Our family had lunch today and the food, service and atmosphere were great. They have good classy salsa music and the volume was just right. We could talk and listen to each other. Even Willie came by to check on us and we talked for a while. It is a family oriented restaurant that we enjoyed.

Detoured here on my recent trip to Cape Canaveral and it was definitely worth it! I ordered the Carne Frita which is fried pork chunks with onions and peppers, served with mofongo, garlic bread, mayo ketchup sauce, cilantro sauce and lettuce, tomato, onion and cilantro. I really enjoyed this dish. It was so fresh and filling. The pork had a lot of fatty pieces so I ended up spitting out about a third of it. Some people like the fatty parts of the meat however, I do not. It was good but I'd try something different next time. The star of the show on this dish is definitely the mofongo. The freshness and homemade qualities are evident. I could have ate tons more of this! It was garlicy with a nice texture and not dry. I also tried the Pinchos de Camaron. The 3 pretty good sized shrimp were cooked well and had a great flavor. This too, was served with garlic bread. The cherry on top was the Piña Colada. It was made to order and just bursting with tropical flavor. It was nice, cold and refreshing. A great way to acclimate to the Florida humidity, just after landing! Service was great and food came out quickly. I haven't had a lot of Puerto Rican food but this has been my favorite so far. Thank you Willie's, I hope to return one day.

4.5 Finally made a visit after bookmarking this spot a year ago. I think my expectations were a tad too high but I am definitely not complaining. Food was very good, just didn't have the flavor explosion I was expecting. Service was great and the staff were all wearing mask. The tables were spaced out. Will go back and try the other menu items next time I'm in the area.

Mealz and DEALZ Review 👊🏼😋👊🏼 This place is a very well known restaurant for being featured on Guy’s Food Network Show DINERS DRIVE-INS DIVES 🙌🏼 So I knew I had to check this place out and give it my review on smell and taste. I’m originally from New York City and Being from the Boogy Down Bronx I’ve had some great Pinchos before. 1st The Smell Test 👉🏼 Right when you get to the parking lot you smell that aroma of A Very Latino Grandmother Just Cooking it up and it draws you right in. Once you get in it brings right to that island feel and it’s spot on. You get the feeling you around family and that’s how flavors are made lol. I had the Chicken Pincho as well as the Pork One and all I can say is OMG So Much juices from the meat and then the garlic toast to finish it all up 🤤. I now understand why Guy had to do a show there. I hope you enjoy this Latin Puerto Rican Cuisine. Mealz and Dealz Approved

Papas locas were delicious. Great food and atmosphere. Very friendly service. Portion was pretty small for the price, I would recommend to add more fried and meat to the plate.

The Carne Frita with Rice & Beans is the Real Thing. Delicious, tender, not too fatty but still very juicy. The Mofongo with Garlic shrimp was also delicious. We ordered there for take out and waited only about 12 minutes. Very friendly front counter young guy. It’s a drive for us but we will be back for that Carne Frita. Yum!

We were excited to try this place and have some pinchos but oh boy - they weren't that good (sad face). We ordered the pork pinchos expecting them to taste like the ones in P.R. but it was more like a smoked pork and the meat was so tough (hard!). Not at all what we thought. The chicken pinchos my daughter had were so hard, we couldn't finish them. I think it's because they use breast meat instead of thigh meat, so there is no fat and the chicken comes out very dry. They weren't good. We also had alcapurrias and the papas locas. Definitely a winner in our book. Both were good. For a place with the word "pinchos" in it, you'd think the pinchos would be the star of the menu but we've had much better ones at different food trucks around Orlando. They are nothing like the ones back in P.R. either. Will visit again just for the alcapurrias!

I decided to give it a try for the first time after a friend recommended them to me. I ordered the food to go and when I got home I was surprised with the flavor. I ordered biftec encebollado with mofongo and it was delicious!! I definitely look forward to return and enjoy eating at the restaurant.

I was in Orlando for the weekend and had this saved as a DDD place I wanted to visit so my husband and I called and ordered to go . When I got there it seemed they had lost my order so I had to wait for it to be made but I must admit it was worth the wait . I had the steak and pastrami plantain sandwich and it was good to the last bite . If I’m on that side of town again I would go back for sure .
