My fist time here our waitress was awesome and the chef was amazing and made me the most delicious vegan wrap I have ever had! I will definitely be back thank you for outstanding service!
What a great place. We had the best service, friendly staff, Chef Klaus came and talked to us for a while. The food was really great. Personal favorite the pork schnitzel, homemade spatzle, Excellent potato pancakes. Felt like we took a trip to Germany!
My first time going to Schnell's, and it was so excellent! Such a welcoming atmosphere, tasty food, and great service to top it all off. I will definitely be returning!

Excellent German food and perfect decor. Looks and feels just like a Brauhaus in Germany. Great upscale spot. The braised red cabbage is unreal - amazing.

Great German food plus authentic imported German beers, friendly owners & excellent bartenders & waitstaff. We regulars miss one of the newer additions to the bartending team who is Sarah but she will be back as she has told us.
Friendly atmosphere, excellent staff, exceptional food! The German beer options are plentiful in both tap options and bottles. Warsteiner was delicious, cold, and available in 1/2 liter srein, 1 liter stein, and 2 liter boot. The sauerbraten was so delicious. The oso buco pork shank is huge, tender, and tasty. You have to try the sauerkraut balls! For those who are adventurous with their drinking, a shotski is available. We tested it out with some whiskey and it worked well. Only thing missing was some traditional Kirsh or Himbeer for the shotski. We will be back and already have several friends ready to join us. UPDATE... I went back a week later and tried the pork schnitzel. It appears they are masters at consistent, awesome food and excellent, friendly service. You have to check this place out.
Came here as a spur of the moment decision and it didn't disappoint! We had two beers and were pretty good! The food was also delicious and warm. I liked the beer cheese that goes with the pretzel but didn't really care for the Thai sauce. Just not my preference but otherwise we enjoyed our experience and food!
Schnitzel was excellent, and the appetizers were really good. Service was great, even though they were very busy. Excellent German beer selection on draft. One of the best German restaurants in the. Chicago area.
Solid German beer. But the best part is the food. Everything I've had is really good. Also nice to be in a place that's not tap house. Definitely recommend except that if it gets too popular then it won't be as good.
The food was excellent. We stopped for an early dinner and had the sausages. Just about the best German food I've had.
We hosted my mothers 90th birthday party at Schnell’s in December. The staff was very kind, helpful and extremely accommodating. Everyone raved about the food. The whole Schnell’s team worked very hard to make it a great evening for everyone, especially mom. We couldn’t recommend Schnell’s more. Thank you for being such gracious hosts!
