The service, food, and desserts are all amazing!!! Did I mention the ridiculously amazing dessert tray they bring out!? Seriously love this place and the people in it.

The best pasta salad in the world. I could eat it everyday. The Polynesian chicken sandwich is also very delicious. I normally don't get savory food with pineapple because it's all you can taste but not on this sandwich. Perfectly balanced
Our new local fave! I could eat here everyday, the Hot Veggie Sandwich, potato cheese soup, and macaroni salad keep me coming back for more.
Great place for lunch and amazing desserts.
Great outside dining. Go when the weather is nice enough to sit outside under the wisteria arbor. the food is great, huge selection of deserts. The best sandwiches in town. I always have tuna on croissant and it's always delicious.
This place is over priced with very small portions. They also do not accept card which boggles my mind in the 21st century.
Yep what they said.. Can't really add anything else because I completely agree with everyone else. This is a go to lunch spot and delish dessert treats. If you need to cheat on your diet you can do it here and not feel bad about it at all!
My favorite lunch place in Panama City by far! I've loved everything I've ordered so far, but I make it a point to go Thursdays so I can enjoy their lemon squash soup. Unbeatable. Get there early or the good stuff will be gone!
The Girls Rock!. I've been coming to Sweet Magnolia's Deli since I can remember, (for some perspective, I am 43 yrs old) mostly would meet my folks for lunch here during the week... Must admit that since my dad died this past year, our lunches have been less frequent... Sherri and Kathy are such wonderful people, but my Mom and I have a tendency to get a little teary-eyed at the table, (which, I'm sure is odd to the other diners)...
You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. I have been on an egg salad kick of late, served fresh on toasted pumpernickel, with spinach and bacon, and one of their signature salads, my favorite is tomato-cuke...awesome!
Another fave; Smoked turkey, sliced thin, served on a fresh onion roll with onion marmalade. You just can't get any better!
The desserts are amazing, all made fresh on the premises; I tend toward the seasonal fruit dumps/slumps, served nutty and warm with vanilla ice cream. Awesome!!
The service is tops, and the ladies...I love you both!
Best Sandwiches in Town!. Sweet Magnolia's is one of my favorite places to eat in Panama City. It is a small sandwich shop located off the beaten path. It is not a restaurant you would run across unless you were lost or looking for it. They don't just serve sandwiches though! They also have soups, salads, and amazing desserts. Everything is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious.
They have different soup specials each day; I have never had one that I didn't like. The cheesy potato is so popular they have it every day. It is creamy, with chunks of potato. It comes topped with bacon and scallions. My personal favorite is the lemon squash though.
Sandwiches range from classics like french dip and reubens, to more creative options such as polynesian chicken. I have been going to Sweet Magnolia's for at least 10 years now, and for the past 5 haven't gotten anything other than the polynesian chicken sandwich. The salty flavors of the marinated chicken breast contrast perfectly with the sweet pineapple. The best part is the sauce they put on the top, I have no idea what is in it, but it is amazing.
If you have room, be sure to ask to see the dessert tray. Just looking will convince you to have some.
They are only open for lunch during the week, so don't miss it! Also of note, they do not take credit cards, so be sure to bring either cash or a check. There is an atm located within the restaurant as well. I cannot say enough about how awesome this place is!
One of my favorite lunch spots. They are always busy for a good reason: everything is fresh and homemade with love. How can something as simple as cucumber-tomato salad elicit cravings? I love the roasted vegetable sandwich. My husband's favorite is the Polynesian Chicken sandwich: a teriyaki marinated chicken breast on a bun with grilled pineapple, honey mustard and alfalfa sprouts. On Thursdays you must try the lemon-and-yellow squash soup. This place won't disappoint.
Amazing desserts! Faves: warm apple cobbler and coconut cake.
