Nice all around place to visit during your stay at the Ozarks. You can be inside or outside and either one would be great. FYI, the drinks flow quite a bit during the daytime and even more in the evening. Everything on the menu is done very well and would order again. We were there during a sporting dog competition, and it was a blast to see how dog friendly this place is.
If you have a boat, the dock staff are great regardless of the type of boat.
Food was good. I would have given 5 stars but they put is right in front of the door all the servers used. They also put us at a low table in the back. We were hoping for a view of more of the lake not just what we could see of the docks. Food was really good. I got the seafood nachos and they were huge! The plate was almost as wide as the chair!
Good food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Brought both our dogs on leashes off the water for a weekday lunch. Bowl of water for the dogs. Plenty of staff. Fair price. Burnt ends sandwhich, tender meat. MahiMahi sandwhich was excellent. Burger and Turkey Club were good. The fried shrimp was a super tasty app. The Crab Rangoon app wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked personally, but wasn't bad. Good time, good service.
This is one of our favorite pool bar & restaurants on the lake. The food is fantastic and so is the service. The pool is clear and clean, and the drinks are great. There is a 21+ pool and a kid pool (like 10 an under). It would be even better if the teenagers 17-20yo could also hang in the adult pool.
Stopped in on our way back home to Joplin from a work trip to Columbia. We had a super pleasant experience from the moment we pulled into the parking lot to the time we left.
It is off season so it was quiet and laid back and we had fun with the servers and then walked down by the water!
I had the banana cream pie drink with a screwball floater and it was the best drink EVER! They were accommodating to my gluten intolerance and we will be back in the summer for the full chaotic pool experience!! 🙌🏼
Pretty cool restaurant on the water, we had pulled pork nachos and Monday margaritas$6 - blood orange flavor was the best! Pool was nice- lots of seating. Great service!
Great place with swim up bar. Nicest pool bar we have found. Great drinks food could be better, bones in my pulled pork and fries not for me.
What a great place! Plenty of boat parking, pool was not too crowded, great server!
On a local's recommendation we visited. We arrived late afternoon and were lucky to grab a nice shaded spot. The kids really enjoyed the kiddie pool and we were able to relax a little while keeping an eye on them. The drinks were way overpriced in my opinion. Paid $12 for a drink and that was without thr rum floater they try to upsale for and addition $2.50. We had a plate of nachos and they were phenomenal. The problem was I guess servers sometimes make their rounds to get drinks for people at tables like we were at but no one ever did. So we had to go to the bar to order drinks and food and wait there. There is a restaurant you can go in to eat but we didn't venture in because the kids were having too much fun in the pool.
Really happy with this place. Pet friendly patio over looking the lake. All the staff were welcoming and friendly (even to my pups) which was nice to see.
Decent menu, it was nice to see some original items on it.
Cocktail menu was great too. I appreciated the “skinny drinks” portion.
I was truly impressed though by the generous portion of meat in the beef tacos. Definitely get your monies worth!
Was not even looking to try Dog Days until we were recommended it by some locals the evening before. Atmosphere looked like it was a lot of fun & had a beautiful view of the lake. My wife & I both ordered burgers that were amazing! Also had some very tasty drinks while we were waiting for our food. Will definitely return & spend more time there the next time we are in the Ozarks.
Great place to stop for some drinks and and bite to eat on the lake. They have awesome swim up bar for over 21 and one for everyone else too.
Foods good, service was quick and accurate. Neat beach atmosphere with boat parking and a swim up bar. The parking is a bit odd.
One of our favorite lakeside establishments! Dog Days has transformed their bar with the addition of the pool area. It's such a great atmosphere and so relaxing. Swim-up bar and tables in the pool. Separate pool for the kiddos. Lots of loungers and comfy places to sit and relax and people watch. But get there early to grab a cushioned sofa. It seem like every time we go back they have added on and made more improvements. Great view of the lake and always a fun time. The food is really good. Love their mahi mahi!
Attentive staff, awesome swim up bar. The 21+ pool was a plus. Drinks are pretty average price, plenty of variety. Definitely a place you can post up for the day, especially with a great food menu.
We arrived in the ozarks later in the evening on a Friday during the shootout weekend and decided to try dog days. We were not disappointed. The server was so sweet and attentive despite how busy they were. Everyone's orders looked fantastic, and tasted even better! We went back the next day and had a few drinks and a couple of apps. Again, food was exceptional and service was great. Thank you all for being awesome đź‘Ś
Started raining when we were out on the boat so we docked to get a bite. Restaurant was busy for a Thursday afternoon but our server was great, food was good, and appreciated the person holding the umbrella over our food when it was brought to our table. Only thing that could’ve been better was the dock girl coming up from her table and directing us which slip to take/tied us off. She didn’t notice us until we walked by her when she looked up from her phone.
