Stopped here on vacation with my wife and friends. I ordered 2 pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage. The pancakes were very good and huge. The food was hot and fresh. The place looks like an old sonic drive in, we sat outside due to overcrowding on the inside. I'll come back here for sure
Another great meal. Probably the best corned beef hash ever! The staff is very friendly and the food comes out very fast. Outdoor seating opened today.

Best ever. My absolute favorite place. A friend recommended this place to us. It's a new favorite. The biscuits and gravy, vegetable quiche, and breakfast quesadilla are all outrageous. The owner is friendly, and the staff is amazing.
Best Breakfast!. A boat salesman recommended the Pancake House, and it was great advice. It is delicious food with HUGE portions. No matter how hungry you think you might be, DO NOT order a full serving of anything. The portions are insanely big, and so good that you will eat all of it.
The service is top-notch, friendly, patient, and quite helpful. The chef even came out and made sure that we were enjoying his creations.
Is there a downside? Not for the food or service. However, it is a small hole in the wall place with limited parking. Signage is adequate, if you are looking for it. I wish I had thought to take a photograph of the front of the building to post here.

Great Great Great!. We went a little after noon on a Thursday. We had a party of seven and waited about 10 minutes max. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Very cheap prices as well. Can't go wrong here - we will be back!!
Great breakfast. Ate here for the first time two days in a row. Food great, pancakes tender,scrambled eggs fluffy,sausage gravy peppery,bacon meaty and savory. Service friendly. Owned by a husband and wife who take pride in their restaurant and they truly appreciate the customers. Did I mention it is a bargain? This is not fancy food (well maybe the bananas foster French toast is) but it is high quality stick to your ribs food and it won't break your budget.
Best breakfast at the lake...you won't be disappointed!!
Best breakfast place in Osage Beach. Better than any other place no matter the price, which is cheaper than that bistro place.

Wonderful Mom and Pop place!. We are staying at the TanTarA resort and decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. The resort is always pricey, of course. So we found the Pancake House just about 5 minutes away. It's a small, 25 seat diner that is family owned and operated. The service was prompt, friendly, and professional with a nice homey touch. The menu is very economical and varied enough for a breakfast/lunch place. The coffee was very good; the only complaint I have is that they offer only creamer, not real cream or even half and half. Our waitress was kind enough to bring us skim milk. I was sorry that they don't even half whole or 2% milk - sort of strange, don't you think? But I digress.
The eggs were perfectly prepared and the portions were rather substantial without being obscene. I ordered a ham steak with my eggs and English muffin. It didn't disappoint! It was thick and very savory. (I don't care for sugar cured ham and this wasn't!) My husband ordered French toast with his breakfast. They were also wonderful (I had to have a taste...). They're made with cinnamon swirl bread that is substantial enough to hold up to the battering and frying. Wonderful!
We will most likely eat breakfast there for the remainder of our stay at the resort.
Go out and support the local economy wherever you are! It's well worth it.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I'm a chef and this is where I go for breakfast when I don't fell like making it myself. Hands down the BEST breakfast at the Lake. I haven't had anything on their menu that I didn't love, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. There might be a wait on the weekends but it is well wort the wait.

The food is delicious, made to order from scratch, large quantities, at reasonable price. The pancake is larger than the plate. 1 is more than enough! Everything is garnished for a great presentation.

From the moment we walked in to the time we left, it was an amazing experience. The ladies and gents working are quirky and funny and sweet as all get out!! From the servers, to the food to the atmosphere everything was bangin'!! I had the bananas foster French toast, to DIE for, legit beyond delish!! Hubs had the steak and eggs breakfast and I've never seen more perfect hash browns!
A great little diner experience off the highway with a lovely view! The staff were so friendly and white fun to chat with when there's a slow spot in the rush. It has all the best vibes of a waffle house while supporting your local businesses ✨
I eat here all the time and I cant tell anyone enough about how fantastic this place is, the staff Alyssa, Sasha, Nicole, Megan, Chelsea and Debbie are the sweetest bunch guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. The food is beyond delicious I honestly don't know how they have such good prices with as good as the food is such an amazing environment to eat breakfast. 100 out of 10 everytime
Food is delicious! Service is wonderfully hilarious! The customers are fun and friendly. Loved how the lady ordered ice water on the patio this morning. That's was the start and it just kept on rolling. I haven't walked away from a restaurant feeling full, satisfied and laughing hard in a long time. Keep it up. The orange cranberry muffins was to die for!
This place is a great little breakfast gem in an old Sonic. First off, the portions are huge, the hubs and I could have easily shared. My mark of a great breakfast place is good Hashbrowns, and this place doesn't let you down, crispy and golden brown. It's not too big inside, but there's a nice patio upfront that is covered. The waitstaff was great, our waitress was especially kind, offering to go drinks and giving recommendations on things to do in the area.
