I went in yesterday for Father’s Day and I was thinking it was going to be an hour wait but no it was a 30 minuet wait. It went by quick, I never had to do a complaint or anything about waiting over too much. The service is on point and every one is friendly. The food is amazing too. I will be going back. Me and my family had a good time. The waitresses keep a check on you not in an annoying type of way but they make sure you have a smooth and a good experience with them. Loved it 👌🏼👕😋

Regardless of the prices, this place is good. Only once every couple months though even less. Food is great, but it all depends on how you make it!

I was there for a birthday celebration. It was a party of 7. We ate, we laughed and had an enjoyable experience. Food was phenomenal. Loved the pork belly, KFC wings, garlic chicken, kimche, and this little potato ball with corn. Yummy. Servers were helpful and polite.

Fast service and good food. Very convenient. It did not take us a lot of wait time, especially on weekdays.

Our family favorites restaurants ,We loved this place. I did not need any of the sauces for the meat as they were marinated to perfection. Our waitress was very help and pleasant.

Quick Summary Very much enjoyed the AYCE Korean BBQ at this Gen location. Service is a hit or miss, but it really comes down to how busy they are (e.g. weekends are hectic so a bit harder to find your server, but they're always really fast with food deliveries). Food quality is pretty good. It's a pretty well-run chain location Food- 4.5 stars Food quality is pretty good for $30 Korean BBQ AYCE. It's a hit or miss sometimes, because some dishes can be slightly too sweet. But otherwise, you really can't beat the quality at this value. Service- 4 stars If it's a weekday, it's fantastic. But sometimes weekends can be difficult, where you have to hunt down your server Parking- plenty of street and lot parking Bottom Line Fantastic AYCE Korean BBQ experience. It's a popular and successful chain for a reason. Love the Yelp waitlist check in. Just try to avoid busy times to get the best service

This place has 30 options for their Regular option which is more than I’m used to getting. There wasn’t a higher tier option but with the amount of choices I had, I don’t feel like one was necessary. The list includes seafood options of shrimp and octopus which I usually see on other restaurants top tier option. Staff was attentive and friendly. I liked that they had a grill case to carry the hot grill they removed to protect customers when walking about but at the same time some seemed a little lax with how they handled them. Did have an issue splitting check in two

It is THE korean bbq place in oxnard. 30 items on the menu, $26.99 per person. Meat was good and our server was attentive. Only thing I’d mention is when checking in on Yelp, you still have to check in with the front desk staff, wait another 15-30 min, then be seated. Plan ahead when going in a group.

This place really put me in the tough spot to write this review. My husband and I came from LA county and we might be used to with real Korean bbq in Korea town,That’s why this place quite a disappointed. First of all the ban chan or side dishes,That was the first things suppose to be on the table with varieties of yummy veggies, pickles, salad, kimchi etc. doesn’t matter you’ll eat all of them or not because that’s How Original Korean people do when they eat Korean bbq but with this place you’ll have to order those side dishes with your server,They’ll not bring it unless you ask for,Which I have never experience this in any Korean bbq place I’ve been to.I understand they might try to save cost by not wasting those left over side dishes but it’s just not How Korean bbq place suppose to be. Meat quality was not great but wasn’t bad either,I would give them a OK quality. The most disappointed item I would have to give it to “Thin Slice Beef Brisket” Though.Normally when you put this kind of brisket on the grilled it would almost melted and when you eat the texture should be soft and melted into your mouth but the brisket here was tough and chewy,Which this was my first time I had a slice brisket that was this hard. Another things I have to talk about was the tofu stew soup. They serve in a small bowl with a plastics spoon just like what you get from a cheap buffet.I have never seen any Korean bbq place does that! It will usually serve in a hot stone bowl,So it will remain hot for a while but the soup taste wasn’t bad,It’s was another a OK again. The best things on this visit was staffs,They are all so great! Make sure we got what we want,Grilled had changed as much as we want,Every time someone walked by they’re always make sure we’re doing ok,Love it! So the stars was basically for the service. Overall in my personal opinion,This place wasn’t a great or awesome Korean bbq but it’s wasn’t bad either,It was OK. Will we come back for a second time when we’re in the area? We’ll have to think hard about it.

Food was good atmosphere good. My one complaint is only because I’ve never been before, I had no idea how the ordering and quantity worked. I would have liked to see the server or hostess explain how it works, what can be ordered how many of each if applicable etc. four of us and only one was an adult that ate only a gyoza appetizer and it cost 175.00. I didn’t say anything because I wasn’t sure what to say.otherwise a fun new experience!

One of my favorite places to eat in all of Ventura County. Definitely recommend the pork belly and baby octopus. Really like their CapriSun looking drinks!
