and came to check on us regularly (what more can you ask?!)
Portions were a really nice size and prices were reasonable. 2 entrees, 2 sodas, a tea and a cannoli came out to $60 with tax & tip.
I ordered the linguini with clams and it was great! Just wish it had a few more fresh clams (only came with 4. The rest were minced clams). Hubby had penne with bolognese sauce and sausage.
Will definitely come back! Thumbs up

My first time here. I LOVE IT! The service was excellent. The salad was fresh and cold, which I love. I was shocked at how quick the entrees came out; I wasn't done with the salad. But it was piping hot and sssooo delicious. I ordered the Gamberi Portofino. The 3 other people at the table loved their dishes, as well. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!
