Service was great 👍🏽 kudos 👏🏽 to autumn. The wings were fresh, hot, and crispy. I had 2 different flavors, the soy and spicy and some seasoned fries 🍟with side of coleslaw, tho the slaw was a little sweet for my liking and no carrots 😥 added a lil salt and pepper. The crunch was definitely present and fresh. If you're in the area definitely think you should check it out.
I'm glad I left Fish City Grille next door to here in the Pearland Town Center. Bonchon was great! I will return for the lunch special as well! Fair prices, waitress was nice and informative unlike the waitress next door at the fish restaurant. The wings were deliciously crispy fried twice, I love the soy garlic sauce. The Kim chi was plentiful and delicious as a balance to the sweet and spicy wings. The atmosphere was clean, bathrooms were very clean and I will return soon! It's becoming harder and harder to find great food and service!
You should try Yang-nyum sauce which is life changer. I always go with half Yang-nyum / half soy sauce. Please avoid boneless. I am a born-boneless person but I pretty much prefer bone chicken over boneless at least for Bonchon chicken. You are welcome.
Currently visiting Houston and my sister took me here. The food was fresh, hot, and pretty decent. We ordered half and half wings with coleslaw and shrimp fried rice. The rice came out before the chicken which was odd to me. All of the food should come together. The wings were very crunchy and hot. I didn't care for the spicy sauce as it really didn't have any flavor. It was just spice. I'm from the East coast so the food was definitely different. I loved the fried rice. It wasn't heavy like the fried rice I get at home. The coleslaw was pretty good as well. Hopefully, I'll get to go back there before I leave
I had just an order of loaded fries and a glass of white wine! The fries were tasty, but could have used a bit more sauce if not steak on tip. The staff does not listen or relay information very well because I ordered dine in and water with no ice, but got the opposite. Overall, it appears to be a clean eatery, so I'm willing to return.
Love Bonchon wings! Hands down best wings I’ve had flavor wise and crunch. Too pricey! 30 wings is like $50. But if you got the extra $ to spare I recommend it. But it’s good wings out here for cheaper pricing. Spicy and Soy Garlic WOW
Yummy food, good service. A bit pricey. $2.50 for a literal can of coke? Was over $50 for 2 people to have lunch.
Very pricey to start off with, we had the pork Buns which was a savory pork belly with soy garlic sauce topped with coleslaw, sesame seeds, spicy mayo, katsu sauce, and cucumbers. We didn't really like it as the pork wasn't crispy. There was not much taste too. However the wings gets the score here as they were absolutely delicious, very crispy and the soy Garlic sauce was mouthwatering after the first bite. It was so good that we decided to order another 10. I would highly recommend going for the soy Garlic flavour wings! They can also cater if you want flats or drums! They also have a very good selection of beers and as it was happy hour it was only $3 which is very good. We had some sake bombs too with Kirin Ichiban beer which was nice too. Our server Jesse was super friendly and kept checking on us to see if everything was okay! He was also helpful when choosing beers and flavours for the wings. Definitely great customer service and crispy delicious wings!
Great spicy chicken tacos. I have noticed the portion sizes getting smaller each time I order but the staff is friendly and I eat here often because I work in Pearland town center. Note to the kitchen, warm the tortillas before serving them.
The best wings & chicken legs. Vietnamese food options are delicious as well, especially the fried rice. This is my 5th or 6th visit, and we’ll be back.
Minus a star for dirty tables, that limits our seating options & adds to the wait if we ask someone to clear/clean.
The chicken was amazing, the kimchi was good and the Japchae noodles were simply divine. This was my second time here and they did not disappoint. For the chicken, I did mixed which is was both flavors. Nice, crispy, hot and flavorful. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. I had an amazing lunch here and can't wait til I visit again to eat.
Edit: They redid my order after talking with corporate and they gave significantly bigger wings. The large drums were still small but they did comp me and overall was good service second time around. Flavor is still amazing, so changing from 1 star to 5.
Bonchon used to be my go to korean fried chicken chain of choice, but after multiple visits here, the drums have been smaller and smaller. My last combo, I couldn't tell the difference between the drums and the wings, only notable difference was a lighter wallet. We bought this up to the waitress both times and they were like "this is how it is, we do you want from us, " so the service is abysmal as best. Overall, with bad service and low-quality drums, I have given up on Bonchon.
You may have better luck at another location or perhaps just try bb.Q chicken, they have better flavor at a lower price.
Love this place! Been here on multiple occasions and ordered their fried chicken and beer. Sweet, savory, and crispy! The portions are quite large and shareable. Definitely best to come with friends/family.
