Excellent food, quick and pleasant service.

I have tried Chicken biriyani, Chicken rice plate and noodles till now, everything turned out to be good, of these chicken biriyani was really brilliant.

But, I would suggest a bit of improvement in ambience and facilities.

Overall a good place for a causal dining with good value for money. Recommended

The place has a very Desi vibe - you will feel like home here! You can Bring Your Own Alcohol here! Food is so authentic and tasty! We loved everything we ordered. Chicken Biryani was average but everything else was brilliant! Service was slow as they were busy.

This restaurant is definitely underrated. Everything we tried was mouth watering. Ambur Mutton biryani was made fresh and one the best we had in the US. Chicken curry and rice were brilliant too. Kothu parotta was tasty and heavy. Shrimp starter is also a must try.

My go to place for biriyanis around Parsippany. The food here is simple and yet delicious. Non-veg lovers must try their non-veg thali. It’s one of their best. Have tried tandoori Pamfret too, but it was ok! Service is good, very courteous people. They have space for big groups too! I just love going there again and again for biriyani!!

Surprised by how good the food was. I ordered the Thali (non-veg) and it was just great. Sampler if I would call it (a little bit if fish fry, fish curry, chicken curry) some dal rice sweet payassam.

2023 Visited after a long time . Enjoyed the idli bada combo and set dosai and Mysore masala dosa. The chatnis were nice specially the green one. I mostly like all the foods that I have tried in this place. I like this place, Feels like a local restaurant in India . We had bhai vittu biriyani today and it was delicious. Also the Thali was good as usual .the Mysore park was also good and different in taste

One of our favorite place for veg thali and dry Gobi manchurian. Great taste, variety of sides. People are courteous in serving. We have taken many friends in the last 12 years or so, and not even a single time we have come back disheartened.

We stopped by at Rajni for lunch on a weekday. Was pleasantly surprised by the great food, quick service and overall a great experience! We got chicken pepper soup that was made to perfection. Goat sukka was tender, juicy with the right level of spices (not too spicy, not too bland), we had goat sukka with Malabar paratha that was cooked fresh. Their menue is elaborate, I highly recommend Rajni for great Indian food.

One of the finest South Indian/Chettinad cuisine in NJ. Went there to dine in on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered Vanjaram fish varuval, Thanjavur Eral(shrimp) Thokku and Malabar parotta. Everything tasted so fresh and amazing! Meat was fresh, spice levels apt and portions were perfect. Vanjaram fish varuval - Hands down the best I’ve ever had at any Indian restaurant in the US. Fish was marinated to perfection and tasted very fresh. Masala on the fish was finger licking good! The dish was garnished with lemons, onion and cilantro. It tasted so good, it took me to my childhood memories home:) Thanjavur eral Thokku - Again, prepared with super fresh ingredients with spice levels that are perfect to my taste buds. It had a nice chettinad gravy flavor with those dried red chilies. It was garnished with Cilantro and curry leaves and served with white rice. The curry tasted great with Parotta and rice! Malabar parotta - Another perfection. It was layered and crispy. I’ve seen a lot of restaurants that serve heated frozen parottas. Not here. It was prepared fresh, beaten to get the layers loose and had the authentic taste. The service was prompt and the people were friendly too. Overall I had a great meal! This place is going to the top of my favorites and I’m certainly coming back!

As a white guy that loves all different cuisines served authentically - including spice levels - I was very happy with the dishes I ordered the other night because they didn't dumb down the spice levels, per my request. Everything was delicious, fresh, and they have interesting items on the menu that I haven't seen in every run-of-the-mill restaurant of this type. I have some exploring to do...

They have huge dine in space and parking. Their food is good , and they have all south India specialities around in their menu. We ordered special Rajni dosa, biryani and some noodles with chicken parottha and sheera. Mango sheera was too good , rassam was not as expected , more of raw masala . Their pricing is not that bad but decent.

A gem of a eatery (eat in and take out) serving mouthwatering absolutely authentic Chettinad Karaikodi food for the discerning!!! Who would have thought that in a sleepy Parsippany strip mall there was an actual Karaikodi chef making dishes that rival those in Karaikodi India?? Their thali (veg and non-veg) is the bargain of the century, with some 9 different dishes served around white rice and chappati and papad. Always order the Lassi to cut the edge of the heat, and dont forget a great Madras coffee served in an actual golden Madras tumbler and Dabara. The Kozhi vepudu was amazing as was the Pomfret fry, the paneer dishes and obviously the chicken chettinad. They also make autgentic Ambur goat biriyani and Thalapkattu chicken biriyani. In conclusion, I am stunned that such quality food is still available in such a humble location. However, seeing the number of Indians that come by its reputation is assured among those that know and crave this particular cuisine. This is destined to become a must -eat place if my taste buds do not lie, and I look forward to driving all the way from across states to eat here again. And kudos to Kumar, the manager, for managing this excellent establishment..
