This is my second time coming to this restaurant and I am definitely coming back! The food is so good and they make you feel like family. From their family style foods to the excellent service! My aunt’s birthday was the day before so she could not get the discount but, the waitress sang wonderfully and gave her a signed Paula card! She also gave us extra desserts and food. When we noticed she said don’t worry about it! 10/10 wonderful service and food! I recommend the butter cake!
We visited Paula Deen's Family Kitchen to checkout the gift shop. There are some really great products in the shop and they are not overly priced. The staff was super sweet and pleasant. While we did not eat I must say it sure smelled good in there!
We had a delicious experience here! They offer 2 options, served family style. Being a party of 8, we ordered the larger option (choice of 3 proteins from what I recall) and various sides. It was ALL DELICIOUS! The ribs were tender and fell off the bone... the fried chicken crispy outside & juicy inside... it was all wonderful. The ONE complaint (very minor and I won't reduce my rating because of it) is that the meal really needed some type of bread for the table. It would've been AMAZING to have fresh-baked biscuits offered.
Definitely would return if we're ever back in Panama City Beach (or any other location that has one).

I walked out of there with a full stomach! I wish I was able to take a to go plate, that’s the only down fall. The food was great, the only thing is I didn’t like the coating used for the fish. The only thing that you’re able to take out is the dessert. I’d go again when if I happen to be in town. Y’all try it out!
The food is amazing!! Went here for lunch. It was 6 of us & we were greeted immediately then seated quickly. The customer service was phenomenal, especially from our waitress Elizabeth. A few supervisors also checked on our table which we appreciated. Would definitely return!
First time to eat at Oaula Deens. Nice clean atmosphere. Waitress was very kind and believable. Food was good and plenty.Price was a little high but the economy is high anywhere but you get all you can eat so it has its value. You won't leave hungry.
Awesome food! Tony did another great job as our server. The Ribs, Fried chicken, Shrimp was delicious along with mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and poppyseed dressing salad. And also those amazing biscuits! Sooo good!
Liked it a lot but didn't love it.
Most everything we tried was pretty good but not great to me although my wife thought it was great.
Nice atmosphere with pretty good service. The servers were really nice and accommodating but they were short handed on the night we went so it was hit or miss at times.
It's what they call a family style setting where you choose your meats and your sides then your desert. It's all-you-can-eat.
Price is too high unless you can eat 2 or 3 plates of food then maybe it's worth the price although the quality is just average to me.
As far as the retail section, they have many Paula items for sale so if you love Paula like my wife does you can buy some stuff.
I won't be in a rush to go back.
Delicious! Spare ribs were fall off the bone tender. Fried chicken was juicy and tasty. All the sides were excellent. Sweet tea was perfect. Our waitress Tammy was attentive and nice. Great experience

This was our first time eating here. Definitely not the last.
We arrived about 5pm or so and we set at our booth right then. In less than 2 minutes in the resturant we had the appetizer biscuit on our table. “ the texture and flavors are outstanding”.
We also ordered a margarita and a Bloody Mary both were top notch as well.
They offer family style dining (2meats and 4 sides). We ordered the fried chicken and spare ribs, squash casserole, Mac and cheese, black eyes peas and cream corn.
The fried chicken was cooked to perfection the meat was perfect and the breading tasted awesome. The spare ribs came falling off the bone with a perfect amount of glazed bbq sauce spread all over. 😋
I’ll rate the sides in the order from best to last. Black eyed pies #1 had a perfect addition to the original flavor with the added bacon. Next, #2 the squash Casserole was awesome the texture was perfect as well. Then, #3 Mac and cheese. Another unique take on a country original. Finally, #4 the creamed corn. To be fair I was so stuffed by all the food and my plate was full so I wasn’t able to taste this one.
Wow, money well spent but they still have dessert to serve. No room for me but the bite I had was delicious 😋.
Bring your appetite if you want to eat all you want. Can’t wait to eat hear next year when we return.

Always been a fan! First time here. Atmosphere so beautiful-sea themed. Service-amazing!! Everyone was so nice! Food very good!!! Dessert - chocolate butter cake -yummm!!!
That chicken was so good! And the ribs! And the potatoes, and the well... You get the idea. We would go again. It's all you can eat comfort food! NO TO GO BOXES! Just know that going in. It's on the menu and explained when you order. But this is comfort food at its best. And it's so so so so so good.
Just stopped in for dessert. $2.99 each for banana pudding and ooey gooey brownie. Brownie rocked, banana pudding nothing special to my wife and I. Dessert would be included with dinner format. Different prices per person depending on number of diners, all you can eat but no Togo boxes. We plan on dining for dinner here next time visiting PCB.
This was an absolutely incredible experience. We got the fried catfish, chicken and dumplings, and 4 sides creamed potatoes, creamed corn, cheddar grits, and a poppyseed salad. And of course the star of the show were the fresh buttermilk biscuits! Only thing is you can't take anything home and it all gets thrown away. 😭
Really good food. Chicken was perfect ribs were tender. Squash casserole tasted like it was fresh picked. Desert oh my! Ate here again today October 7,2022 food was incredible hade pork chops and fried chicken. Sides were great and service was perfect.
I’m so glad I did not listen to reviews!!! I was underwhelmed thinking the reviews would be right but had to try for myself! I’m glad I was not persuaded!!! We were there June 15th and it was an amazing experience! I only wish I could have ate more !!! Let’s start with the biscuits omg amazing the waiter Vincente said they were the best and he was spot on !!! Light and fluffy buttery good ! We chose fried chicken and pot roast. The pot roast was melt in your mouth and tender ! The fried chicken was out of this world flavor !!! The sides were amazing especially mashed potatoes someone said they tasted like instant but that was not true ! The best mashed potatoes I had …. AMAZING! Did not disappoint….
Wow! Loved this experience. Was a fan of Paula Dean from the cooking shows. Was hesitant to dine here thinking I would be let down. Best green beans I have ever had. The first three items in my mouth were just slap your momma good. Fried chicken is a must. Creamed potatoes and cucumber salad were just fantastic. Couple misses with the pot roast. Still good but mines better. Loved the atmosphere and the family style servings. Really a destination even if it is not beach food. They still have shrimp and grits.
