A very nice restaurant with unique food.
This is a chain of restaurants based in the United States that started with its first location in Homewood Alabama. Currently, this chain boasts over 50 stores as of October 2022. Two of these stores are in Orlando and this particular Zoe’s restaurant is located in a large shopping center on the northwest corner of the intersection of SR 408 and North Alafaya Trail. Depending on the day and the traffic, this shopping center can get busy and the parking lot may be a challenge to maneuver. This was the case on the day that I visited. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the store. There is seating inside and out. The menu has a middle eastern flavor to it with items like pitas, lamb, and tzatziki sauce. You order and pay at the counter and within minutes the food is brought to your table. The staff was friendly and, as this was my first visit to this restaurant, very helpful in guiding me to a good food selection. My meal came out quickly and was delicious. The inside area was clean. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that I would recommend to hungry travelers visiting the area. Enjoy.
Great Mediterranean(-esque) fast-serve restaurant at Waterford Lakes.
My favorite menu items would be the kebabs -- the steak kebabs are extraordinary; the chicken kebabs are pretty good, too (though a bit dry by comparison, and I think are best with a bit of dipping sauce). For sides, my favorite would be the roasted vegetables, but the grilled potato salad is pretty good, too. For dipping sauce options, I love the spicy aioli (which is not really THAT spicy).
This location has a nice outdoor-seating "porch" built into the corner of the building (a definite bonus for me in the cooler months).
In our experience, the serving staff are friendly and helpful, the dining area is clean and comfortable, and the food portion sides are generous. All-around positive experience.
I came here with a friend on a day off from work I had, because it was Mediterranean, cheap, and it was closeby. I discovered it using Google Maps. We got here and it felt very Panera. Fast casual. A very good vibe. A very clean store. Very friendly employees.
I got the Turkey Avocado Sandwich (Sliced turkey breast, Spicy Hummus, smashed avocado, spring mix, and sliced tomatoes served on sourdough bread). This sandwich was very nice. The turkey was plentiful and moist, avocado was a great creamy element that is an excellent replacement for mayo, and the bread was that perfect combo of crispy and chewy. Dynomite. And don't get me started on how much I love hummus as a condiment and not just a dip. Yumm.
Got my side, I got the Roasted Vegetables. A bunch of broccoli, onions, and mushrooms. They're literally just roasted. No seasoning, very bland, which is the whole point, so I enjoyed them, but I'm just warning you.
I also had a bowl of the Chicken & Orzo Soup (Our take on the classic chicken noodle soup, with orzo and a hint of lemon. Served with pita). Delicious soup! Plentiful amounts of chicken and orzo. They really packed it in here. I was pleased. Definitely recommend.
Overall, this was a great little visit to a great little chain.
