After living close to this place for several years (and seeing how busy it was), my fiancé and I decided to try it out. We loved it! Great service, great people, and we had a very down to earth waiter and our chef was amazing! He made cooking for 7 people look very easy! We were very impressed and will be back!
I wanted to give a shout out to our chef, Lee, and our server, Steven. They made tonight's birthday celebration the best experience we've ever had there! And we've been coming there since Tokyo first opened. The service was incredible and the food was fantastic! Thank you both for being so efficient, kind and absolutely hilarious! 😃
Great hibachi meal ; my steak, cooked medium rare, was best I have eaten . Great service and friendly staff.
We love Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse. Had a large party for a birthday celebration. Food was great, server was great and the chef was great!!
I'll just put it this way if you like good food then just go everything was perfect the service was excellent the waiter was on time every time you would have never set there and waited on any drinks when I was there everyone was very nice and very thoughtful they actually look like they like their jobs
In Tokyo’s embrace, I found a feast so grand,
Where Chef Eka’s hibachi, played like a lively band.
Though hibachi I skipped, with a lighter meal in plan,
His show was a delight, a true culinary fan.
Sushi was my choice, from the menu so bold,
A roll so large and lush, a sight to behold.
Tola, our server, with service like gold,
Refilled our drinks with care, and warmth untold.
The rice in the sushi, slightly amiss,
A tad soggy, yet in a sea of bliss.
For the seafood atop was pure joy to kiss,
A flavor so rich, nothing went amiss.
So here’s to Tokyo, where the dining shines bright,
With Tola and Eka making everything right.
For a meal that’s a delight, from day to night,
Tokyo’s the beacon, in the culinary light.

Awesome atmosphere food and people The meal was great our cooked he was awesome at the hibachi bar and all of our waitresses were very courteous and kept our glasses full in the table cleaned off Good experience overall would recommend enjoy!
My best friend wanted to go here for sushi on her birthday and I'm so glad she did! Wonderful customer service and delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. We've been back once a week almost every week since. It's outstanding.
Amazing, the staff was nice , professional, and quick. Our chef was amazing. He was entertaining. My 3 yr old grandson was mezerise by his talents. The 🍣 and hibachi were divine. You must try the bacon log. You won't regret it
First experience with Hibachi for my daughter's birthday! I didn't know what to expect but Chef Willy was awesome and put on a good show! It was fun to watch your food get prepared, I enjoyed my steak and shrimp! Our waitress Bethany was amazing- friendly and very attentive! Will definitely be back!
We moved back to Pensacola in 2015. I don’t know how long we’ve been eating here, but it seems like we’ve been eating here since then.
Every time we have a special birthday for anything in the family, everybody chooses here. The food is great. I usually end up with enough food for lunch the next day. Always a great time.
Food was excellent and we have experienced hibachi all over the US. Had the chefs special hibachi and wife had filet and scallops. Leo our chef was very entertaining and had a great personality and show (Thank you Leo) was there for my moms 70th birthday
The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing I can't say it enough! Our waiter was immediately attentive to our daughter and made sure she was taken care of so we could relax and order. We had 2 appetizers and 3 entrees for a party of 5 and we were in and out in under an hour and never felt rushed. The food came out super fast and it tasted as amazing as it looked. Pictured is the bacon log, the surf and turf lobster and steak and the adorable fruit arrangement that our amazing waiter suprisingly brought to our table at the end of our meal. I can not reccomend this place more!!!
The food was excellent. The "show" was mediocre for hibatchi table shows. The atmosphere was the most lacking though. Not much decor, no sense of privacy at all. Seemed more like a cafeteria. I would visit again based on food quality though.
This was my first time eating & experiencing food being cooked before your eyes. The grilled steak & shrimp was on point, I love how the cook entertain before he started to cook. All veggies was cook perfect, and was seasoned so good & tasted so delicious. I'll be back for my birthday in September, thanks for a wholesome and delicious meal.
The hibachi experience here has always been great; the chefs all know their way around preparing the menu items (...and the bartenders are top shelf too); plus each chef is friendly and personable and really engages the audience. The whole family will have a great time
Food is great, always fresh. The staff is friendly and if your going for sushi bar or regular dine in dinner the wait is not long. We frequent this restaurant for lunch and dinner. A must is the strawberry sake!
