Adorable place, great ambiance and delicious small bites! Perfect place for a date night (partner, family or friends). Customer service is top tier, our order was input incorrectly and the server proactively took care of us without having to point out the obvious! That’s what great customer service is about, not making the customer feel like they are at fault or having them feel the need to explain themselves. 👏🏼 love the entire hotel in general, our go-to place when we visit Palm Springs!🌴💛
Absolutely gorgeous little bar tucked into the Parker Hotel.
Make sure that you get reservations! The Parker is pretty exclusive, and they won’t allow you even to enter the grounds of the hotel unless you have a reservation at one of their bars or restaurants.
The service was great, and we enjoyed tasting several wines and multiple tasty treats from their menu.
Be sure to get the quail eggs with caviar. Absolutely amazing!
I absolutely loved it here. Great find for amazing wines and small bites in Palm Springs. The champagne was delicious as well as the octopus. I highly recommend for all wine lovers.i couldn’t resist the fresh out of the oven bread and house made butter.
If you're looking for a restaurant with a sit down table experience, this is not the place for you as it's bar seating only. This didn't bother me much, but just something to be aware of!
The food itself was ok. The Jamon was the real winner of everything we tried, which was a bit sad as it's the only thing not prepared by staff.
- The macarons are overly sweet which takes away from the foie gras.
- The bay oysters, while tasty are very very small on quantity, and not worth a reorder.
- the jamon iberico was beautiful, although the pan tomate is prepared differently than it is in Spain (with a tomato spread instead)
- the salmon wrapped in cedar was nice, but nothing exquisite.
- the beef carpaccio, while tasty, is small and the truffle overpowers.
The wines are beautiful, which i do believe is the real winner here!
The vibe is very sweet, and the music was amazing - so there's that. It's a sweet date spot.
Wish Uber can deliver their foie gras macaron to my house every week. Amazing tapas menu in a medieval reflective tiny setting. It’s hiding in the gardens of the Parker Hotel. The bartenders are fantastic. Food and drinks are like the hotel design - tastefully and poetically thoughtful. Been to many places around the world, this is one of my all time favorites in Southern California. If I lived in Palm Springs, this would be my ‘reformative’ hang out place at end of the week.
How I love this place. I only found it because I was searching for a cheese board late at night, and I am so glad I found this place. It's small, counter being a clue. Some would call this intimate in the hopes of making lame excuses for its size but here, intimate really is the perfect adjective. I love their collection of wines and the food was incredible. Even better, the Catholic in me is enthralled at the decor and the prayer cards!
Delightful and unique tapas restaurant. It’s like walking into a speak easy in the 1920s, with a pressed tin ceiling, dark and mysterious with black and red decor and candles. The staff was phenomenal, very informative and friendly. The food and wines are beyond amazing. The menu is full of surprises and creativity. Don’t miss your chance to visit this incredible restaurant!
What an amazing find! I am so glad I stopped by to experience Counter Reformation. Excellent wine and awesome small plates perfect for sharing. The staff was phenomenal and passionate about educating and providing excellent service.
Great little wine bar on the Parker Hotel's grounds. Walking through the hotel to find Counter Reformation was a treat as this quaint little bar is tucked away and has a romantic setting. Also sneaking through to see the grounds of the Parker afterwards was a treat and a eye-opener for how well kept and beautiful the hotel is. Highly recommend going, and perhaps even staying for the night!
Unique and great wine selection. The food was amazing. This will be the first place we’ll book when we come back to Palm Springs.
Hidden away at the back of a hotel/restaurant this little gem is a wonderful speakyeasy style wine bar. Great sips, and tasty little nibbles available for purchase. The staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable.
Moonlighting is 10/10, a great place to take a new flame and have some deep conversations.
Amazing food and staff! One of our new favorites. The food is so creative and delish!
I absolutely loved this place. Simply put, the best wine bar I have ever been to, and one of my favourite restaurants ever. I love how it's hard to find in the hotel, and the reward when you discover the door! It's an intimate space with just 20 seats and it's such a great room. The two amazing sisters who ran the show on the evening I was there were the two best hosts you could find. They were both so knowledgeable about the wines and how they would pair with selected dishes, all while accommodating and organizing everyone who arrived to wait for a table. They were friendly, gracious, and so helpful offering advice on the menus. The wines themselves were unique, and It's great how they are at the same price point. The items I ordered from the menu were absolutely delicious, and creative in both their presentation and use of ingredients. I literally would visit Palm Springs again just to return here. Thanks for a great evening.
