The service was AWESOME! Everyone was very friendly and attentive, especially with our two toddlers who were being difficult. They even gave them each two lollipops!
We had cheese sticks, a cheese pizza, and two calzones, and it was all amazing! Crispy crust, flavorful ingredients, and the marinara is to die for!

Fried chicken, Italian sausage, pepporoni, and onions... ALL on pizza!!! Try it, and thank me later. I've tried every pizza place in town and this is the best.

I thought this place was pretty good, but not as good as most people say. The crust didn't have much crunch to it, but it had great flavor. It's decently priced, but you have to go pick it up. The friendly staff makes me want to love this pizza, but I can't bring myself to going that far. I can honestly say that I will be eating this pizza again though. It's better than dominos or papa johns
The best pizza I've had, period. If you're in Oxford, you have to try it. The business hours are odd, so you have to catch them while they're open, but it's worth the hassle.
FANTASTIC. The pizza here reminds me of when I visit New York. The pizza is amazing and so is the homemade root beer.
Finally! REAL Pizza in the South.. I love the South and I love the food native to the South, but this is the first legitimately good pizza that I have eaten in my 6 years of living here (time in both MS and LA). If you have lived in the South for your whole life, you must, must must try this pizza.

The Old Lady (Mother) Needs to Retire from 6nTubbs. I like the food, I tolerate the cash only, but I frown every time I have to deal with the old Lady (Mother). I would patronize the place 2X as much if the mother stayed out of the business.
Yes, I have a mother too, I too know all the benefits of staying active in your senior years, and doing something meaningful, and I know the subject mother is a nice person, live and let live, but we customers have high expectations for customer service, and we are a very fickle bunch. If we don't get treated well at Tubbs, there are a dozen other pizzerias in town, authentic New York pizza be damned.
My specific complaints with the mother are: she never greets you, nor does she say goodbye, and has never thanked me, even after I just handed her a pile of cash. Paying the mother is like paying a long overdue debt to your bookie.
If you take exception with something the house did, the mother has, on two separate occasions, said to me: "If you don't like it, that's just the way it is". One example of this was: I was waiting for a new slice-pie to come out of the oven [Jackson store], maybe 15-minutes. When I eventually got my slices, she gave me the aging dry slices in the display, when I very specifically said I down't want the display slices, I'll wait for a new slice-pie to come out".
When I took exception to the switch, she told me "if you don't like it, that's just the way is is". Honest injun, I'm serious, it stops you dead in your tracks, because you're so astonished by her utterances.
Excellent calzone, full of flavor great price. If we are back in Oxford we will deffentely be back.
Pizza was excellent and was ready really fast! We got a salad to share, and have leftover pizza for lunch!
We ate at 6 n Tubbs a couple of weeks ago. The pizza was delicious, but you better have cash and be able to wait for your pizza. I was told it would take an hour for a whole pizza and when I asked about the slices I was told 20 minutes. Our wait was closer to 45 minutes and we didn't get the type of pizza we had ordered. We should have just ordered the whole pizza for as long as we waited. Next time we'll place an order in andvance.
THE BEST!. Finally tried 6 N TUBBS. Won't ever be going anywhere else! Primal pizza actually because it is just like the pizza of my childhood in the Bronx. Best pizza in Oxford- there's nothing even close!
Actual NY pizza in Oxford. I am a native New Yorker and a pizza snob. This is the real thing. Dennis is a culinary school graduate and a NY guy; he ships in the best ingredients and knows what he's doing. If I was back in NY, I'd eat here. Fantastic place. Also recommend the stromboli.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. My husband and I are native NY'ers, that is to say, we have very strong opinions about pizza. 6 n Tubbs is by far, THE BEST pizza south of the Mason -Dixon. We have lots of out of state guests, and they have all been impressed.
And, almost as important as their incredible pizza, the service is fast and efficient. Finally, and this is just a bonus, the owner and his mom are lovely. Go on in and say hey, and eat a pie ... or two.

Best Pizza Joint in Town!!. This is the most authentic experience you will get of a New Your Pizzeria, south of the mason dixon line. The food is always great, hot and fresh, but the staff is what makes it a true family experience. A mother and son who serve your every need!! The pizza is fantastic, but the clazone is my favorite!! Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. You will not find a more authentic pizza joint. Everything is great but I would specially recommend the pepperoni rolls.

Inconsistent. We've had some of the best pizza ever here and some very average pizza. The pizza is never bad, but it is inconsistent. The owner and his mom are very friendly.
Went for the first time tonight. Had the Stromboli - it was delicious! Also had a taste of the cheese pizza. It too was great! All very fresh ingredients.
Aside from the weird name, this is a great pizza joint. The pizza is thin but not too thin and tastes great. The owner is friendly and very chatty, he even gave us free stuff when he learns it was our first visit. Will definitely be returning!
I have tried the New York Style pizza and the Calzone and enjoyed both. I do not eat much pizza, but will definitely eat here again. Have told several people about the taste and quality food served.

Decided to try this place and man I’m so glad I did! My friend and I were able to get a 12inch pizza, 6 garlic knots, and 2 cokes for only $15!! The food itself was very good but the atmosphere is what makes the place in my opinion. The owner was the most genuine person I’ve ever met and really made sure we were taken care of. I definitely recommend and will be returning!!
This is the best pizza place in Oxford! My Husband and I have tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all great! Our favorite is the pizza poppers. We can eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you’re looking for a new pizza spot you can’t go wrong here!
Warm atmosphere, very friendly owner, generous sizes, and delicious food. I got a Stromboli here and my wife got a pizza bowl. Both were phenomenal and we both have a lot of leftovers. If you’re in Oxford and craving some pizza, don’t pass up 6 n Tubbs.
We ordered a half pepperoni/half cheese pizza to go. I really liked the crust, but there wasn’t enough sauce and it almost tasted too salty. I want to try another specialty pizza and see if this was just a one-time thing. The prices were pretty high.
