The eggplant parm tower special was awesome, as was all our food. This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!
The brickhouse is one of our fav places! Great food, Good selection of craft beer and the wait staff is very friendly. I must say the recent menu change is great. I love that they source local businesses for their ingredients.
My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary with dinner at The Brick house Grill. The service was top notch. Our waiter was prompt, informative and knowledgeable about the food and craft beers and wines. The food was excellent!! I had the roasted duck which was prepared just as I asked and my husband's salmon was great. Definitely will be a restaurant we will return to again and again!

Excellent service and great menu......Garlic bread ahead of meal gets two thumbs up....I had the tuna appetizer and a veggie wrap with sweet potato fries .... Uniquely delicious ....I would definitely return to this establishment and wouldn't hesitate to bring someone I was trying to impress
We are the owners of Herrings Green Grass Farm...the Brickhouse is pretty much our only restaurant that we work with and it has been a PLEASURE! Our customers always rave about the dishes on the feature menu that are prepared with our Berkshire pork and pasture raised chicken. We love it too because we are picky about meat and love being able to enjoy meat that we have raised on our farm.
Had dinner there tonight, absolutely excellent! Everything was terrific! Service was stellar! Can not rave about it enough!!

We went there last night for the first time while visiting a friend who lives in Cressona. We had an amazing experience. It was a Saturday night and was a last minute decision to check it out, so we didn't have reservations. Even though it was still quite crowded for 8pm, our lack of reservations didn't phase them; we got seated almost immediately. All staff that we had any interaction with were super friendly and helpful. They had a good craft beer selection and there was lots on the food menu to choose from. The complimentary bread was delicious as were all our meals. The highlights were my husband's asparagus/bacon appetizer and my stir fry. My husband is still talking about that asparagus! The stir fry had a house made sauce that was just so yummy. The only problem my party had was that my husband had asked for his burger done to medium, and our friend asked for medium-rare, after a couple of bites it was apparent that the doneness of the burgers had been mixed up, but it was no big deal- they both still enjoyed! Also it is a little pricy, so it wouldn't be a place that I would go to once a week or anything, but we will be back!

We like our lunch choices, coupled with an beau day outdoors, cherry flakes dancing in the air. It has a feel of a city cafe situated in the countryside. The coconut curry is beautiful, not too much for.lunch, and the filo pastry with the ham and pork inaide was simply perfect. I would say the services could have been more efficient. Given it is seemingly new, 4 out of 5 stars sounds fair.
Wonderful menu selection even some vegan and keto friendly options. Great Beer selection as well. While back in town we went for round two and once again The Brickhouse delivered! Wonderful food.
They have some delicious dishes such as their burgers and their black and Bleu. We ordered their $16 crab dip. We were extremely disappointed to say the least.
Plenty of bread, but the crab dip didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl. Had this not been a take-out order, it would have been returned.
I appreciated the owner's response. I'm not asking for a credit or anything free.
My review was based on my order. Based on the owner's response, that is the measured amount of crab dip used in their $16 appetizer.
Other customers may feel that is a generous portion. I personally feel that it should at the very least, cover the bottom of container.
We love many of the other selections here. We will continue to patronize The Brickhouse.
I really enjoyed this place.. Clean, clean, and family friendly atmosphere! My server Win was very attentive, honest and answered every question I had with perfection. My family and I will be back! Wait did mention the wingssss?? Perfect! Burgers and quesadilla warm and delicious.
Reservations recommended especially for the weekend. The food was terrific the serving size is plentiful. Loved the house salad as well. The salted caramel margarita was amazing. IMO the wagyu steak is an absolute must try. I do not live in the area anymore but will be back.
Our 'go-to' restaurant in the area with great food specials and an awesome menu. The Brickhouse has a varied and awesome selection of draft and bottled beer and in our opinion, the best darned quality burgers to go along with fantastic entrees. Staff is excellent and attentive to your every need. I highly endorse Joe Mattera and crew for a memorable night out!!
