Fun. Friendly. Great service. We parked in the free garage next door. At the hostess we were told it would be about 45 minutes. We decided to wait at the inside bar and realized we could order there. We were a party of 4 and found seats after a few minutes. This was the best decision! We were taken care of by Alex who was cooking and taking care of his side of the bar area. He did an amazing job! It was fun to watch the kitchen work, live action goodness. I got the lobster bisque and seafood platter. Husband got the tacos and mixed it up between shrimp and fish. Our friends got the shrimp dinner and cioppino. Everything was wonderful. So happy we found this restaurant, it was an amazing night.
Without a doubt, the best place to hang out in Palm Springs! The Cajun lamb chop appetizer is awesome, and I don’t like lamb! Good music, great staff, and an old San Pedro vibe! The Smooth Brothers play everything from Funk, rock, Blues,R and B, Latin very well!
Great atmosphere. Live music, and loved the outdoor seating. I had the jumbo shrimp pasta and it tasted great. The staff was also top notch. Price wasn’t bad either. Would highly recommend!

This is a must eat at place in Palm Springs!!! The best fish tacos EVER, plus the Mexican shrimp cocktail(ask for it spicy) is incredible! Great service and the atmosphere is perfect!
Best service ever! Alex in the kitchen is awesome!!!!! You have to seat at the inside bar and enjoy the view! You get entertained by watching this guy’s moves in the kitchen preparing your food!! Best Fish and shrimp tacos in the Valley! Pacíficos are always cold!!!!
Good service, good food. Interesting casual place to dine. Gumbo was very good as were the coconut shrimp.

Best seafood I have in my life! The jumbo fried shrimps are like no others and the calamari is out of this world.
This is our favorite Palm Springs hangout. The venue is fun. The food is good, especially fish tacos and coconut shrimp. The blues are amazing when The Barry Baughn Blues Band is playing.
A wonderful cantina-style bar and grill with food that punches far above its weight. Fish and chips special is among the best, and the signature fish tacos did not disappoint!
It's been a little while since I've been here, and I have always loved the atmosphere. I was a little disappointed this time though, something was going on with the staff, cooked seemed like he didn't like one of the other staff, maybe a supervisor, not sure, anyway I felt the tension sitting at the bar. I ordered the Prawn Pasta, grilled shrimp on a bed of Fettuccine Alfredo, I remember they're Alfredo Sauce was excellent, made from scratch when ordered. Well not this time, the Alfredo sauce was pulled out of the fridge in a little baggie, and the shrimp was put on the grill about 15 minutes too early, it wasn't burnt on the outside, but as dry as a popcorn fart. It still tasted pretty good but nothing like before. I'll try again but probably not the Fettuccine Alfredo.
Has a great dinner and live blues band. Their shrimp dishes are very good. Shared a 1/2 lb bucket and choose the coconut shrimp entree. Both were good. And the Cadillac Margarita was awesome! Small restaurant, nice crowd and good food at reasonable prices!
For more than 15 years, this Village restaurant has been one of my favorites.
No matter what dish you pic, will be delicious as always, the band is awesome with a great repertoire that put everyone to dance and sing.
Seafood is FRESH, ( For real)
The crew members are well trained to give you one of the best experiences and make you feel at home.

Dined at the inside bar on a Sunday night, even though there was live music on the outside stage, as it was a bit chilly out.
The manager was our bartender and server and he steered us in the right direction! We had the jalapeño bacon cheese bread and the special grilled ray ray shrimp (slightly spicy) that came with grilled bread, and we each had one of their famous fish tacos (it did remind me of being in Mexico). All the food was great plus we were able to watch football games as there are a few TVs in the bar area.
As far as drinks are concerned, you HAVE to get their Cadillac margarita ($15) that comes with a float + small shot of grand marnier. It was delicious and one margarita and I was done!

This place is absolutely amazing. The seafood is some of the best I've ever had and believe me I travel a lot for work. The staff is super friendly and it's a headed gem for really only locals know about it.
Really enjoyed the outdoor dining. The clam chowder and fish tacos were delicious and service was great.
There is a band there on Sunday nights!
Enjoyed it immensely!

Good place in palm springs... would have sit in the side were the live music was but it was crowded and the bar was not to bad. The how busy they are the kitchen seemed a little to small and took some time but the food was delicious and worth the wait. The server seemed embarrassed to check on us because of the food but once we got out food he was more attentive. Amazing atmosphere...
Awesome place, went for a fish taco, had the Baja and seared ahi, then order of fish and chips.....superb!

Clam chowder soup was great. The beers and wine are awesome. Customer service was wonderful and five-star (thank you AJ for your positive energy). The live music was perfect and suited the restaurant’s ambiance. Everyone was so friendly!
I really hate to share great restaurants that I love because I want to keep them all of myself but this place is simply too good to keep secret.
I have never eaten at a better seafood restaurant than Shanghai reds. It may be located in the middle of the desert, but it is the absolute most authentic seafood you'll ever have in your life. I would strongly encourage anybody wanting a fantastic seafood experience to go here. If you don't you will have missed a great opportunity.
Still the best! 2022 finally back to Palm. The best local place is completely open with open air seating and the reliable band. Still the best tacos and oyster shots around.
Its the “go to” local hideaway. The food and local music are awesome. Fish tacos, mussels etc. You have to try the signature fresh oyster shots. “Do as the locals do.”
Seriously, if you want a great, local place with atmosphere and food, this is it. And the owner is a great guy to boot.
We have traveled to Palm for 12 years. Its our Thursday night ritual.

2020. Thursday night. Locals. Band and great food. And of course. Those oyster shots. Love this place. Baja fish tacos are our go to.
They never disappoint. Everything on their Menu is delicious! Their service is excellent. We've been here for Dinner twice in less than two months and we live in Encinitas. We'll come back again and again.
I bought the surf and turf lobster with prime sirloin steak and everything was good, but the steak was very chewy 😞. The margarita was delicious
