Visiting Orlando and just randomly selected this restaurant. The food was great. We were there at the start of happy hour and enjoyed fantastic drinks and appetizers. Some of the appetizers we enjoyed were clam strips and deviled eggs. The most exciting however was their okra cooked in the most unusual way, not fried or boiled but pan seared, delicious. For our entree we all selected burgers. Oh yes snd a side salad. We were so incredibly full we didn't save room for dessert but we will definitely return.
We went for a birthday brunch with some friends. Great atmosphere. Their claim is that most of the menu is locally sourced and the food tasted that way. I personally like the feel of an open kitchen and preparation for everyone to see. Great drink menu with local breweries to choose from. I went pretty basic with the cheeseburger. And it was basic but really good. Three people at the table remarked that it was the best French toast that they've ever had with a presentation to match. While not the most exciting menu that there is I don't think there is a bad item on it. Will definitely be back.
This place is a must try for foodies. I have eaten at Luke’s a few times and I think their food is great. Today I had the ‘lunch special w roasted chicken’ and it was one of the best meals I have had in quite a while. You get quality, beautiful presentations and unique flavor profiles. The decor is perfect for a nice date night or a business lunch. In fact, I need to remember to schedule more of my lunch meetings at Luke’s as sometimes I forget about driving the short distance to this free standing establishment. Also, the parking is MUCH BETTER than trying to find a spot on Park Avenue as you have an entire parking lot to park in at Luke’s. The portions are not huge but frankly I don’t always need to eat large amounts of food like some places serve. This place makes the case that quality is better than quantity …and if you appreciate fresh ingredients then you will love this Maitland gem.
This was our first visit to Luke's, and our expectations were exceeded. Beverages were excellent, with some creative options.
The deviled eggs appetizer was tasty, with the lime providing a fresh note, and the corn nuts provided textural contrast. The sausage flatbread was very flavorful. My husband's flatiron steak was tender, with a delicious butter, and the fries were crisp with great herb and salt flavor.
We got dessert to go, and both the malt brownie and key lime pie were outstanding. The brownie was rich but light, almost like a soufflé.
Caysea provided friendly, efficient service, as well as excellent suggestions. The patio was a great environment on a day with pleasant temperatures and a slight breeze.
We'll definitely return on a future visit to the area and hope to bring others with us.
This was my first time trying this place and it was AMAZING. Everything in their kitchen is homemade and the menu varies by season. Their Caesar salad is by far the best one I’ve ever tried. It’s made the authentic way with the anchovies and everything. Their flatbread was also incredibly fresh and flavorful. The steaks just melt in your mouth and we’re cooked to perfection. The desert also did not disappoint. The blueberry upside down cake was incredible. To summarize, all the food we ordered was amazing. The service was also excellent. Our waitress answered any and all questions my and my party had and provided great suggestions. All of our food also came out in a timely manner and the portions were sizable. The decor is modern, and the low moody lighting is perfect for a date night. The entire restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms. There is also a big parking lot which makes the whole restaurant very accessible. Although this was our first time coming to Luke’s Kitchen, it certainly won’t be the last!
I was blown away at how good my food was. Their garlic bread is out of this world. It's literally the freshest tastiest bread I've ever had. I am definitely coming back to try more things.
Drinks were awesome. A must try on their famous White Linen drink. Flat bread was freshly made from their outdoor ceramic oven.
Good experience overall!!
Went for a work event and the food was fantastic. The drinks were well made. Service that day was extremely short staffed, we were a party of about 35 and only 2 servers and 1 bartender for the ENTIRE restaurant. You can tell they were trying their best that’s why I’m giving them to stars. Would’ve given it one star for management for setting up and/not considering how overwhelming it was for the employees that day. Other than that, I’m looking forward to go on my own time with my husband. Beautiful place and delicious food.
Great food and atmosphere. Been here several times and they always switch the menu giving you options for new experiences to be had while dining and enjoying their special cocktails and libations along with tasty appetizers. Swordfish Schnitzel and Steak were on point!
This is my favorite restaurant! I love that both the food and drink menu changes seasonally. If you haven’t been, GO! The service is always exceptional. Cat is my favorite bartender ❤️
Bianca and Richard are unreal -- two of the best servers / hosts I've ever had at any restaurant at any price point. I had to name drop first because, though food is certainly important at a restaurant, I really crave a top-notch experience when I go out to eat. We decided on Luke's for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding, and I could not believe how consistent, delicious, and perfectly paced our whole meal was. The cocktails here are excellent -- well constructed and perfectly made.
The food was just marvelous. I had the pork chop, which was the juiciest and most flavorful chop I've ever had. Even the caesar salad was, like, shockingly good. Everyone in our party got all sorts of combinations of the prix fixe and they were all so pleased with every dish and the service.
We had a lovely, lovely time -- our party was so happy with everything and my fiance and I were over the moon with our choice to dine here with our close friends and family. Five stars seems like I'm underselling it. Please go here and support this excellent restaurant. And if you can get either Richard or Bianca as your server, I recommend requesting them. Even by great service standards, they're in the top tier.
I originally visited in 2019 and it has been my mission to return. It has a great ambiance. We started at the bar and then went to our reserved booth which was also in the bar area. I had the Green Smoke cocktail. I love any cocktail with mezcal and it did not disappoint. For an appetizer, we had the deviled eggs with hot honey. They were delicious and the pickled topping was perfect. For dinner, I had the redfish. It was light and tender. And the crispy topping was a perfect compliment. I’m glad that I returned after several years and hope that it’s not my last.
My husband and I have been to Luke's a few times now and absolutely love it! The staff is always so welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is incredibly tasty and the drinks are phenomenal! If you have not been, I highly recommend it. Luke's is great for any occasion - date nights to celebrations. Hopefully coming in tonight and we can't wait!
Best dining experience I’ve had in years. Large party, 40 +. The service was seamless and the food scrumptious. This is a pioneering example of true excellence. Kudos to the entire staff, management and ownership. You all are true professionals and made our special occasion memorable. Much thanks!!!
Fresh menu options, fun cocktails. Tasted good, a little pricey but good quality. The cocoa petals (cocoa puff infused bourbon) was tasty and others seemed to like their cocktails as well. The redfish is cooked to perfection.
Luke’s is one of the few restaurants left in Orlando where you can taste the quality of the ingredients used. It’s very apparent these folks know what they are doing in service, drinks and food. My wife and I had an amazing dinner. Will be back multiple times to try the ever changing menu. Killed it!
Went for lunch with 2 others. Was told I must try the burger - it did not disappoint! Delicious and each one was cooked perfectly. The fries are amazing and taste like they have truffle oil on them. My only nit pick is that the fries are very salty. Service was excellent. They have a nice selection of craft beer. We'll return for dinner.
This is one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Everything on the menu is top notch delicious. The steak was comparable to a signature steak restaurant. Many of the dishes such as the devil eggs and key lime pie were some of the best I have. They also take creative twists which I appreciate because it makes it feel like you can't get it anywhere else.
Gotta try this place if you haven't
Great dinner for us here tonight. The staff had great customer service and the food was on point. Our server Sonya did great too. I’ve tried Trout dishes at other places and the one here has one of the best for me. Their gulf shrimp is spicy and delicious ( the dipping bread is a bit too hard, and should be a little softer to soak up that yummy sauce), oysters fresh, and the red fish dish was also delicious. My husband loved this place. Bravo to the kitchen staff!
