Excellent service, quality of food, atmosphere and very cold beer. Everything tasted like top of the line PR rest kudos to chef & super server Caroline. 100% recommend.
Fantastic authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! This is not a fast food place (even though you can order to go), it is a family style sit down restaurant and as an added Super Bonus ask for JONATHAN. This young man knows what service is all about! Very personable and so very attentive. If I could give 10 stars I would do so happily!
PS the prices are very fair for high quality food.
Visit this place for a quick early dinner. The food was very good and also great and friendly service. The price is a bit higher that I think it should be, but the portions of food are good. I had white rice, red beans, and fried pork chops. I will definitely go again as I will like to try different dishes.
The food was absolutely delicious! It did take a little while for food to come out and the server did forget to bring us drinks and stuff upon ordering. It was empty since we went during the week, so I don't know how much slower it would be if we went while it was busy.
This was absolutely💯 a great experience! The service was amazing, and I wish I could remember our waiters name, but he was just awesome!!! The food was perfect and keeps you wanting more. Loved it and will return.
Amazing atmosphere great service and the quality of their food is to die for. True and authentic Puerto Rican food. Thanks to Janniel our waiter for your patience carisma and excellent service. You made the wait worth waiting.
The restaurant looks beautiful inside Alex Maldonado was taking care of me he was amazing what a great guy with a great personality. He knew just what to get and the food was so good thank you Alex for the great food choices! I will come back again I wanted to add that I loved how he refilled my drinks with out me asking now that's what you call a great server 😉
Authentic food from Puerto Rico. It is fresh, made to order, large portions and tasty. It can get a bit heavy as they cook a lot of items with pork and/or pork fat (at least what was ordered) or it is fried and rich, so be ready to end with a full stomach. Tried various desserts and those were good too. Overall, a good choice.
Food is always delicious. All the entries here are really good. The service was great. The octopus was delicious. Also, the fried plantains were perfect. Just the way I like.
OMG! There are not enough stars to rate this place. Their mofongo is out of this world delicious! Tried the sangria and it was really good as well. Everything I have ordered here have been delicious! I have no complaints. It is not cheap but they serve quality and I rather pay a little more and enjoy the food. If you want good Puerto Rican food this is a good place.
Absolutely pure Puerto Rican food top quality flavor. Total Food heaven. The best server Alex made good recommendations and provide courteous service.
The food was great. The taste was authentic just like in PR. The price was little high but I understand this is specialty food. If you dont mind paying a little more for quality then this is the place to eat. Our only drawback was paying $3 for 3 small pieces of avocado. Too much for 3 very small pieces. Being from PR we are used to large avocados. We expected bigger pieces. Other than that it was a good visit. You must visit at least once.
I ordered the mofongo and it was as delicious as i had heard. Alex was my server and was the best. I'm new to Puerto Rican food and he took plenty of time to explain the items on the menu and even sent me on my way with a to-go lemonade.
Today myself and my family visited Achiote for the first time. I rarely post reviews but I have to share the amazing experience we had today. What a treat to eat my own authentic Ruerto Rican food that was of high quality matched by excellent service especially by our Waiter, Johnathan. Johnathan made us feel like we were at home surrounded by love and family. Today this is so rare that I have to give a special shout out to Achiote for doing the Puert Rican heritage justice! Thank you!
The price on the online menu is wrong. I ordered 2 navedeño online is $12.39 each when I got there it was 14.$$ each for a total of $31.$$ that's not right.
When I told the young lady she said it has been mentioned to the owner and he does nothing about. No issue with the taste of the food.
The food was very good! The service also was on point. Location has plenty of parking. The atmosphere was a little off as was the A/C in the place. It was definitely a little on the warm side. The prices were a little hogh but overall it was a good place to eat
