Cute place with lots of interesting decorations. We stopped by before our hiking trip and what can I say, everything’s so good. Reasonable price and generous portions with friendly services. Will come back again for another brunch date.
I ordered an omelette, and it was phenomenal. All the ingredients tasted farm fresh. I am thoroughly pleased with the food and ambience. It’s an excellent place to hang out, study and work.
A day may come when I get enough sleep and don’t need coffee but today is not this day. Saturdays are for brunch adventure. So without further ado let’s do this café review. My Place Café is an eclectic neighborhood café serving organic roast and a small breakfast. It’s cute interior decor is imbued with wall frames and message boards. Moreover, they have cute front outdoor patio. They’re located in a tiny corner plaza between E. Woodbury and Los Robles avenue. I was ebulliently greeted by Latanya, owner, and she explained their menu ardently. Their menu may look overwhelming and nebulous but on the contrary it’s very direct and simple. I end up ordering an oatmeal, iced coffee and turkey, veggie scrambled eggs on butter croissant. After I paid at the counter, they brought my drink and food at the front patio. My iced cold coffee (whole milk and splenda) was refreshing. Turkey croissant sandwich and oatmeal were warm, tasty and flavorful. Service was warm and on point. Staff were amiable, followed health protocol and professional. Prices were fair and competitive. Free Wifi. Parking was easy. In this voluminous review, it’s time to make a remark about this café. Overall, I had a really good experience and whole heartedly enjoyed my meal/drink. I highly recommend this café spot.
What a lovely find. Traveling through Pasadena from Utah and this is exactly what I had hoped to find. A heart centered staff (and I was lucky enough to meet the owner and witness her connection with the community around this cafe! 💜) thoughtful & well prepares offerings and the most incredible place to sit in the shade outdoors. Exactly the place you’re looking for to connect to local community and find a comfy shady afternoon/late morning workspace. Consider yourself blessed for stumbling upon this gem :)
Home-cooking, fantastic variety of bagel sandwiches, grilled cheese, and now wraps. Coffee is great, feels like grandma's kitchen. The owner is a darling! Go back often and keep exploring the menu options. Something for everybody.
I love this ice cream! A huge selection of cookies to choose from, inside which you then put the most delicious ice cream. I never thought it could be so delicious! I want to note that I ate similar things in other areas of LA - but everything is not right, either the cookies are hard, or the ice cream is not very ... The queues are always huge, but it's worth it!
This place is like a warm hug. The owner is lovely, everyone that works here is lovely, the outdoor courtyard is lovely. The coffee and food is yummy and made with love. One of the best coffee shops in the neighborhood.
Bonus - woman owned business.
This coffee house is the real deal. Independently owned by the friendliest woman as well as all of her talented staff. Very chill hang out as well. Love this place. Give them your business!
