This is a great low-key place to go for music and quiz night. The wine never disappoints, and the owner Beth goes out of her way to welcome people to the wine bar. We are transplants to Pacifica from the city and appreciate the way A Grape in the Fog has added to our experience.
Great service and reasonable prices. Also an amazing area!
One of my favorite places in Pacifica. They are open, outside seating Wed. - Sat. 4-8. They have everything in order for Covid. We were so happy to support a local business! Definitely check it out!🍷
Can I give this place 10 stars please? Firstly, it's a local wine bar with so many different wines from California and the west coast. The owner, Beth is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. The staff and all the prep work it must take to be serving everything outdoors because of this covid thing is IMPRESSIVE. Thank you for letting me taste so many terrific wines.
As a visitor to A Grape in the Fog, I was welcomed by Pacifica, CA native, Christine who provided outstanding service, with a gentle smile and calm nature. The vibe was young "Girls Night Out" mixed with sagely patrons, and a cool (but not hip), relaxed crowd. As pictured, they had a nice selection of wines ($10 per glass), and appetizers, although for the amount of food for the price you get, may not give you a lot of bang for your buck ($8 - $20). Pictured is the Charcuterie Platter with dry salami, boar salami, prosciutto and prosecco clementine and rosemary jam, with whole seed mustard on the side. Delightedly well presented. A Grape in the Fog also has a small outdoor dining/ drinking area, live music in the front, artwork throughout, and clean bathrooms, gender - specific, and wheelchair accessible. It began to slow by midnight, on a weekday. Convenient public / street parking, and within 1 block of the newly remodeled Inn at Rockaway. Well Done, and Recommended!
I love their selection of wine and atmosphere of the place. It's cozy and I LOVE their food. I guess I just love it!!
Great wine selection and fantastic food. Love the vibe and the staff.
Great spot for a date or with a group on a Friday night. They had a live music performance when I went.
I ordered a prosciutto sandwich. It was more than I expected. Very tasty. The bread was toasted to a slight crisp on the sides, but soft in the middle. They even added a mystery jam (I think it was apple jam) which blended deliciously with the prosciutto.
I'd recommend this place for a Friday night hang-out with friends.
