My wife and I have been going here for at the 35 years since it's inception. Mom and dad always ran a tight ship and with a reverence for food freshness, quality and preparation. Now their daughter has taken over the management duties, and runs both locations, with an expertise that must be hereditary. Servers in traditional dress and manner make any meal there a special event. Master sushi chefs share the limelight by preparing delicate beautiful morsels designed to delight. The kitchen consistently puts out flavorful and inventive offerings. My favorites from the sushi bar are sunomono moriawase, a thinly sliced cucumber salad in rice vinegar, topped with a variety of raw and cooked seafood delicacies. The other is the salmon marinade, a thinly sliced raw salmon dressed in a mild tasty dressing and sweet white onion. Both of these go perfectly with a vodka martini expertly prepared by Press, the bartender. My favorite kitchen offering is the beef sukiyaki, using only the tenderest and highest quality beef and vegetables in a superb broth. This one is a great meal for a chilly evening, and should be complimented with the house hot saki. Fuki Sushi also offers afternoon classes in sushi preparation and saki tasting. Sign up with your partner for a very fun experience.

This place is absolutely amazing. I went here for my 16th birthday with my aunt and the food is so delicious. I totally have to go here again if I ever am in the Palo Alto area. <3

If you are in sushi as a vegetarian, this is great restaurant to try it out. Beautiful ambiance, quality food and service. Would definitely recommend for vegetarian/vegan. Will come back again with more friends.

Theoretically food was good. We ordered a multiple items including some appetizers, and a wide array of sushi. Fish was fresh, but flavor was lacking a bit. Service was amazing though, so I'd go again and try a different set of sushi.

Decent quality food and good service. The soft shell carb and Japanese uni are the most tasty dishes.

Pretty authentic Japanese restaurant. Nice ambience. Good food. Courteous service. Bit on the expensive side for the taste and value. In any case, enjoyed the time.

Tasty sushi! The waitress didn’t seem to understand the menu super well: I was hoping to find out more details about more niche items, but she steered me towards the usual go-tos, which I guess is fine. I’d like to come back and talk to someone who really knows their way around the menu.
