The service was top notch - our server was absolutely wonderful. The strawberry elderflower pink lemonade is so delicious and refreshing. We started with the bread and although the butter + jam were divine, the bread was pretty overcooked. What wasn’t burnt was good though. The entrees were quite bland. The scallops were overly sweet and didn’t taste of much else. The steak was great and we would definitely recommend it! Overall, a good 4-star experience!
We had a great time here! Salmon was perfection—I’d never been asked what temp I want my salmon cooked so that surprised me but I took the chef recommendation of medium and it was delicious!! All the food we had was great and cooked to perfection. Our bartender (we sat at the bar) was super knowledgeable, as were the others I observed while sitting there. Overall a phenomenal experience.
3.5
To be honest, I was underwhelmed. I really thought the food was going to be better. Im not saying it was bad, but I guess I had higher expectations.
Service was good, and so were the drinks!
Mom mom got a salad and said it was alright.
3 of us got steaks.
Filet mignon, and I believe a NY strip.
The steaks were fine but have had better.
It was the sides that made it underwhelming. The grilled baby carrots and crispy smashed potatoes had no seasoning. I understand we are suppose to enjoy the flavor of the grill but no seasoning at all? No butter? Nothing?
Those who got steak agreed that the sides were bland. Maybe it was an off day? Maybe it’s just us?
Try and see for yourself ! Everyone has different tastes! While we might not have enjoyed, I know there’s plenty of people who would!
I will say the person who got the bison burger said it was pretty good and really liked the fries!
Rockit Travel and excellent adventures
+5
Big fire is a mostly meat 🍖 restaurant but being a vegetarian - the had a couple of nice options that were actually quite good. I got the coliflower steak 🥩 and it was quite good. Usually meat restaurants just have some token vegetarian options but what the prepared. Was very good. And of course the meat options my friends had - they said were excellent.
Wow!
Absolutely loved our meal here whilst visiting Universal, again! I would say that this is definitely the best restaurant we have been to at Universal, or any theme park to be honest.
Stefania was our server and was absolutely superb, attentive and knowledgable about the dishes and made us feel very welcome.
The food itself was superb, some mixed reviews on here, as there always is, so was slightly apprehensive but it didn’t disappoint. I had the steak and not only was it cooked perfectly, medium rare, but tasted fantastic.
We had a seat upstairs in the balcony so had a great view of the whole restaurant.
Really couldn’t recommend this place enough and please do make sure to ask for Stefania if you go here!!
American food with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options! Yay!
I ordered the Salmon it was cooked perfectly and I would give it 10/10 for flavor.
This was served with crispy smashed potatoes, & seasonal veg which were carrots and zucchini also 10/10.
I ordered the side of sweet corn pudding just out of curiosity as it was a gluten free side that was the best decision, amazing!!!!
The food was delicious and worth the $ being in Universal. Wine was my desert.
10/10 for service, food and atmosphere!
It was our first time dining at Bigfire. We made online reservations (super easy and a time saver). It was early in the day but the restaurant filled up quickly! Bigfire was so tasty! Everything smells so good. We have a toddler and bringing him to the parks usually consists of him eating a routine of burger/nuggets/flatbreads but Bigfire has these kid's steak kabobs and their grilled veggies have great flavor & texture. We will definitely be back!
Making reservations anytime after 5 is a must if you don't wanna wait. 😊😊
Made reservations on the last night we were here at 645. I like the atmosphere and the fact you can see them cooking. I've always enjoyed that.
Dasan was an absolute delight as our waiter. Anything we needed, he was happy to oblige.
We both got filet mignon. Mine was just a tad undercooked, but honestly I didn't care. It was still really good. Highly recommended!!!
We got there, and it was an hour wait, but the bar area is first come, first serve. Luckily, a couple just got up, so we sat right down. We ordered each item on the starters menu for dinner. All of them were good, but our favorites by far were the brussel sprouts and trout dip. Not pictured are the table side smores. That was a treat to have... and it includes a couple Reese's cups in the mix.
Pricing is average for the area. It was pretty busy, so service was slower, but the wait staff were friendly and responsive.
This place smells so good when you walk in. We ordered the fillet mignon and salmon. Salmon and steak were delicious. We got an appetizer, the cheese dip, yummy. My son did not care for how the potatoes were cooked and for the carrots. He also did not like the mac and cheese, didn’t taste like Mac and cheese usually does. However, my husband loved it and says this is by far his favorite restaurant. My son should have probably ordered a burger.
We had an amazing experience at Bird Fire!! We were in town with family and friends for the holiday. Never been but someone recommended it. Josh was our server and from Hello, we knew we were in good hands and going to have a great time!! We asked about recommendations from appetizers to deserts, and we were not disappointed with any of Josh’s recommendations!! The food was amazing but the service was even more amazing! Josh kept it fun and his service was top notch!! Thank you Josh for making our time at Universal so enjoyable and FUN!!! If you go there to eat, ask for Josh!!! We will definitely be back!
Wildly surprised! Great food, service and ultimately the best price for the food at universal. I will be coming back with my family again! Highly recommend the smoked fish dip - that was absolutely amazing 🤩
What a great experience! We had here! Their staff where amazing and our server definitely went above and beyond! Definitely a great place to come with you’re family! Serving portion is very reasonable for the price! Flavor and taste is top quality freshness of the scallops I ordered where on point! You can tell they do order from
Scratch and it just make a huge difference! Definitely you guys if have the chance don’t hesitate us worthy trying this amazing restaurant!
Nice place to eat. Steaks are not prime quality in my opinion, but they are also not $75 or $100 a cut.
I think is priced correctly for what you get and the location they have. The burger, ceaser salad with steak and beef ribs are good choices. Very disappointed with the flowerless chocolate cake. Go for the s'mores on the desert.
In the heart of Orlando lies Big Fire restaurant with impressive ambiance. The gracious host, Alina, ensures a warm welcome. However, the experience was tainted by hasty service. Our server, Krist, hurried through dish introductions and mistakenly brought the check instead of the dessert menu. Speaking of dessert, an unsolicited "extra protein" in the form of a mosquito was an unwelcome surprise. Although Max stepped in to apologize, it did impact my overall impression. Another note: the electronic menus require phone signal or WiFi, last one, isn’t provided, leading to some awkward mid-meal stand-ups. From a price perspective, the establishment is on the steeper side. I paid $40 for a grouper 'catch of the day' which, while delicious, seemed overpriced.
Salmon was delicious!! Absolute favorite. As simple as a sweet tea can be made, boyfriend was surprised it was made nearly perfect for it just to be a tea. I think we had the crew with Jacobo on a Thursday night and they were all so friendly. Will be back!
