Been visiting on and off for years. Recently started visiting again after being away for several years-have been 3 times in the last month.
Wings are very good. Burgers are very good. Prices are very reasonable.
Minimal staff, so it isn't exactly speedy service. Of course, who doesn't struggle with staffing in the food industry?
Atmosphere could use some spritzing up/deep cleaning/maintenance (is periodic deep cleaning even a thing anymore anywhere?)
Bingo night is very popular, as we found out unexpectedly the other night when we popped in for a bite. Next time we may plan to be there on time and join in. Pretty healthy cash prizes and a very good bingo caller/host.
Overall, 4 out of 5. Just remember it's a private place, not a chain. To me that's a plus, but your mileage may vary.
Went To Jax For Karaoke Thursday Night With "Sickman" Had A Blast! They Have A Ton Of Beers On Tap and The Chicken Philly with Fries Was Banging! I'll definitely be Back!
Was in town for some job training, decided to give Jax a try. Well I can tell you this place was A-1. Ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with a couple of Mangocart Wheat beers, it was fantastic! It was so good, I brought a couple of my buddy's there to check it out. No complaints. And our waitress Anna was also fantastic, very attentive always checking to see if we needed anything. Would recommend Jax on 5th Ave to anyone visiting the Lake Mary area!
The service was good, but the fries were kind of cold, I did like the Chicken sandwich but my preference I would go with a softer bun, A great atmosphere for all types of families singles or couples, I will try again while I’m in town the chicken wings will let you know
The staff and delicious food make this a great place to dine.
We were supposed to have my daughter-in-law baby shower at another location in Lake Mary, however at the last minute it fell through! The manager at Jax 5. was so accommodating and so nice.
I will always be thankful for their support and making the back room available for our party. Thank you so coming through for my DIlL first baby!
We had a great time playing bingo. The announcer was very personable & funny. The food & drinks were delicious!
Super amazing chill atmosphere. The service is A+ & the food and beer is great !
Family friendly restaurant
My family & I will definitely be back.
I love it here! I’m always here for bingo with big money prizes and it’s a really fun atmosphere. The bingo caller is really funny. Great drink and food specials. Probably the best wings in central Florida. The owner Chris is very nice and accommodating.
Went there to play bingo on Tuesdays. Did not eat so can't tell you about that. Drink were good people there were great. I lost!
Food was decent, ordered the tots extra crispy and they were good. Bacon cheeseburger and for being the "Florida's best" I wasn't impressed. And prime rib sliders, all typical bar food nothing to rave about. Picture below!
But what was awesome about this place is they have 60 beers on tap including Delerium and framboise which are rare and not as likely to find. It made it well worth it!
Cool laid back atmosphere, there was a wedding party on the patio that was fun to see everyone having a good time!!
Wow, this place rocks. The wife had the best burger she has ever had in a long long time. Our server was Tyler and he was awesome. This place is at the top for food and service. Check it out for yourselves.
Went with a large group, sat outside during their popular and busy bingo night. The staff was attentive and quick, food and drinks came out quickly. Plenty of beers on tap and went through atleast 5 different appetizers.
Great place to grab a casual bite w friends, watch spring events on the many tvs, enjoy full liquor bar. Rustic log cabin feel inside is charming. Food is good but has room for improvement. I had the chicken Philly & it was a bit bland event with mushrooms, peppers, & onions. I had loaded fries with it w cheese, bacon bits, etc. It can't get a bit loud in there. But service was really great. Food came out fast. I'd go again.
Overall a very laid back atmosphere. An older crowd but very nice people. The staff is friendly and warm. Kid friendly place as well. The menu is moderately priced. Some items are hit or miss though. I haven't had everything there but so far the Chicken sandwich is one of my favorite items. Mac N Cheese bites however were the most underwhelming item I've had so far. Wouldn't recommend except maybe for young kids.
Beer prices are pretty good, especially during happy hour. They do have a larger amount of taps than an average bar too. Another unique thing about this place is they regularly host bingo a few nights a week and it can get packed. Live music (mainly acoustic type stuff) in the patio Friday nights. I wish they would do full-on tribute/cover bands though. Overall a cool place. Especially if you're fortunate enough to live close enough to walk over or come in a golf cart.
This place is a diamond in the rough. It's tucked back so that unless you happened to see their lights at night, you wouldn't know it was there. They have 60 beers on tap! You should try this place if you're within 10 miles of it. You won't be disappointed.
