By no means traditional tacos, however a pleasant and savory surprise! Their 'Pink Taco' and 'Jerk Chicken' are a must try!
Overall great service and location, just make sure to not go during night life hours during the weekend otherwise the line is out the door!

My wife and I had been wanting to try Taco Agave for quite awhile, but when they dropped some chips with salsa, queso, pico de gallo, and guacamole at our office for us to try it pushed me over the edge and made it a priority to get myself there to try their tacos.

From what I had been able to gleen from others posting, and from Taco Agave’s own Facebook page, it looked like it was just going to be a corner in the middle of World of Beer, but it is its own carved out bar and restaurant, with its own decor and vibe (you do have to use the WoB restrooms). It was a pleasant surprise when we walked up and it had its own entrance and outdoor dining tables.

We did not order any of the chip starters, and went right for the tacos. There are eight total on the menu and both of us being devoted food enthusiasts, we had to try then all, so we decided to order all of them, and each eat half of each one, and then switch. All of the tacos were very inventive. I can not comment on the steak taco since they were out of the steak (Billy you are right). I loved the Pink Taco and the Piggy Piggy, but all the tacos with the pulled pork are well worth trying. They are using pulled pork from Hot Spot and it is perfectly smoked and so flavorful. The two losers were the Jerked Chicken and the Veggie. The Jerk had a little sweetness to it and the chicken suffered in comparison to the juicy pork and seemed dry, and what can I tell you about the veggie taco that you do not already know about a taco without protein, just missed something…...oh I know, MEAT!. I get it, and if I had not just had many super flavorful and wonderful meat filled tacos, I probably would have liked it more, but it was the last one I tried. My wife liked it, but she could live on vegetables alone, I can not.

I have to admit that I did not really think I was going to get much out of our trip into town for lunch, but I found Taco Agave to be a nice place to sit and enjoy the beautiful afternoon weather and was surprised at the quality and inventiveness of the tacos they offer. Each taco is crafted with a great deal of attention to creating tremendous flavor combinations with novel ingredients.

I did not try any of their cocktails, but I sat and watched the servers make the mixers for the evening all from scratch, and that is a huge sign of quality, and attention to detail. I will have to come back when it is later in the day ( I am too old to really want to do much daytime drinking).
I do plan to be back for the Tacos too. Keep growing up Pensacola, I love where our food scene is headed.

great location, sidewalk and bar tacos,  service is very good.  three trips have been good, but an exercise in frustration as they are each time out of certain food items...sometimes several items. We have yet to see a full menu available, its almost like owners dont take this place seriously enough to stock menu items.... No Ice tea beverage, just flat sodas from bar dispenser.

The tacos were really good but they were way smaller than how it was made to seem lol. It was pretty cheap though.

The food was great for bar food but what sets this place apart is the atmosphere and the bartenders. Great drinks, and awesome recommendations by them, to include other bars in the area. We will definitely go back there again.

Outstanding raco bar in the heart of downtown! There was a great drink & liquor selection, and the bartender was very nice. Their food was good too - try the banh mi taco when you get the chance!

This is a chill place with a great selection of tequilas and tacos. We stopped by mid afternoon and had a couple of margaritas and shots. They also have Don Julio 70 which is like some of the best sipping tequila ever! Def recommend stopping by to grab a taco or two with margaritas of course. Didnt catch the bartenders name but she was very helpful and friendly. Urban Cowgill November 2019

Love the location, side street taco joint is a vibe! Probably the best taco I’ve had! Very chill, walked in and grabbed a table with some friends for tacos and drinks! We were greeted by the bartender and had food and drinks within minutes! Bahn mi tacos were on point!

Really good tacos, especially the Nashville hot chicken taco, it was fantastic! Only disappointment was waiting for so long. My wife and I ordered 3 tacos and we honestly waited somewhere between 30-45 minutes to get them. The bartender/server said it was really slow because they share a kitchen with World of Beer next door. If you're going to share a kitchen between multiple restaurants, make sure it is big enough and staffed appropriately. We did try to be understanding because I know staffing can be difficult these days. I'd give it a try again if I'm ever in town, really good food, hopefully it's faster!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The food is delicious and their drinks are great! And I love stopping here for a quick bite to eat during my lunch break. But for some reason they were closed today? Not serving food or drinks. So I went next door to World of Beer and they werent serving food either. So I had to pick a different lunch spot. Super disappointed.

Nice bar, surprisingly healthy and delicious food options! We had friends recommend to us and we're thankful after eating dinner here. I had the Baja Chicken Salad with sesame vinegarette dressing. My husband had the steak street tacos. We both enjoyed our food selections. Multiple tequila options. Was not feeling like a tequila night, but did try one of their specialty drinks, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" and it was very tasty. Made with ginger beer and some type of orange mix. Similar to a "Moscow mule".
