Awesome place to eat if you love seafood. The customer service was great! The food was delicious! Cooked perfectly! I will return again.
Went in for my mother's birthday on a Saturday night. Crab legs, steak, fish, chicken, and everything was delicious and fully stocked and fresh cooked. It is a bit overpriced for a basic family buffet but I guess it has to do with location. Party size of 3 adults and 1 child and a baby with only 1 person having crab legs was over 200$ without a tip. They do nothing special for birthdays. Worth trying though.
This seafood buffet has everything you want for an amazing experience. The crab š¦ legs are amazing. The fried oysters are out of this world so good. I go to this restaurant 1st thing when I get to Panama city Beach ā±ļø. It's my favorite place to go to.
They did it! The crab legs were absolutely amazing. They were so sweet and juicy. One of the best we have had.
We drove an hour from Santa Rosa Beach after looking up a couple buffet options. We chose this option purely because it was the closest. We were hesistant at first after reading a few negative reviews but we had a wonderful experience. Absolutely no regrets. We spent 2 hours here!
Our server Autumn was wonderful.
We highly recommend the crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, coconut shrimp, and steak! Delicious!! š
Awesome! This was a great buffet. They had so many good options, kid friendly options and yummy options for people who like more than French fries š
. The crab legs were amazing, salad bar was great, the dessert was what you would expect from a buffet. I love that kids under 3 are free. The service was perfect. All the staff were friendly and hard working. I recommend this to anyone who likes buffets.
A wonderful meal. Great service, seafood was very fresh. The buffet it looked wonderful and was fully stocked every time we went to eat at it. Was clean neat presentable and well staffed. The crab legs were huge. A lot bigger than I expected on an all-you-can-eat buffet. It was very pricey as we spent over $60 a person for the buffet and tea. The ice cream was delicious it was nice to have that treat at the end of our meal. The desert bar had all kinds of yummy desserts and the serving sizes were not so big that you couldn't try several and not completely blow your diet.
The atmosphere was very quaint and felt very Beach like. The staff really maintained it well and it was clean everywhere we went. The bathrooms were spotless and you felt confident that they took all precautions to ensure a safe and healthy meal.
Definitely on our list of " must visit " places to eat when we go to Panama City Beach
We ate dinner here twice, both meals (2 adult & 2 children) were nearly $300. The adult meals included all you can eat crab legs and several orders of alcoholic beverages (this impacts price) They have a great selection of different drinks, buffet choices and a dessert bar.
This place stays packed, if you want to be seated promptly and not wait in line after the building fills then prepare to arrive a little early and get in line at the door. The food is hot, delicious and abundant. Both times we ate here, no one ate quickly, so if you are stuck waiting outside it could be a while.
The service is on par! We had different servers each time, they watch you like a hawk. Empty plate? ..itās gone before you can find a place to put it. Thereās enough staff in this restaurant for a broadway show!
The rules: if you do not order the all you can eat legs and wish to sneak some crab to someone else you can think again. They may be a buffet on the outside but secretly itās a security firm for crab meat. Watch out, your on camera! š
Donāt worry they wonāt make a fuss, they just adjust your bill accordingly. We watched a nearby table enjoy their experience Lol
The food, entirely enjoyable! Of course thereās all you can eat crab legs and the juicy butter to go with.
Their buffet offers a section for fresh salads with all the fixings. The main entrees (more or less) Mashed potatoes, gumbo, jambalaya, seasoned green beans, loose corn, whole potatoes, sirloin steak, hush puppies, fresh baked & buttered rolls, corn bread, cheesy grits, whole boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, cooked carrots, whole corn on the cob, crab cakes (very good), Cole slaw, macaroni salad variety, seasoned & cheesy spaghetti w/ meat balls, fried scallops, baked cob, and probably ten or so other dishes I just can not recall!
Desserts! Ice cream is probably the most popular, they have vanilla, pineapple and a vanilla and pineapple swirl- no chocolate people! #1 most popular question asked while we were there.
They also have Chocolate Oreo chunk pudding, banana pudding, brownies, banana nut bred brownies, cookies (large variety), cheese cake(s), and several fresh fruits.
The second most commonly asked question is where is the butter for the crab meat. If you find yourself reading this review then save yourself the trouble of asking. Itās on the small wall stand to your right when collecting your crab legs at the buffet.
Fun fact from waiter #1., Capt. Jacks is the second largest consumer of crab legs in the world. The first is the whole country of Japan. š„
Overall our experience was great, the food was perfect and the service was exceptional. š
Everything and everyone was amazing! My husband and I came here for breakfast and dinner and it was delicious and fresh! We are definitely coming back!
Everything is delicious not saltyā¦Packed of people inside to dine in because itās cheap and healthy foods servedā¦we paid 34$ for 2 plus coffee of 5$ each bottomless! Itās normal to come here with empty stomach so itās worth the money you paid. Exercise your jaw(bottom up) as much as you can so you will have more energy exploring places aroundā¦
We started our vacation culinary adventures at Captain Jack's in PCB. Not realizing the crableg add-on was another $20/person, we opted for the regular dinner buffet ($39.99/person).
Overall the food selection was really good and for the most part the food was above average. The sirloin steaks were a little chewy and the Salisbury steaks were a little wonky, but for the most part everything was satisfying. But after a few minutes I realized why they charge an extra $20 for the crablegs....you could see a slew of glutenous fools and their multiple stacks of crablegs at their table...lol.
I can't say that I had a favorite while dining at Captain Jack's...but if you can't find something to like there, you should seek help. Some of my dining highlights were the coconut shrimp, the crab salad, and hush puppies.
Honestly, I went in with the expectations of a typical buffet. I was not expecting the food to be great by any means, but with a quantity over quality mindset. HOWEVER, the food was top notch! If they served it on a rectangular plate, and made the atmosphere not feel like an outdated casino, then I wouldnāt bat an eye at paying the same price for just ONE serving!!! I went back and forth countless times in a two hour period. Donāt get the crab legs if you arenāt going back for seconds, but there are so many seafood options. Several types of shrimp to get your fix with the butter kept warm at a serve yourself station. Thinking about this place makes my mouth water just writing the review, honestly. The dessert options as well as the non seafood options make it worthwhile for those who donāt partake in all you can eat seafood and kid friendly. I will be returning next time Iām in the area.
Very pricey, food was ok. Crab legs were too hard to get out of the shells. Service was great. Loved the gumbo and ole bay shrimp and pineapple ice cream.
Absolutely amazing me and my family came here for a visit and from the moment we walked in was given an unbelievable experience from the food to the service. But I would be remiss rod if I didnāt take time to thank an incredible waitress Vikki was exceptional superb and absolutely kind from the time she would take are order to the time she had to refill drinks and she showed how much she cared about giving me and my family a wonderful never ending experience for for royalty. If you are looking for seafood this is the only place to be.
This was an absolutely Remarkable buffet! The food is Explosive! It was like having a little party in my mouth. The service was fantastic and the establishment is full of things to look at and food to choose from. Don't like Sea Food? Not a Problem! There's a little bit of something for everyone here at this hopping little joint! I highly recommend giving Captain Jacks a Go! Very clean, smells fantastic and very family friendly šØāš©āš§āš¦
