I just moved here from Chattanooga, where the gourmet coffee shops are in abundance & I felt would be hard to match. Credo has been the first place I have meandered into and I love the atmosphere & concept... I keep coming back instead of trying somewhere new. Call it being a creature of habit.... or maybe just great service, atmosphere & coffee :)
It's amazing and everyone is so great . I'm from wisconsin and this by far is the best coffee I have had!! Way better than Starbucks ♡♡♡ thanks for making my trip even better with a cup of joe!
I love the atmosphere. ..cool. .calm. ..hip. ..you can sip on a delicious cafe con Leche.. and let it take you away. My new favorite place. O and i found my cafe con leche coffee much more delicious than Starbucks.
The whole experience was exceptional. The pour over was fantastic, the staff was helpful and engaging and it provides a great environment for working and conversation.
Great little coffee shop I discover. I love the concept. We need more places like this one.
For the last few weeks I've been working out of Downtown Credo in College Park and Just today got introduced to the "Cortadito" oh WOW! Great place to work from and my new best friend - Cortadito
This place is amazing! The coffee is delicious and it's a cool shop.
Order/Suggestions: Cordadito, Cappuccino, Zucchini Cheddar bread
Price: $12
Pros: Amazing coffee (especially the cup of magic they call the Cordadito), interior is fantastic (wonderful place to work or just “hang out”), the donation based pricing model is so awesome
Cons: Parking is pretty limited but their is plenty of parking on the streets nearby, the pastries were just “ok”
Thoughts: We were headed to Orlando to pick someone up from the Airport and figured we would get there ahead of rush hour traffic, and picked a new coffee shop to sit and enjoy the morning at. I’d head a lot of good things about Credo but had never been able to get there prior to now. This was a mistake, I should have come earlier, I have missed out on one or Orlando’s best coffee shops. This place is genuinely amazing, and very unique.
First of all their pricing model is one of a kind; they work off of donations rather than a required amount. They do list a suggestion price “range” for each drink but they leave it completely up to you how much you pay (THIS DOES NOT MEAN FREE! I swear if people are coming in here and taking coffee without paying -_- ). While this is pretty cool in and of itself it also allows you to pay when you’re done rather than in the beginning. So if you’re like my wife and I (coffee addicts) then you can order multiple drinks over the several hours you’re here and then just pay your “tab” at the end before you leave.
Moving on to the main attraction…the coffee is top notch all around, but dear god in heaven the Cordadito; I think I found a new form of crack. This thing is unrealistically good, the perfect combination of espresso, milk, and sugar. This is SO HARD to get right; so often it’s too sweet, has too much milk, or the quality of the espresso just isn’t there. This thing, this magical potion of amazing, delicious, nectar from heaven that they call a Cordadito is perfect. Get one if you go, you won’t be disappointed.
Their space is also amazing. They have a ton of seating (some of it outside) and it’s semi decided into what almost feels like a “common” area and a quieter area for people doing work or studying. The second area is also able to be rented if you have a function or meeting that you want to host.
Overall Credo easily makes it into the list of favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to and is well worth going a bit out of your way to make it to if you’re in the Orlando area. While their pastries aren’t anything to write home about their coffee is incredible, their model is the incredibly community based, and their space feels like it should naturally be a “third place”. I’m so glad I got to visit and I can’t wait to be back for more.
Staff is super friendly and honestly one of the best cafe con leches I've had
Had a great experience. Really like their concept of this place.
This place is a hole in the wall i found when I was visiting Orlando. It is non-profit, so they ask that you pay what you feel is appropriate. I ordered a cortadito and it was perfect in every way. Definitely visiting again when in Orlando.
Loved the atmosphere, the coffee is delicious and I’m in love with their vibe!!
The cortadito was incredible! My husband and I can't wait to grab another one the next time we're in Orlando!
Downtown Credo is THE shining gem in Orlando, and our organization is thrilled to give it a well-deserved 5-star review.
The space is perfect—inviting, cozy, and just the right ambiance for a great coffee experience. The staff is top-tier, consistently providing friendly and exceptional service.
What sets them apart is their commitment to the community. You can find our donation bins at this location, and we are grateful for them as they provide space for People’s Free Kitchen to organize for the unhoused community. Downtown Credo isn't just a coffee shop; it's a heartwarming hub for community connection. Truly the top coffee shop in Orlando.
I appreciated the atmosphere inside because it felt like a mini bookstore that offered coffee and a variety of areas to sit in. The next thing that was also neat was that they offer extracts to flavor your coffee with. I do not add sugar or sweeteners to my coffee but I do appreciate hints of flavor from time to time. With that being said I was able to add vanilla extract to my cappuccino without the added sugar. Big bonus in my book! It’s also walking distance from Shin Japanese Cuisine which I recently reviewed. Plus and plus!
Check it out!
I had been meaning to stop by after having their coffee back when they had a shop in College Park and finally made it!
The barista was nice, friendly, attentive and helpful. The shop is a good size and they share space with another place called Guacamoli. They have books and other goodies for sale and there is plenty of seating. Street parking is available close by.
I got a hot oatmilk latte and a chocolate chip cookie. The latte was good and the cookie a bit sweet for me. Not bad overall.
If you are in the area check them out.
Such an amazing spot. Chef Di makes the most amazing food, I can taste the love! The whole staff is full of amazing people that do amazing things for our community. I love it here!
Credo has my favorite coffee in town - it's also a great place to sit down and work from. Their staff is awesome and it seems like everyone really cares about the quality of ingredients they use. They seem to do a lot of work for the community (including a donation bin for people who need hygiene supplies) so it feels good to support them. Highly recommend.
Everytime I visit Credo Coffee, it warms my heart to experience not only their dedication to delicious coffee, but also witness their dedication to being anti-apartheid. Unlike mainstream coffee options (looking at you Starbs), Credo Coffee is committed to putting their money towards good and keeping it out of the pockets of people committing genocide, and for that, they’ll always have my business. Thank you Credo Coffee for being on the right side of history and making your position known to the community! Plus, apartied-free coffee just tastes better.

I had a great experience at Credo, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I’m not a daily coffee drinking but once in a while I’ll dabble. I had the Nitro Cafe con Leche and I was pleasantly surprised, in a great way 😁.
All of the people that work here are amazing! Credo is doing great things for the community of Orlando. The coffee and food here are sooo good!
Credo is a great name your price coffee shop with several locations in Orlando. I love how community driven they are and love supporting them when I am in Orlando. They offer a name your price as a way to bring you along side them to invest in the community through your purchase of coffee. This cafe and all their other ones are great spaces that are welcoming and they have friendly baristas. So they deserve every one of those five stars on that front and everyone should visit this cafe and others to use their coffee money to further the community.
But you can't review a coffee shop as if the coffee is an afterthought of a byproduct of the mission. They use a quality roast and are good on that front. But when it comes to drink quality I have had some good drinks and some slightly foamy misses. So while I applaud their efforts and love what they are doing, their coffee quality overall is what I would call pretty good in a city that is finally starting to get really good coffee. So for sure go here and their other locations, if you are looking for a good space and coffee, but if you are going to a cafe primarily for great coffee, you might get it here or you might not.
great local coffee shop that has a sick menu and chill atmosphere. check out their special events (movie nights, etc) that happen from time to time
Great coffee and friendly staff. Open space with plenty of seating. There's also a food counter. Fresh and delicious!
This place is THE definition of a local coffee shop. Walking in here just feels like home, the coffee is delicious too 😉
Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in town (or be like me and drive 30 mins)
Amazing coffee. Just had the batch brew Americano and it was fantastic. Huevos Rancheros from Guacamoli in the same space was the best I’ve ever had. Service and food quality was outstanding 🤩
Clean, quiet atmosphere with minimalistic decor that's perfect for studying or to just lounge around. The coffee is good, with flexible pricing ( you pick what you want to pay). I like to be able to pick from a wider selection of drinks, but that's about the only downside.
Such a cool little shop. They do a name your price thing that allows you to reward every part of the team that brought you the coffee. I was also able to pass on the good vibes by purchasing a coffee for some future person. The barista was very knowledgeable and introduced me to a vegan oat based creamer that is AMAZING. I know what I'll be searching for when I head back to AZ. Great job Credo, keep it up.
A “pay what you feel is worth it” place. Love supporting small businesses, cheers! And a REAL GOOD cup of coffee on top of it!
Amazing coffee, the staff are always nice and the place is really cozy.
Good coffee! The make they own milk! The place have a peaceful energy so you can enjoy and relaxing there! Of course I will come back
