The food is great. The service is wonderful, attentive staff. It's noisy but I'd be back in a heartbeat, it's a great place to eat.
Best restaurant in Oxford. Can't wait till soft shell crabs are in season! Gary the owner always comes out of the kitchen after working hard for some great dishes. Great place to eat at bar, several patrons love to eat there, especially if you are in the presence of Nicole the bartender. You'll feel right at home
I have loved Brookside my entire life. I have tried probably close to everything on the menu. I've never had a bad meal. Pasta is homemade. Staff lovely.
Excellent service and food couldn’t believe I never been there before. Can’t wait until next Friday to go again. Lobster was steamed to perfection!
We had our reception at Brookside Inn on May 30th of this year. We had a buffet style luncheon with food that was absolutely amazing! Tracy and her entire staff were fantastic and very accommodating! My guests were very happy with the rustic, laid back atmosphere and of course, the delicious food! We've been there for dinner once a month since that day. We had our small 20 people wedding lunch at Brookside Inn on Saturday 8 July 2017. All the food was placed hot and intime for everyone to eat together, fresh and prepared to perfection. No drinks delay. Great fast Service from start to check out. Certainly well priced. Will not hesitate to refer Brookside Inn or plan my next eatery there. Can not beat the salad bar and the selection! The daily specials and the weekly specials are fantastic! I had the blackened salmon over greens with Gorgonzola and a walnut cranberry dressing. So good! The bartender makes excellent martinis too..�

What a fantastic place to come enjoy a meal! They have been in business for decades, and their good reputation is well deserved. The restaurant is easy to find on Route 67, and there is lots of parking. There are two dining areas, and a large bar as well. Also outdoor seating too! Staff is very friendly, but the real star of the show is the food! High quality fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly. I had an order of clams casino, they were super tasty, and the shrimp cocktail included 5 huge shrimp that were so firm and good, each one was worth 2 bites! The French onion soup was stellar, loaded with tons of gooey cheese & onions. I had the chicken "Gypsy" style, which is sauteed with sausage, roasted potatoes, vinegar peppers, and a tangy wine sauce that was delicious! My friends had the homemade lobster ravioli, chicken Marsala, and homemade gnocchi with braised pork and a great tomato sauce. Everyone was pleased with the large portions and fair prices. Finished off the meal with some Sambuca, which came in a snifter with the traditional 3 coffee beans. We all had leftovers to take home, and had full bellies & satisfied smiles on our faces. I highly recommend coming here, and will return again soon!
I've been here a few times before. Came for a birthday dinner. I ordered the Scarpellio and it was seriously one of the best dishes I ever had. Chicken breast in a light sauce, broccoli rabe, cherry peppers and fried potatoes. It was perfect, would not change anything. The portion was great. Our server Samantha was awesome and very sweet. Love this place.
The service was extremely great. I was served by waitress Jenna and she communicated very well and was the best to talk to. She was kind and brought out the food pretty fast. 10/10
We had a great time! They make their own pasta there! Pre fix menu selection was awesome! I'd go here again. Dinner for 2 was reasonably priced. $60 with tip and extra apps to try. More food than you can eat. Yummy left overs to bring home. They have a salad bar with homemade bread! I totally recommend that. Its included with the meals. Such a homey feeling when you walk in. Waitress was very friendly and on point with our needs. She brought fresh house made limoncello at the end. Such a treat! You've got to try this place if you're in the area.
This is my favorite restaurant everybody is excellent and the owner is in the kitchen all the time the place is run like a well-oiled machine very consistent I highly recommend it!!!
