If you want to sit down and enjoy a sunny hot day, this would be the restaurant to pick at the Ritz-Carlton.
We got seated right away and the pace of the meal was good. Our server was not great, since he took a while to come to our table, spilled ice on our table, did not refill our water and forgot to bring the condiments we asked.
As for the food, it is overpriced but that is what you expect while dining at a high end hotel. We ordered the classic burger with caesar salad, the churrasco quesadilla, the classic burger with fries and a pitcher of farm fresh sangria.
I was the only one that enjoyed the meal and the sangria. My burger was cooked well and the caesar salad even though it was small had a good dressing and good parmesan cheese. The sangria was light, refreshing and not overly sweet. The great ending to our meal with the sunny weather.
Got nothing bad to say about this place. It is a pool bar at the Ritz - so it is overpriced for pretty simple food but the food is good. Had the quesadilla and at a different time the fish tacos. Both were good and get delivered to your chair at the pool. Good variety of drinks as well - service at the pool is very quick.
Good food for being a poolside restaurant. The ropa vieja nachos are unique and delicious. The fish tacos are delicious, not heavy but filling. The burger with bacon was on point. Unfortunately, the fajita in the quesadilla was chewy.
Our waiter was great.
Besides the fact that is beautiful, the water is perfect, and the perfectly comfy chairs.. the staff is very attentive but not over bearing, the food is always so fresh and tasty. Add in the gorgeous view and you’re set for an excellent pool day at Blue
A little hidden treasure by the pool. I had seen the menu had fish Tacos, and I went on a mission to go here. The fish taco were delicious! We also had chicken quesdillas and a few cocktails which were also fabulous. The bartender, Tom was wonderful. It was a very nice, quiet hidden treasure!

Ate here with my husband for lunch on August 15th. It was one of the best meals I've had this year and the service was outstanding. The grouper sandwich was absolute perfection as the bun was soft, fresh, and tasty while the fish was perfectly cooked and blackened just enough to enjoy the blackened taste without overpowering the mild flavor of the grouper. The wings were the best I've ever tasted. We couldn't decide which sauce we wanted so we ordered buffalo and tamarind chili and they were both incredible as was the blue cheese. The cocktails were very good. I'd definitely recommend eating here when visiting any of the Grande Lakes properties (Ritz Carlton, JW Marriott or Lakeshore Reserve).
Just had the most wonderful lunch today at Bleu. I’m still wary of being out many places due to Covid. But everything here was stellar. Distancing, patrons and servers in masks, everything clean - Just top notch. I kept it simple with the chips and salsa, and asked for some jalapeños on the side, which were incredible and obviously pickled in house (turns out, they were grown on the farm on site, too). Be sure to ask for them if you come!
The highlight was incredible service from Nick. He’s a beer aficionado, and we had fun talking about his various recommendations, and I especially appreciated him telling me about the nanobrewery at the property. At his recommendation, I tried the Surplus Honey Citrus Ale, which was delicious. Brewed on site, hops grown on the farm, and honey from their apiary - how cool is that? Thanks Nick, for a wonderful lunch service today! You are the epitome of what makes a stay at the Ritz so great!
For a poolside bar/cafe, some of the best food you'll find. The Blue burger is one of the best we've ever had, their signature tacos (fish, tempura fried avacado & more) are outstanding, as are their Buffalo wings/tenders. And there are plenty more appetizers, sandwiches, quesadias and salads to choose from.
Food is always good, but the menu isn't the same as it used to be. They took away the pineapple chicken sandwich that was soooo amazing. If you ask them they'll usually still make it for you. The sweet potato fries are also really good.
Maureen is always taking extra care of us,providing excellent customer service and verbal etiquette,Also remembering my drink preferences and dietary needs makes us feel special.
Looking forward for next visit.
Very courteous staff, food was fresh and appealing. Great ambiance with live poolside music for the holiday weekend. We weren't there to get in the pool but still enjoyed the restaurant.
Best food at the ritz, salsa is to die for. Burger was very well cooked, flatbreads are almost big enough to serve two.
The service is excellent! Food is also great. The staff goes above and beyond. Had to drop a star because they close WAY to early. No nightlife. A bit disappointing.
Beautiful poolside restaurant! Great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon meal. Staff is always very attentive.
