Stopped in with a Groupon for a wine and cheese tasting for 2 about an hour before closing on a Friday night. The owner, Paige, her husband and another woman were behind the bar working on platters for Saturday catering. We were told an hour wasn't enough time for our Groupon. We were disappointed but understood. Not wanting us to go away with a bad feeling they gave us an informal wine, beer and cheese tasting at the counter. Slice of this, sip of that, pair this with that, ever hear of this, come back for our music on this night, and on and on and on. We stood at the counter for about 45-60 minutes talking, eating, drinking and laughing. They went over and above what you would expect from anyplace with amazing service, a vast knowledge of their menu items and making us feel welcome. Most importantly, the food and drinks (pineapple beer? Yes! Grapefruit beer? Yes!) were out of this world. Everything was so different than any other place you'd go and the pairings made it all so much better.
I rarely write reviews but when you get service like we did with food that's even better then it seems natural to write a review and tell others about an amazing place. Can't wait to go back and actually sit down � but thanks to Paige and the staff for an unforgettable experience. Cheers!
I recently visited this location with my sister and had a great time! I loved the decor and the owner had such knowledge and passion about the wines and cheese she was giving us. The cheese was so good we got an extra platter. The only complaint I have is the price of the platter was pretty high I wouldn't have gone or go back again without the Groupon price. However I will definitely be coming back with another Groupon. Also even though the Groupon doesn't say to make a reservation you should because that's the first thing they asked. Overall it was a great experience!
The owner was very friendly and the establishment was quaint. The tasting gave a good sized bit of wine in each glass, which was great because to quote the owner "you need more than an eye dropper worth of wine to really taste it!" The cheese platter was delicious and I wound up buying some to take home I liked it so much! I'm absolutely going back here again!

Had such a great time ... we did a wine and cheese pairing Paige was so knowledgeable and the pairing was amazing .... my husband who isn’t a huge wine drinker loved all 4 wines we had!! The place is so cute and cozy and the staff just makes you feel so welcome you leave their friends!! I highly recommend going there to check it out!! Can’t wait to go back
Such a wonderful time! The staff were on top of things, pleasant and happy. Jackie and Elsie were awesome. We closed down the place and they had us laughing the entire time. Food plates were great and the entertainment was fun and very nice. Would definitely recommend!
My boyfriend and I went to The Cheese Patch on Groupon. We loved it! Our server was so nice, explained all the wines and the cheeses and of course the pairings of each. We felt welcomed and so relaxed. She was even kind enough to write down the names of the cheeses for us. Would love to go back, definitely recommend it!
Went there for a bachelorette party! Had the BEST time ever! Classy but relaxed environment, friendly knowledgeable staff, and Paige the owner made up a great package for everyone to have a blast! Even asked about gluten allergies! Highly recommend going here for a good time! Will be returning!
This place is fantastic. We did the 4 person wine and cheese pairing and our server was very informative. Wines and Cheeses were excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We were not rushed out the door and had a great time.

Tom and Paige at the Cheese Patch are fantastic!!!! A must go to place. Had the best time. Went with a groupon and were treated like family. Will definitely come again and again.

I've been here for my birthday and for just a casual sit in and had great experiences. Most recently I had a group event here and the staff was excellent and hospitable and the food and wine is always awesome!
Came here on a groupon ($24 for 2 people including 2 flights of wine and a cheese board). Place was small but nicely decorated. A bit dark where the tables are. The one person working, although very sweet, was working alone and at times seem a bit too busy. The wine and cheese though was delicious. Def a highly recommended place.
I can spend hours here sipping on the wine and snacking on the cheese and meats. Absolutely fantastic! Great quality and chill place.
The owner Paige has the best cheese on LI and is the most professional, kindest business owner I’ve ever met! I have been to almost every winery on LI, but my husband and I have found some our favorite wines here at The Cheese Patch. Paige is always offering us samples of cheese and wine when we come in. Don’t skip this place!
Wow!!! What a great experience! My son and I ordered a cheese flight. Ashley was extremely helpful and friendly! Ashley took the time to explain the cheeses and give samples! With her help we picked our four cheeses for the flight. The cheese board was delicious!! We even bought cheese to take home. We can't wait to go back. Would definitely recommend!!
Lovely and knowledgeable staff set in a cozy atmosphere. A nice selection of beer, wine and of course cheese. They have great boards/pairings.

Wine and beer and cheese selection is vast and if you aren't sure, ask for suggestions and pairings because they're very knowledgeable. One of the best places in Patchogue.
Paige continues to be not only a pillar in the community, but puts out the best cheese game on Long Island. When you need platters, you need to come through The Cheese Patch!
We always like to find a place that’s local that makes you feel special. Ordered a cheese platter for New Year’s Eve and spent about two hours there having a couple drinks because the atmosphere and service was amazing. As busy as they were knocking out orders for New Year’s Eve Paiute didn’t skip a beat getting to know us and providing amazing experience. Congrats on. 8 years

AMAZING, if I could give 100 stars I would! This place is a nice break from the loud bar scene but with a bar feel. Great selection of beers on tap; one to fit a variety of tastebuds. Top it off with a high cheese selection; this is a great place to start or end at. Jackie, our server, was wonderful -she was extremely attentive to us and we will be back again 😁

Came here last night with my lady and some friends.
Let me start off by saying: Thank you Spencer. This kid was super knowledgeable, extremely friendly and was the only person working. He handled both the sit down crowd and the market. (I would recommend they have at least two people at any given time but I know it's not always easy with a mom and pop spot.
We had a wine flight each and a shared cheese plate and everything was delicious. I even bought a jar of the fig jam.
Would absolutely come back.
I really shouldn't be giving a review because we didn't eat here. We were walking by and saw they had an acoustic guitarist and singer. So, we went in and ordered a glass of wine and listened . Jason Dorsa was awesome. The service at the bar was excellent . I would definitely come back for the fondue.
Incredible experience, it was our first time here and will definitely be back. They were warm, friendly, and welcoming. The cheeses, wines, and accompaniments were delicious!!!
