We played the links course last week and enjoyed it as much as any course in Orlando. The greens had been sanded, but still rolled pretty true. Fairways are in Fantastic shape.
When the construction is done, that will be an incredible place!
I played the links course (new course) I found it a lot of fun to play. I would definitely play this course again.
A couple of improvements would be nice. Cart serve found us only once in our round. There is no midway house for food or drinks, so this needs to be more often. I was glad I took two waters and two pops.
The water and ice machine didn't work on the course except #1.
Also, no sand in the divot repair shaker. With just a few adjustments, it would make a better experience
This is a fantastic golf course and very fun to play. It's like God put down perfect turf that seamless across all of the fairways. Huge landing areas so if you hit a wayward tee shot, you will still be hitting from a fairway. Greens were perfect rolls. Love this place!!!
The course was amazing and super easy to play! The fairways are well manicured and the greens are super quick. Wonderful time! FYI - the drive to the clubhouse was a little tricky because of all the construction. Same was true for the golf cart drive to the 1st tee. Otherwise everything else was spectacular! The course was in phenomenal shape. I loved everything about it. Not a single weed on the entire course. The tee boxes had better grass than most greens on other courses. The greens were smooth and quick. I can't wait to play it again!!
Outside of a 675 million dollar facilities overhaul on the property (construction everywhere) the new course played very well and the greens were so true it hurt my brain. The pro shop didn’t have much to offer (seemed to cater to the “old man” style of wear). Would look forward to playing again after all the construction is completed.
This course was incredible! Fairways are in great shape, greens immaculate! Club selection is key on each hole as each hole is different...bunkers in the middle of the fairway will make you feel like playing on some holes seen during The British Open. I was able to move my tee time up a bit and got paired up with 2 other guys who truly made the round great!
1st one out this morning playing by myself. Finished in just over 2 hrs. Course was very wet due to all the rain but it drained very well. Wasn't cart path only because there aren't many. Lots of construction going on around the course but the course itself is in great shape. Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be back.
Outstanding! Construction you go thru to first hole gives a bad first impression, but once on the coarse, awesome golf. Staff was supper friendly. Greens and fairways are immaculate. First time I've played a course this forgiving off the tee, unless you hit one of those bunkers!
Unbelievable golf and a hidden gem. The other poor ratings will mention the construction. However, the construction will not be forever and when it’s finished it will be the best stay and play in Orlando. We played the private course and it was in immaculate shape. The fairways were cut tight and the greens were rolling 🤩 if you visit before the construction, you will need to ask for directions to each tee. The par 3 island green was difficult but fun and the front 9 was significantly harder than the back. Highly recommend this course
First time playing here, visiting from Georgia. The course deserves 6 stars and it really doesn’t compare to any other course in that area. Cart guy Mike and Bev cart Mike made me feel like a member at a private club. Tee boxes are pristine, fairways are lush, and the greens roll true and are in fantastic shape. The links course is a replica of St. Andrews Old Course and is one of the most fun golf courses I’ve ever played. It is very forgiving but counters that with treacherous fairway bunkers. It’s very easy to go low but you don’t feel like it was handed to you. If you’ve only got one round in Orlando its worth every penny. Very excited to play their new course next year
Played here Saturday of Memorial day weekend. Original clubhouse is torn down. One of the 2 courses is open (the new course). Excellent shape and layout. Feels like SC without all the long bunkers. Beware of the pot bunkers, they will ruin your score. Played from the back tees and it is a challenging golf course. Well worth the money. Will be replaying here for sure
There’s definitely two sides to this coin. If you’ve never been there this is the way it went for me. When you arrive there are 2 guys receiving guest, but neither approached me at my car. So l carried my bag to a cart and put it on. Then if you want to warm up there are nets to hit into (pass…). Then you take a journey through the outback, pass the construction to the 1st tee. I asked for ice for the cooler and they said it was behind the pod on 1. No there wasn’t. It was empty. I finally got some on the 5th tee. And both of the divot fill shakers were empty. Then the quirkiness starts. I was hitting the ball mostly down the middle, but l rarely ever knew if l was ok. You can’t see what’s in front of you. It’s like playing golf on the moon, because of the features. With all that said… the conditions are amazing from tee to green, including the bunkers. Even the tee boxes l only picked up one broken tee. And when you’re on the course the only time you really come in contact with the construction is the 9th tee. The conditions were easily worth $89. The total experience not so much. It’s kind of like “high end golf lite”. Now time for a burger and a beer somewhere else, because there’s nothing there for after. P.S. Who came up with a 23mph speed limit?
