I'm so upset that it took me this long to go to this restaurant. I stopped by one day and have been hooked. It's adjacent to a Mexican restaurant but has adequate parking in the front and back of the restaurant. I got a hibachi meal of chicken and steak with fried rice, veggies, soup and salad. The food was available quickly and smelled delicious. The food tasted amazing. The steak was tender and the chicken scrumptious. My husband enjoyed it too. The times for lunch is weird though, is over at 2. They do offer sushi and bento boxes. I've not yet dined in but saw that it did offer a bar, wall mounted TVs, and hibachi style seating where you can watch the Cook preparing your meal for your group.

My husband and I are in town for our granddaughters 7th birthday and she chose Kyotos for her dinner. We had a party of 13 that included two kids and our chef was absolutely amazing. My sons are both Chefs and they were thoroughly impressed. We ended up tipping our chef as much as we did our server. I cannot remember his name but he was excellent. We will be back in the future.

I had the hibachi shrimp to go and it was every bit as good as Tokyo! The only thing that I missed was the cabbage and alfalfa sprouts that they have at Tokyo, but the miso soup was definitely better. We will be back!

Had Anthony for hibachi chef, we laugh with his jokes and enjoyed a well cooked meal; for the sushi day Chan at the sushi bar was very receptive and excellent cook. Will be back there, good restaurant.

This restaurant is on our short list when we're in town. The sushi and hibachi are wonderful. Loved the ginger dressing, especially since it's made in house. I'd encourage you also to source locally when you are able to. You'll add a few customers if you can brag about that. Thanks for taking great care of us!

The food was very good! I had the Shrimp Yakisoba and it tasted just like what I had when living in Japan many years ago on assignment with the military. I've been coming here for many years when I am in Pensacola and they have never disappointed. My husband and I really enjoy the sushi here as well! The dishes I haven't recommend is just because I haven't tried them yet but I suspect everything they offer is very good!

I would like to thank Chong for taking such great care of me and my son for lunch, the food is excellent and my favorite part was the beautiful Koi pond.

The rice dishes are pretty good, but the hibachi is where this place shines. Large sushi variety! Great taste, decent quality and quantity for the price. The lady at the front can be kinda difficult to understand, but she is nice and knows the food on the menu very well.

My wife and I have eaten here several times. It is one of our favorite places to get sushi. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the price. It's a bit expensive, but it's also one of those things where you get what you pay for and I cannot recommend Kyoto enough. They do have a military discount. We actually dined in for the first time recently. We normally order to-go. The staff is great. They are very welcoming, helpful, and attentive.

$26 for all the food in the pictures - maki salmon roll, chicken bento box (which has chicken, a large size of vegetables, an orange, 2 gyoza, fried rice, salad, and a soup), egg rolls, so I definitely left with leftovers. Except for the fried rice, which was dry and tasted like it had sat in a warmer a while, everything was very flavorful

Once upon a time the only hibachi and yum yum sauce my family cared for is 13 hours away in jacksonville nc . Until this evening we took the gamble of ordering from Kyoto Japanese after many failed attempts elsewhere and let me tell you every last penny we spent was absolutely worth it not only is the food absolutely amazing so is the yum yum sauce it is spot on perfection . My 13 year old daughter turned her nose up when we said what we were getting but the moment she took one bite she devoured half a hibachi chicken dinner . And proceeded to say whatever is left over is hers . Then I proceed to tell my wife if you ask me what I want out to eat the automatic answer is now Kyoto Japanese . Try this place if you know what good hibachi is you won’t be disappointed . Can’t wait to try other things from here . And a side note the service just for take out was spectacular .

This spot is a total winner! While my squad is all about the hibachi action, I'm head over heels for their adorable and delicious bento boxes. Hands down, one of the best Japanese joints I've ever had the pleasure of dining at. The vibe is just right and the staff? Simply top-notch.

They're doing a great job despite covid restrictions and receiving numerous to-go calls but still quick and on time with orders. They care about quality and presentation even if it's going into a plastic container. Order was correct, service was great and all staff is wearing masks.

Our chef Anthony was absolutely amazing!!! He went above and beyond for us!! Last time we were here we had a different chef who sad to say gave me food poisoning I can't remember his name but he had everything on the grill at once, YUK!! BUT ANTHONY MADE ME A BELIEVER!! HE NOT ONLY WAS THE BEST BEST HIBACHI CHEF I HAVE HAD, BUT HE IS PRETTY DAMN FLY FOR A WHITE GUY!!!!! When ever you are there ask for Anthony you won't be disappointed!!
